From the very beginning, Ari stood out. She was responsive, knowledgeable, straightforward, and genuinely involved in helping us through both the roofing process and the insurance claim. Ari arranged to be at our home when the insurance adjuster inspected the property and documented everything herself, taking hundreds of photographs to make sure the damage to our home, garage, and shed was properly recorded. That became extremely valuable when State Farm initially questioned the scope of the claim and later proposed only a partial roof replacement. Ari and Grand Exteriors' project manager stepped in, provided the necessary documentation and bid, explained why the work needed to be completed properly, and helped us get approval for the full replacement. Throughout the entire process, Ari was exceptional. She brought sample boards to our home, met with my wife Lynette and me, answered texts and emails promptly, helped us work through the insurance questions, and made the whole process remarkably easy. Paul met with us at each crucial point to ensure we had the best care and experience possible. He came out to be onsite during the insurance inspector's examination of the roof and siding and helped us point out things that they should cover from the damage and serving as our advocate to the insurance company for things we wouldn't have noticed or thought to bring up otherwise. Once we got approved through insurance, Paul and his team took care of everything else - not nearly the headache I expected when working with insurance! He made sure everything we wanted to do would be covered in full. He then came out to discuss roof shingle and siding options, and gave helpful insight to which colors are most popular and show up best. He had the roofing team out shortly after, and the roofing crew worked quickly and efficiently. They did an awesome job in just over a full day! A few weeks later, the siding team came to complete all new siding, trim, and gutters which took about a full week. Years ago I hired Roofs R Us to replace my dad's roof and add gutter covers. They did an excellent…read morejob. But the company changed hands since then. So when we needed new roofing, siding, gutters, gutter covers, facia and soffits I obtained several quotes. Erik didn't hesitate to come out to Farmington and quote the project. We had some "slick" salespeople and we had a guy that wouldn't give me a quote (he really didn't like women was my opinion) and would only deal with the insurance company. Erik was professional, honest and not "slick." The price was fair. My test is always the "warm and fuzzies." After a few meetings with Erik, he had my business. Then came the problems. Every color combo for all of the above items had items out of stock, discontinued or something. Erik made a lot of phone calls and several vendor trips. I have no idea how many combos we went through - probably 15 or so. Finally we found a combo that could be put together. YEAH!!!! Erik was patient through all of the "I hate neutrals" moments and several trips of holding colors against the house in different light. Roof install went well and then we had to wait 2 weeks for the siding. The siding installation was completed and they came back and fixed a couple of small items and we were done before Thanksgiving. Erik was around almost daily and even picked up extra FOD on his own. They installed our new lights and Ring cams too. Erik was easily reachable and kept on top of the project and kept me up to date. Very impressed. They were within $7 of the original quote (I think permit fees changed). Very happy and thankful that I selected Erik and Roofs R Us.
