In a convenient location with a spacious parking lot off of Beltway 8 and Bellaire, Bon K BBQ offers a stellar all-you-can-eat (AYCE) Korean barbecue experience with a buffet-style setup that's both convenient and enticing. The restaurant's casual and vibrant ambiance creates a lively and welcoming environment, also good for date nights and large parties celebrating any occasion including birthdays and graduations. The buffet offers a wide selection of fresh meats, alongside an impressive array of banchan (side dishes) and hot foods like kimchi fried rice, noodles, soups, and salads (the macaroni one being my fav!). Some items, like thinly-sliced pork belly (daepae), are made to order and served directly to your table. The added hot pot option included in the AYCE special elevates the experience and offers a variety of options for vegetarians. Service is attentive and there's a button you can press to call their attention, since most of the items are self serve. Ask your server for a cocktail during happy hour or for the noodles you can add to your hot pot. With its diverse offerings, engaging atmosphere, and value-packed AYCE pricing, Bon KBBQ is a must-visit for Korean barbecue enthusiasts - the best part? It's Korean owned and managed so you can trust it's authenticity!

This was my first time here and I enjoyed it. It's very spacious and the employees were all extremely friendly and attentive. Several different staff members have checked on us and our grills were changed often. They offer an ample number of different types of meat, both from the menu and at the buffet. The sides and other buffet items are limited and not as plentiful compared to some other restaurants, but I didn't care too much about that because when I come to an AYCE Korean BBQ, all I want to eat is the MEAT! The salad bar and the Korean side dishes were simple and had the core banchans. Maybe it was late at night, but I wish the fried chicken was fresh. However, it tasted like it has been sitting there for a while, or it was just overly cooked. My favorite Korean BBQ meat has always been the LA-Galbi, but the Galbi here was extremely chewy! It was difficult to chew and when I swallowed it, I felt like I'm swallowing it whole. The pineapple steak is pretty good, but my FAVORITE meat at this location was the bulgogi. That surprised me because usually the bulgogi is meh at other locations, but it was so tender and flavorful here. I honestly would come back here just for the bulgogi; it's THAT good! Entree prices for LA-Galbi and bulgogi at a sit-down Korean restaurant is around $24-28, so I find that the prices here are reasonable at $29.99 for an adult and $7.99 for kids for dinner. They do have a $20 fee if you have leftover food, which sounds outrageous, but I think it is a great way to help reduce food waste and insane binging. I wish they had dessert included in the price. They do offer some treats, but they come with an additional cost. Overall, it's a great place to try without breaking the bank.

One of the better AYCE KBBQ spots in Houston. The dinning area is very large so we've never had trouble seating and we've never felt rushed like some other places. They have a button you can push and a waitress will quickly come to take your order for more meat. While there are a lot of options you can self-serve like the bulgogi and spicy pork, the better options are ordered. The beef tongue is my favorite. Beef belly, pork belly, pork cheeks, galbi and beef brisket are all good too. One lesser known option is the pineapple galbi, it's a relatively large cut of meat and the pineapple is great grilled. We like to order the pineapple separately as first dessert before the ice cream. Kids 5-10 are $17.99 for dinner/weekends, which isn't bad if they are closer to 10yr and eat enough. Large parking lot in the shopping center. There's always enough to parking.

Went here for our son's birthday since he requested for Korean AYCE BBQ. We got here around 8pm on a Monday night and it was not too busy since it was a weeknight and it was raining. The restaurant is very clean and spacious and immediately we were given a table and asked what drinks we wanted. The ayce bar has a huge assortment of different meats, veggies, sauces and even some ready made hot foods. My kids enjoyed cooking their own bbq selections the most. They were also very accommodating to let us cut and serve our birthday cake. Highly recommend!

Formerly "Jim Korean BBQ," the rebranded establishment has reverted back to pre-pandemic practices of an AYCE fully self-serve buffet. Located in the corner of a shopping plaza along a busy section of 1960, you might notice that the parking lot is not too inviting. However, the restaurant itself was clean, everything appeared fresh, the menu had huge variety (from sides, veggies, soup, seafood, meat, and sauces), and the food tasted delicious. It's a fun & interactive experience. After surveying the buffet and choosing your arsenal, you'll cook at your table on an open grill mounted in the center. They'll even change out the grates for you in between rounds. If you want to put in less work, you can also select from ready-to-eat items like fried rice and cooked meats lol. As a nice touch at the end of your meal, they offer a complimentary cup of sweet ginger punch. A great value at only $19.99 for lunch or $29.99 for dinner. Bring an appetite!

AYCE KBBQ, was recommended this spot by one of my friends. The look of this place was very modern and clean. They set up the sides as a buffet style which was smart cuz rather than continuing to ask our waiter for more sides we can get it ourselves. Also they had premade entrees like chicken & fried shrimp. But you're here for the meat so why fill up on that stuff?? They have a wide range of meat selection such as brisket to Bulgogi to pork belly. They all came out in a reasonable amount of time. If you need to grab the waiters attention, there's a light switch at your booth which would signal one of them to come to you. One thing tho is that they don't have rice paper but we was able to manage. Overall this place is great and would highly recommend this place.

If you're like Billy Joel, drinking your tonic and Jin, then perhaps you'd like to come and drink one over some AYCE Korean BBQ, some of the very best out there no less. You can find these here, in Chinatown, and in Dallas, but Jin is one of the most popular in Texas for a reason. You can't get much better than Korean when it comes to all you can eat Korean barbecue. It's one of the best party meals out there and this is the exact location that I would send anybody to. It's always hearty and fun and it's always tasty, it's friendlier and usually has more available than the Chinatown location, and it's good for the Korean Community up here in the north and we all love it. The Chinatown and Dallas ones are good... sorry not Dallas, Plano... but this one is my fave.

Tonight was our first time here. We were driving by and were curious so we decided to stop in. The restaurant is large in size. Plenty of tables. We were seated right away. This place is great for large groups as they have long tables that can accommodate. I was very dissatisfied with the price of the large sake. It was $10 for the large house sake but it looked like a small. See photo for size reference. My hubby and I didn't see the value in it. Knowing how inexpensive sake is, it felt like a rip off. Don't get it. The "menu"is very small but they do have a buffet with several options (see photos). Each adult pays $30 for dinner. The best meat we had was the beef bulgogi which didn't come from the menu, it came from the buffet line. That's why they got 3 stars. I would probably go here just to have the bulgogi. The items that came from the back were not really well seasoned. Some bad no seasoning at all. From the menu the pineapple short ribs were tasty. Plenty of easy parking & friendly waitstaff.

If you enjoy Korean bbq, bon kbbq is a great choice, costing only about $20 during the week at lunch to $30 a person for weekends and dinner, it's a great bargain considering the choices of meat and sides. Personally I love their galbi which is the short rib bone in. They also have shrimp, chicken, squid, other meats and of course vegetables and choices of soups, steamed rice and fried rice. Overall I'm very happy with the quality of food, the cleanliness of the restaurant, the friendliness of the staff and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant.

Jin Korean bbq was more than just a bbq. They also have fried dishes, salad, fried rice, chicken wings, you name it! I love how they have an buffet style setup as well as ordering other made to order dishes from a menu. That way you can fight hunger almost immediately upon arrival. Of course, if there is no wait. Honestly for the variety they have it is worth the price. And you can grab as much as you like! Just don't waste or they might charge you an excessive waste fee. Not only that, but some of the meat was flavored well and the brisket wasn't too fatty. I really love the galbi. Love to see it! All the meats are shown below. This is a guaranteed you won't leave hungry. Everything cooks so fast and it brings everyone together. Great experience, great service.

=COVID-19 REVIEW= I've been avoiding Buffet restaurants for the longest time during the pandemic just because I have no trust in people to wear their mask when they go to the buffet line to get their food. So I was a little iffy coming here, but hey it was for a work lunch and I didn't really have a say in where we'd go. To my surprise, the restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived, and there was not a buffet line in sight. Instead, it was a sit-down buffet. You pick what you want off the menu and they will bring it out to you. Like I said, the restaurant was pretty empty when we first arrived. It would get a little bit more packed in the time we were there, but the service was top-notch. From the time we walked in to the time we left, the staff was on point. They constantly came to see if wanted to order anything else off the menu, they constantly came to fill up our water glasses, they constantly checked on the grill plate to see if it needed replacing. And everybody on staff was wearing a face mask (at least the ones I saw). As for the food, it is a Korean BBQ after all so I don't need to tell you that you cook everything on your own to your preferred doneness and whatnot. I enjoyed every single meat and veggie that was ordered off the menu so definitely no complaints for me as far as food. Definitely wouldn't mind coming back here for future work lunch or if I'm just in the area.

Great Korean BBQ spot! Loved all of the selection of meats to choose from and cooking it at our own table was fun for a group. Highly recommend the Terra beer. The lunch special was a great deal for all you can eat. Clean and fun ambiance inside. The salad bar/sides were a bit limited in options but the main focus point is the bbq anyways. The dessert sweet ginger rice drink was a nice surprise. Highly recommend!

The meat is brought to you upon order/request, much better than the photos I had seen, and cleaner idea as well. This is a cool spot to try out, they have variety side orders and but not many sauces to choose from. They could have more. The meats were very good. I recommend the restaurant start brush each grill with a neutral cooking oil to prevent sticking at much. Also it would enhance the sizzle I think. The service was good, the ambiance was industrial but I had a good time overall. Limited desert options, it would be interesting to see more.
