Great place for crepes! We were a big group, so I did get the chance to try different ones. First of all, everything is made in house and from scratch, from the fresh mushrooms to the meats. I had the Florentine crepes. Yes, the chicken spices didn't match, as the previous yelper said, but I talked to the owners about that and they are changing the chicken spices for that. Highly recommend the salmon crepe (forgot the name). I also tried the Nana's crepe (the apple pie one) and it was delicious. Just the plain crepe on its own can be eaten and it very good. I'll end with how amazing the hibiscus juice/tea was. I can't wait to come back in the summer and drink it. It was the best I've ever had.

Decided to check this place out because my daughters wanted crepes. We had to wait a long time for our crepes but that's only because there were only 2 people working. Got the Classic and Florentine. Classic had a ton of Nutella and not enough fruit. The Florentine was super salty with a little kick. I think if it wasn't that salty I would've enjoyed it.

Staff was nice but they were out of a variety of things on the menu and I was told it was normal because management doesn't buy them.

So...not sure the food is good. I just happen to think the attitude is a little worse. Came with a group and someone in our party ordered the French Onion Soup and then a Croque Monsieur. No one else in our group ordered a starter. What's weird is for some reason they decided to course the soup with everyone's mains. Normal restaurants, including like....your local suburban Chile's, know not to do that but this place thought that was normal. So already, my friend is a course behind everyone because they didn't serve his starter first. What's worse is when he finishes his soup...he doesn't get his main. We actually FINISH our mains and he still hasn't gotten his. He makes a comment VERY NICELY to our waitress like hey! Just wanted to check on my meal! She responds, "all our meals are timed perfectly." What!! My buddy goes, "Okay...I've just been waiting for 15/20 minutes so I think I'm ready for my sandwich." She responds, "okay....let me alert the kitchen." Wait? You didn't even tell them he needed his meal?? We wait another 15 minutes. We flag the waitress again and ask where his meal is and she responds "everything is made to order so the kitchen needs some time." Okay. This is a Croque Monsieur. Are you....rising bread right now? What is happening? So I get frustrated and jump into this and say, "Ya but we've been waiting over 30 minutes for his main. We've all finished so now you're asking my friend to eat alone." She responds, "everything is served hot so what is the problem??" !! I get annoyed because up until this moment, we've been pretty nice. But this waitress not acknowledging any issue or trying to make it better and talking back to us like this is weird. So I just say, "Bring a manager over." Well...it didn't matter. This lady learned her attitude from somewhere and it was probably from the manager. The manager immediately is on the offense like, "you ordered a soup and we wanted you to have the soup hot. And we want your next meal to be hot. We make everything fresh and we clean our dishes in between." The heck? All we want is for my friend to be able to eat his main. So I say, now rudely, "just bring the food. We have waited 30 minutes now. Everyone is done with their meal. If you haven't made it, cancel the order and we'll go somewhere else." She responds, "we usually serve the starter first. If you didn't like that, then don't order a starter." SERIOUSLY!? What is happening!? I think about telling her that USUALLY even if only 1 person has ordered a starter, that gets served first before EVERYONE gets their mains TOGETHER. Instead I say, "listen, cancel the order or give us the food but we aren't waiting any longer." And she goes, "we can't cancel it. The kitchen has been working on it." So I say "this better be home baked bread because they've been working on it for 45 minutes by now." IT STILL takes another 5 minutes to get this meal. It is cold. It is an average Croque Monsieur. And they probably all spit in it. At the very end, the waitress comes over and says, "I see what you mean and there were coursing issues but we take pride in our food and we weren't going to degrade that so we could serve you faster." This place literally lives up to a Parisian stereotype, I guess.

There is a small market doenstairs with easy to grab pre prepared meals and wines as well as other snacks and beverages as well as trinkets and souvenirs. Since everything in the store is pretty expensive, I don't really purchase much. I have other family members gift a meal or two for me which was eggplant parmesean and I have to say that it was pretty tasty. The portion size i think is generous as well though it did make me really sleepy and nearly almost put me in a coma Nonetheless, it was pretty delicious. They have a wide variety of other goods to choose from as well downstairs. When you take the escalator or elevator to the upper floors, there are dry goods such as breads, tomato sauces, cheeses, bread, and much much more. The wine wall was pretty spectacular as well amd they divided the wines by region. The other part of the store has a stand alone restaurant towards the back which was packed. They also had these stations woth an open concept kitchen so you can see the chefs cooking as well as the bartenders preparing drinks. That was fun to witness as I walked by. It was very hustle bustle and they had one lounge style sit down eatery with waiters and another casual restaurant in the back with waiters. I highly recommend it if you have not gone. I think it's a Chicago must do!

The poor pastry staff is super patience with me and have to handle stupid question about the options for a husband that got got a super weak stomach and lactose intolerant (like you are in a freaking Italian grocery! Daily and oil and coffee is a must!). Another I was drooling on the cheese and meat section but cannot get any. The other staff is super patience to help me check out with a pint! The self checkout is easy to use even for a first timer. There were so much stuff I want to get but I got no room in my suitcase! I really want to try the pizza but I think I have to switch to a different travel companion next time! I will definitely return whenever I am in the area!

And I passed this delightful cart being pushed back to wherever crepes are dreamed from. She wasn't in service but when I commented on the unusual street fare she was selling she told me she had banana Nutella crepes (a sweet offering) or mushroom, spinach, feta crepes (a savory offering). It seems the menu changes daily. I purchased a savory crepe and it was fantastic! The mushrooms were large, wonderfully sautéed and had a nice garlicky sauce. The spinach was wilted but not soggy (as it should be) and the feta brought the whole thing together with a spicy kick. The crepe was of a good, eggy flavor and texture. It didn't fall apart as I ate it and really filled me up. I regret that I don't know where this magical cart does their regular business because I want to go back for more.
