I asked about the drinks and he said, "It's Happy Hour on margaritas. They are $10 instead of $21." I said, "Great, can I order please?" He replied, "I will send someone to take your order." About a minute later a waitress came and we ordered a round of margaritas. Later on, we ordered another round. When we asked to pay the bill at the end, we were surprised to see our bill was more than double what we expected. I asked, "Why are all the margaritas charged at $21?" She replied, "The coconut and pineapple margaritas are not included on Happy Hour, only classic margaritas." We then explained the conversation we had with the barman upon entry and pointed out the barman who told us all the margaritas were $10. The response we received was, "Well, he doesn't know." The point we were politely making is that the barman is their staff member, he told us about the offer, and that is why we bought the drinks. "He doesn't know" is not a valid excuse when it is your own staff member providing pricing information to customers. Under Australian Consumer Law, businesses are responsible for representations made by their staff. This situation involves breaches of Australian Consumer Law, including Section 18 (misleading or deceptive conduct), Section 29(1)(i) (false or misleading representations about price), and Section 48 (failure to clearly disclose pricing and exclusions). The waitress's lack of customer service skills at this point was quite clear and she may have been new to the industry. I paid under protest, as the charge had already been processed before the receipt was provided. The receipt later confirmed that the incorrect amount had been charged. I said at the time that I would write to the manager to sort it out, as we expected that the manager of a venue would have the experience, professionalism, and basic understanding of Australian Consumer Law to resolve a clear staff error. An email was sent to INFO@donpedros.com.au , but no response has been received. I also requested that the manager review the venue's surveillance footage to listen to the original conversation, which would help with staff training and prevent this from happening again. Unfortunately, the manager/owner has still not sorted out the issue. If a guest is treated this way after a clear staff error, it says a lot about how a venue operates.

Started with the Brisket taco, sounded basic with iceberg lettuce. But was really good. The chipotle mayo set it off. So ordered the Baja Fish Taco. Clearly I liked the chipotle mayo but the pineapple salsa was great! Nice patio seating, however small so make a reservation. Bar area is inside but can see and feel the breeze from the patio.

They have out door couches to lounge on. Chairs and tables to sit and eat. You can easily sit and relax away a good couple of hours here. My friends and I got here after we had left our luggage at our rental. And sat here what it seems like a week. We sat down and had a bite to eat. The fish and chips. They are amazing. We found this beer called Summer. And it was $25 Aussie for a bucket. Not bad. We hung out for about an hour. Then we decided to hit the water. So we decided to ask where we could get sunblock. And they brought over Carla. She was our savior. The sun is very hot here. We hit the water and came back after a little sun cooking. We stepped up our buckets. We stayed there until we left. Day 2 we did a lot of the same. We kept a ritual of just stopping by and having a bite and beers. The weekend is off the hook. Very busy. All day and all night. But they close at 12. Everyone and anyone is there. People celebrating the weekend to people out for bachelorette parties. Also birthday parties to small wedding reception. On Monday Feb. 12,2018 we were there just enjoying a bite and a couple beers. We weren't going to stay long. It wasn't too busy. Which was nice after the weekend. Then all of a sudden. All these well nicely dressed people started to show up. We new it was some type of party. But not for who or what. Girls/ Ladies dressed to impress. And impressed we were. Guys somewhat dresss nice also. Some better than others. And all of a sudden 3 guys in these bright loud jump suits. We were like huh? Then they decided to get on the microphone. Just being. Loud. It was my turn to get a pitcher of the passion fruit mojito. Which is really good. Don't judge. But when in Aussie. Drink like the Aussies. I asked one of the guys in the suits. What's up with suits. He said. Trying to get attention. They were going to have a fundraiser for Brain Cancer Awareness. I told him. He was doing a great thing. Not knowing that lot of the people there were celebrities. It's not like we watch Aussie tv everyday. Ok we did while on vacation. But still. How are we to spot tv actors and movie star actors. Then they sent out their ladies to sell raffle tickets. It was Bianca Zouppas. And another great looking actress. Sorry didn't get her name. But if you know who she is. Go ahead and let us know. Anyways. How could we say no to them. We weren't going to. It's a good cause. But they did get us to buy more tickets. We also got into the fun of the auction. I ended up winning a bat. For only $300. And after mingling with everyone. It was a great night. This place gave up their inside area for an event that raised some good money. This place has a staff that is not only great looking. But have the best attitude I've been to in years. Probably the best in all the world. Guys and girls. Both treated us with great respect and were always professionals. Staff was fun and always helpful. If you ever visit Bondi Beach. Stop by and try their Mojitos and their food. And the people watching is very good also. So Mates don't wait. Or you might have to stand in line in the sun.

They have a killer breakfast menu that's served all day. Took my family here when they were visiting from the states. Very delicious, I highly recommend. We also ordered the trio tasting plate so we could have a little bit of everything. My husband ordered the shakshouka (middle eastern breakfast) it was ok, we were expecting more from this dish, it was a bit bland. They offer some great coffee! It was a busy Sunday afternoon but we accepted the 1 hr wait and boy was is worth it! The food was amazing!!! I had the brunch breakfast burrito and being a Cali girl it was hard to order because you know all the awesome Mexican food is in SoCal :D if not Mexico, it was so yum! My breakfast burrito was deconstructed and delicious. Look at my photos, the burrito included chorizo cooked fancy, spiced up perfectly scrambled eggs and flour tortillas (or corn tortillas). I also had a bit of my aunty's white truffle oil scramble eggs WOW! I will never be able to eat normal scrambled eggs again! We will definitely return before we leave Australia! I forgot to mention how wonderful and helpful the waitresses and hostess are! My apologies for the multiple updates as my international cellphone and wireless connection at our temp home was acting up.

At one point, one of the guy who was cooking, literally thrown food on wet floor and he left it there for at least 15 minutes (then i left...). Not to mention a cockroach on the wall. The waitress was friendly but with no exeprience. Big no no

I wish I had read the reviews before coming here…read more Yeah, what everyone else wrote pretty much sums up our experience last night. This place is located in a prime location on Hall St and I've walked by it several times wondering how the Mexican food was. At the same time I've never heard anyone mention it so maybe there was a reason why. A sign on the front advertised fresh fruit margaritas - mango, watermelon and strawberry. Sounded good to me! I ordered the crushed mango margarita and my bf ordered the classic lime. It tasted like water. Literally no flavour at all. Just a bunch of blended ice, despite it looking colourful. I'm really wondering if the staff was aware?! Even the classic margarita was a pile of blended ice and a shot of tequila. We ordered chips and guacamole to start. Guacamole was really bland. Needed salt or onions or something as it tasted like cream. We also got the sizzling chicken fajitas for two. Ok this is when we really regretted coming here. The chicken was completely dry and the pieces were burnt/stuck to the platter. No spices or seasoning was used. Just dry chicken pieces and some capsicum. It came with the usual sides - sour cream, pico de gallo , gaucamole, cheese, beans, rice. Beans and rice were super bland. We had to drench our fajitas in hot sauce just to give it some flavour. Worst Mexican food I've ever had. Shockingly horrible and bland.

We were presented with a menu of their selection for the season and ordered through the bar where each order was given a buzzer. Pick-up of said order would be at the kitchen, not far from the host stand. Every dish looked scrumptious! I ordered ricotta gnocchi to share and absolutely loved it. There were roasted vegetables that was an absolute perfection and the gnocchi filled with ricotta cheese checked all the boxes for me! That was delectable!
