The place is famous for their Chai tea which comes out in a Tea pot and its freshly brewed. They provide you with a colander to use when pouring it. The chai was so authentic and beautifully spiced. It was so fresh and the tea pot allowed you to have about 2 1/2 cups so ensured you could savour the flavour. The chai had options for Soy , full cream milk , skim or Almond Milk. The Pesto eggs came out on a bread board which consisted of Iggy bread ( famous bread - and for reason, it was delicious) and a mini frying pan for the eggs. The eggs were fried and cooked with Pesto which gave it a beautiful basil and garlic flavour. The combination of rocket and almonds combined perfectly to give it an extra crunchy flavour. The bread was perfect for dipping in the eggs along with the labor dip on the side which gave a beautiful sour taste. When you set your expectations so high sometimes you get disappointed but this wasn't one of those occasions. There is a distinct resort life vibe on the deck of The Crabbe Hole. It would be easy to imagine you've popped down to your resort cafe for breakfast and a protein shake (yes it's on the menu) before dipping into the pool, popping next door to the gym, following on in the neighouring sauna and finishing with a massage before migrating to the sandy shore of Bondi. I like the Crabba Hole. It feels like a bit of a secret. Accessed through the turnstyle for the pool, you simply drop the password ("I'm going to the crabbe hole") in a hushed voice then make your way along the railed ledge to the hideout shop. It was my turn to get a pitcher of the passion fruit mojito. Which is really good. Don't judge. But when in Aussie. Drink like the Aussies. I asked one of the guys in the suits. What's up with suits. He said. Trying to get attention. They were going to have a fundraiser for Brain Cancer Awareness. I told him. He was doing a great thing. Not knowing that lot of the people there were celebrities. It's not like we watch Aussie tv everyday. Ok we did while on vacation. But still. How are we to spot tv actors and movie star actors. Then they sent out their ladies to sell raffle tickets. It was Bianca Zouppas. And another great looking actress. Sorry didn't get her name. But if you know who she is. Go ahead and let us know. Anyways. How could we say no to them. We weren't going to. It's a good cause. But they did get us to buy more tickets. We also got into the fun of the auction. I ended up winning a bat. For only $300. And after mingling with everyone. It was a great night. This place gave up their inside area for an event that raised some good money. This place has a staff that is not only great looking. But have the best attitude I've been to in years. Probably the best in all the world. Guys and girls. Both treated us with great respect and were always professionals. Staff was fun and always helpful. If you ever visit Bondi Beach.
