But now as I've recently gone back my second time, I can verify that their service and quality of food have made outstanding improvements. Worthy of my 5 star yelp review!! I had the steak sliders... reminded me of mini banh mi Vietnamese sandwiches. Really yummy. Also had the Soy Garlic drum sticks and they were soo tasty! The skin was perfectly crispy. So, my hubby and I have been back! This is our third time. We had a combo (wings and legs) with Soy Garlic sauce and Korean Tacos. By the way, today was half off any appetizers and happy hour was until 7pm and my hubby was able to enjoy their Korean Beer at half off, WOW!! Not greasy. Wings/Drumsticks of Soy Garlic: 1/5 - Wings were perfectly cooked and moist. A lot of meat on the wings and drumsticks. Drumsticks were dry. Soy Garlic sauce was mediocre. I went here earlier today to try their food. It was totally good. I order 3 dishes plus a side of kimchi. Of course, I ordered the wings. It was 20 pieces half soy sauce wings and the spicy wings, which were really spicy. I also ordered the bibimbap and something called "bull dak". The bull dak has rice cakes in it which was like my favorite thing. There were only about 5 rice cakes in the dishes with chicken chunks and melted mozzarella cheese on top. I asked the owner if when I come again, I can have the bull dak without the chicken and more rice cakes. He said they make the food to order, so I was glad about that. The bibimbap was really good too. I ordered it with bulgogi beef. Their bulgogi beef is very flavorful. I think I will try that next time I go as a full dish. Overall, everything was great. I definitely will return. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because I almost never give out 5 stars. However, I recommend you yelpers try it. read more

Bonchon chicken is the bomb! If you drive by it all the time wondering what's up with Korean fried chicken, it's fantastic! Only two kinds of spice...garlic and spicey. The garlic is fantastic! BWW has nothing that comes close. The spicey is beyond spicey anywhere else, but the spice does not linger like jalapeno or serrano. This spice is the bomb. Great flavor great spice, but doesn't hurt. Our bartender (Ysabela) and manager (Victor) schooled us on sake (some cold Sake...not your grandfathers sake) they have some great samples to try. I always try to order different things.. from the fried rice with bulgogi... fried dumplings [which is probably the best thing they have there].. popcorn chicken [which btw every time I've ordered it it comes out looking burnt]... and a few other options. Nothing special about it at all. Can't even get a refill without asking for it. You literally have to ask for EVERYTHING. Doesn't help while I'm eating with my family the owner of the place comes walking around only talking to fellow yuppy type families. He didn't Greet everyone... he picked and chose who to speak to. While trash talking another Korean fried chicken establishment in Houston. Which every time I've been there I've received WAY better service and their chicken is extremely crispy and still moist compared to this place. Their chicken is just like any other chicken wing place only thing that makes "Korean" is their flavor options. Beware. Horrible service. I much rather have went to h Mart. This is for the Katy location. Well let me start this by saying I have been here many times. Probably 10 times. 9 times in a row it was perfect. Food was incredible. Service was pretty good. Sometimes your waiter forgets about you but it's okay. The food is always amazing. Until my last time maybe 4 months ago. We had a small party of 10. Usually it's just a party of 4. With 4 people it was just fine. Well, we ordered our food and literally I looked around and 6 tables or more that came after us were given their food. We waited. I figured it's okay. We can wait a bit. This proceeded to be around 45 minutes of a wait. We just ordered some drums and fries. I think the larger option. Anyways. Everyone would get their food. I'm sure they forgot to put our order in. I complained and was discarded. Then I had to flag down the manager and complained. It took longer and longer. It was really insulting. Anyways I asked him if there was anything he could do for this inconvenience. I mean we didn't have anything forever. He did nothing. I paid our almost $200 bill when the food finally arrived and we left. Food was okay but not as magical. Not as saucy. Rather dry. I get the soy garlic drums and the spicy ones. Both were unambitious. I mean I expected maybe 10% off or a free app for this wait. I may get bad mouthed but the manager was very cocky and could care less for my concerns or business. I won't be back. It was sad as the drums usually are incredible. Best anywhere. So yeah go there for that. But for service it's very hit or miss. The manager sucked that's for sure. Update: In response to managers reply. The issue was that I voiced my opinion. I ordered my food at 12:15pm and was supposed to be ready at 12:50. When I arrived at 12:50 exactly I called to let them know I was outside. The lady on the phone informed me that they will be out shortly with my food. 9 minutes go by and still haven't received my food. I call back and asked what's going on with my food the lady now tells me that they can't find the order that I just placed and she would be coming out. After they clearly said it will be out shortly. They walked to the front of my truck to check the receipt and the lady tried to whisper "oh he did pay for it".
