Dined in and enjoyed the Bona Karma pizza and green salad. Both were excellent. They didn't mind that I brought in a beer from the adjacent liquor store. Mostly a take out place but there are seven seats inside. Highly recommend! read more

I ordered a pizza for delivery at my residence, which is max 3 minutes from the store. I ordered it at 3:15. At 4:30, having not heard a word from Bona, I called to ask about it. The woman who answered seemed clueless, had to put me on hold to even see if my order was received. She came back and said their delivery driver was having car problems. Said the owner would call me in ten minutes. At almost 5 o'clock, the owner called me and was surly and acted as if I was being completely unreasonable. He did offer to send a second pizza as the delivery man had already left with my order, but I declined his offer and asked that the delivery fee and tip be removed. He refused. Within a few minutes I received a pizza that had apparently been sitting around for almost 2 hours. it was a soggy mess, mostly sauce and few toppings that I'd ordered. If you'd like to pay 27 dollars for a crappy pizza, a 2 hour wait, and a terrible bad attitude that you dared to question it, have at it. I'll pass in the future. read more

I ordered a calzone and salad. It was by far the worst take out I have ever had. The delivery was 25 minutes late and I am 5 minutes from their location. The food was cold. The calzone did not even resemble a calzone it was burnt and not edible. The salad was lettuce swimming in some kind of nasty dressing. I am surprised this place is even in business. read more

I've passed bona a few times, and my co workers really love this place! Not my favorite but it is decent pizza! The delivery man was super sweet and helpful, gave us a bunch of extra packets and toppings. I feel like the flavors are basic , maybe not enough sauce for me... overall average pizza place! If you're hungry it works. Easiestly the most soggy pizza I've ever had. Extremely sloppy. The flavor was kinda there just no crunch. Just pure slop. Only reason it's getting 2 stars is because they got it here in 45min. I even gave the bartender a slice just to make sure it wasn't just because I've had a couple drinks, and he agreed. read more

Pizza was delicious. Got the classico and all ingredients were ultra fresh. They put toppings all the way to the outer edge so the smaller size pizza seems big. The crust was delicious. I crisp mine up even more in a cast iron skillet. I didn't find a way to order online but I called and placed the order easily. They do deliver but I went and picked it up since I'm fairly close. Ordered food to go from here late at night to our hotel. I was nervous ordering beef skewers at midnight from a pizza spot. I was pleasantly surprised though with the beef skewer sandwich. Worst experience ever trying to get our pizza's. The Manager or owner is out of his element and doesn't know how anything works, he screams and curses at his employees and customers. He cannot even take a simple phone order, 4 times we tried to give him our order, he said he got it. I drove over to pick up 2 of one, 2 of another and 3 of a third. What I got was 1, 1 and 2. My friends and I meet up on Mondays at a bar called The Step Up. I was at that bar one night and a friend ordered a pizza from Bona Pizza. I usually order a pizza there on Mondays from a competitor.Since they have no kitchen and offer no food. Patrons order from their favorite places. That is, until I found Bona. You'll drive by this place and never see it, hidden behind a small liquor store. But, oh, what a gem, to find real Greek and Italian finger food in Dallas! They make the best Calzones! (try the Italiano Calzone, with seasoned spinach). And the Babaghnooj is to die for (throw away your hummus, and try this eggplant infused dip, with Bona's fresh Pita! Did I mention the pizzas? There is some great pizza in Dallas, and then there are some posers, like Grimaldi's (which isn't exactly New York-styled pizza). But here at Bona, you'll get authentic Greek and Italian pizzas! Be sure to try the Olympia, with garlic white sauce and seasoned chicken. My office ordered from here. We called in our orders... The man taking the order did not read the orders back. Upon arriving my order was not correct at all. The person who called in the order tried to call them back and make it right, but the man on the phone raised his voice at her and then hung up. I called back upset and got the same treatment. Upon delivery, we thought at the time it was the best pizza we had ever eaten. Here's the best part, Bona Pizza is less than a mile from my house. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!! If I could give no stars I would. My order was input incorrectly by the people at Bona taking it. To my shockingly gross surprise I received a pizza with anchovies when I asked for artichokes. And a ceaser salad, which came with chicken....which I did not ask for. I could have been deathly allergic to either of these things. I tipped the driver who is hired by Bona $50 because he came out during the snow apocalypse. So the order was wrong, fine. Gross but fine. I called the next day and the owner said no refunds only credit and LITERALLY was screaming at me!!!
