They replaced 12 picture windows in a 1950's house, which required quite a bit of interior trim. I had to wait a number of weeks for the windows to be fabricated. Once they were built, they scheduled installation and everything went right on schedule and was done in a day and a half. The interior trim did need some caulking but I did that, and painted the trim myself to match the rest of my interior. The outside colors coordinate well with my house colors. 100% would recommend this company and may use again for more windows.

Cameron was on time (rare) for our initial appointment and was super (not overly) friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He made sure I understood everything and found every discount available. He also eased my helped my anxiety making my first large investment in my new home. When Lucas, the project manager, came to get exact measurements he found an issue that Cameron wouldn't have found. Long story short the issues were resolved and the order submitted. what could have taken 6-8 weeks was more like 4-5 weeks. Andersen Windows failed in both installation, customer service and communication. We began our…read moreproject in October with dates to install in November. When installation day came they installed a door with a crack and then failed to order a window. This meant I had a gaping hole in what would be my back door throughout winter. It was covered by plywood meaning I only had my front door for nearly 2 months the. Once the door was properly installed they failed to install a keyed-lock. Now I have access to 2 exits but could not enter through my back door since the only way to lock it was from the inside. The lock took another 3 months and this meant I went without a functioning back door for nearly 6 months. Then once installed they put in the wrong trim meaning another rescheduled date which also meant another day I had to either take off work or beg my boss to work from home. Andersen agreed to compensate me $1500 for the inconvenience which is laughable. I was told I would receive this within 2 weeks on April 23rd. Today, when I didn't receive it I contacted Andersen and they said they hadn't processed it until May 5th and it would be another 2-4 weeks to receive the check. I regret going with Andersen. They have been difficult from start to finish. For a nearly $60,000 contract, $1500 compensation does not reflect the inconvenience they have caused. Do NOT go with Andersen Windows.

glass in the bathroom broke during the really cold stretch of weather. we had someone else give an…read moreestimate which seemed high considering all we did was send a picture and measurements of the window (it's a very small window). read some reviews and decided to give Glass Guru a shot. the person that came out measured everyone and gave us an estimate that is almost $150 less than the first one. we put in half as a deposit. two weeks later, another worker came out, took out the window, put in new glass, and was done in about an hour. I would definitely use Glass Guru again if something like this happens.
