We have always enjoyed this particular Bonefish. I went one a week on a regular basis. this week we went in the evening for dinner. my food was served cold and my friend ordered fish. His fish was a joke. The piece was a little larger than a silver dollar. there was only a acting manager on hand we had to continue to complain about the meals. They finally credited both our dinners and just charged for our drinks. The waiter was not very helpful either. He just kept saying it wasn't his fault. Elsewhere I would probably rate this as four stars, but in this area, it is five stars. The happy hour starts at three and is tremendous. Drinks are incredible from the bar in the seafood is enjoyable. The food here never disappoints and is consistent. Service here is typically very good. I was attending a Woman's Conference @ my Church nearby & went there on our lunch break. The bartender, Brad F was apparently having a BAD DAY. Just 4 of us sitting down at the same time threw him into a tizzy. My food came but my 3 friends ordered soup & waited a half hour. When asked, Brad threw a fit, slamming his fist (3 times) into the cooler right in front of us & kicking the bus bucket on the floor. We told the manager, who told Brad, who came & confronted me @ the bar right then!!!!! I was appalled at the overall confrontational attitude. Poor service, Poor management!! Sooo bonefish is really overpriced and not as good as your would expect. I paid $36 dollars for a small piece of sea bass and two sides ! It looked nothing like the online picture and was very disappointing to see such a small potion as a dinner option! The taste was greasy , basic and wasn't special ,especially not for the price . Went for a quick dinner. It would have been good if our server would of stopped by our table after the food came. (Food runners brought food). Steak was ordered medium well; it was more a medium rare.( I ordered a seafood steak combo did not go to have steak but it happened) So when he was running by we ask for bill and a box I told him I would cook it more at home. Stopped in and sat at bar for dinner and drinks. We used to go to this one often. We haven't been back in 1 year. That time wife and I had one drink each, beer and a Prosecco. We gave the bartender a $20 tip on that bill. Yes we generally tip extremely well. Not even a thank you, he was indifferent. Tonight, I sat at bar waiting for wife. No acknowledgment of my presence. The two bartenders just continued to walk by. When my wife came in they said they had the bar set for someone coming in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The other spots were dirty so that's why I chose the clean spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Then one of them took the menu right out of my hands and put it in another spot at bar once they cleaned it. At that point dinner was somewhere else. We sat there for 4 more minutes and finally was asked what we wanted. We had the beer and Prosecco again, got the bill, drank our drinks, left 1 dollar, then left. Worst service I've seen in a long time. My wife and I were both wait staff back in the day so we totally get the work load and service personality. They don't have it. I'll come back in a year. I made a reservation to eat here with a group of friends. We had a very pleasant experience. This is a comfortable atmosphere. Slightly upscale however jeans and t-shirts are fine as well as summer dresses and business attire. Our server was super accommodating and cheerful. I ordered the filet mignon and asked for it to be medium, it came out closer to medium well. I didn't have them recook it because I didn't want to waste food and was also very hungry. It may have been the cook on staff but next time I go I will order my steak medium rare. Overall the food was very good. The salad was crisp and fresh, the house dressing is made each day. A friend said that the fish and chips was the best she had ever had. Apparently it was the batter, the way it was cooked and the sauce that came with it that did if for her. Although they have a gluten free menu, they serve hot bread with a pesto olive oil; they don't have a gluten free bread option. My suggestion to management is to carry gluten free bread for guests that are allergic to gluten. I had a very nice time there tonight and will go back again. read more

We have been eating at this and other Bonefish Grill restaurants for about 20 years. We enjoy the very extensive menu and reasonable prices. Last night, our food was excellent. My salmon was very good, along with a fine starter salad. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her shrimp and pasta dish. The key lime cake for dessert was terrific. The 2-person 3-course dinner @ about $48 was a great deal! However, service from James R. was poor. He was never around when you needed him, so other staff helped us with getting items and to-go containers. He was slow to get us out check and return with our receipt. The last time we ate here, we had a different server and she was quite good. When we return, we will make sure that James R. is NOT our waiter. read more

The potstickers and bang bang were good as always but the cesar salads were just ok. For mains, we got the fish and chips, a couple filets with mashed potatoes, bang bang shrimp tacos, shrimp Padd Thai with sprouts and the ahi bowl. All were pretty good everyone said, my Padd Thai had too much lime. We went there for a Yelp event and the food was so good! We had Wagu beef sliders, bang bang shrimp, mussels Josephine, and calamari with a sweet Thai sauce. Then for dinner, we had seafood risotto which I liked. The scallops with ginger were ok. I loved the Hawaiian martini with the coconut flavor! We dined at the Bonefish last week anticipating a wonderful experience but we were sadly mistaken. I ordered broiled haddock, it was $29, and I received a 3 Oz piece of dried old fish that was apparently defrosted and thrown together as a meal. We canceled our Christmas Eve reservation as we left. What has happened here, you could always get a 5 star dining experience here, but not now. Three tables near mine sent their meals back to the kitchen and asked for a manager. While on vacation in Ana Maria Island we went to different restaurants and all of them were an hour and a half to three hours long. We decided to skip the local restaurants and decided to go to Bone Fish which is reliable every time we go. My children love to talk and Mr. Scott the waitress was super friendly, he began to talk to them, to make them laugh, he drew cartoons and did magic tricks for them. If any dish had a delay, he informed it was coming shortly but do some act of magic so that they would be comfortable in the restaurant. Started with drinks, Tito's martini with bleu cheese stuffed olives & for her, drink special, watermelon martini. Both were tasty and well made. We started with calamari app (&the bread n pesto of course) which was awesome; lightly fried and with peppers and the sweet chili sauce. (Glass of red w/ dinner) The entrees were both good, nothing over the top. Gnocchi was cooked well, not gummy or over cooked; and the salmon was good as well. She didn't like the spinach artichoke topping, and I agree it was a bit much, would've been better on the side perhaps. Wife and I here to have our traditional late lunch for New Years Eve. You must hurry to get the seasonal specials: white cosmo and Imperial dip with housemade chips. Both incredible. My wife had the Norwegian salmon. Loved it. My Mahi Mahi Oscar equally delicious. Sides of spinach were most welcome. Service, as usual was spot on- attentive but not intrusive. We could smell the alcohol in the server's breath, his hands were filthy... hand nails like if he was scratching mud... found a hair in my food... my beer tastes like they have pour salt and lemon to it... total disappointment! To be a nice chain restaurant was just horrible, employees 3 out of 5 looked like they just rolled out of bed, smoke a pack of cigarettes and showed up at work.
