If you're craving a sweet pastry in the morning or a desert in the afternoon, this is the spot. Boldú's little buddy pastries were great. They are on the sweeter side. It was a bit too much, but still enjoyable. Each pastry was about $3-$4 euro. My wife and I got a Nutty and an Original. The Nutty was stuffed with some sort of Nutella chocolate, and the original had some chocolate glaze on top and plain inside. We enjoyed them inside peacefully.

Sandwiches tasty. Pastries amazing ( calorie busting !). Service friendly and English speaking. Place to sit through the back. Overall a great place for breakfast or just a coffee stop

OMG!!! I don't think im gonna have the words to explain how much I enjoyed my really quick visit. Pros: Inviting window display, friendly staff, clean store, and sells more than just sweets. Cons: the two ladies got a bit of a rush and it just seemed to take a bit too long to complete some orders. A third lady joined them and helped move the line faster. Ok...I had just the plain glazed donuts. These were soft, fluffy, not overly sweet, and just plain good. I felt like these were homemade. I shared with my friends and they raved about it too. I will be back tomorrow ladies to get more than just two.

Boldu has the CUTEST pastries for sale. Oh my! We were a bit early for our excursion to wine country and knew we needed sustenance. Boldu was close to the travel agency and we had some time to grab a bite. To see all the "man" donuts was enjoyable! It was hard to pick just one. I got one with a chocolate dip and it was a tasty donut. Others got mini croissants and man donuts too. Coffee was delicious. Service is a bit slow and the staff are not the most fluent in English (or in pantomime), despite it being in the fashionable part of Barcelona. I highly recommend Boldu!

Boldú is a bakery chain that serves coffee, pastries, and little sandwiches. This particular location has a good amount of indoor seating, although it is a narrow establishment. The staff was nice. What lured me in was the donuts, shaped like a man, with different frostings. Called Boldúman, it's quite cute, but if it's covered in frosting it probably can be sweet. I got one that was only dipped at the top and bottom. The donut itself is not glazed too much, and the chocolate covering is not too sweet either. The donut was really soft, but thick and chewy. Overall, this should be a try at one of their many locales.

Don't be fooled by the cute little donut men in the window. Staff is rude and the food isn't very good either. I do not recommend.

After a dozen attempts to dial in the pour the staff was honest and upfront about the selection that it couldn't be made to their standards. Wow, love this! Instead of giving me my drink and rushing me out the door, it was all about the quality. Being new to espresso making at home I fully understand the 1:2 ratio in a specific amount of time for making espresso. I took their advice and went with another bean selection. My iced cafe latte was for take away and I thoroughly enjoyed the flavors. One thing to note for any Americans that expect sweetener, there is none here. I wasn't bothered by this but I could see many others might be. Looking back I wish I had bought some beans to bring back home to Cali.

Service was fast - order at the middle kiosk and wait for your drink. They have a few iced drinks available, and you can choose which 3-4 beans to make the drink with. We got the iced latte along with the shakerato. The shakerato had no milk, so you can definitely taste the beans/coffee flavor. As for the iced latte, it was definitely less better and slightly more sweet and creamy due to the milk. You still tasted a bit of the flavor of the coffee.

Caravelle is quaint and modern, and the service is definitely on the more lax side. Note: smaller parties may be seated at the communal table, and this place stays busy! Be prepared for a bit of a wait. I started with a café con leche, and although I'm not usually a sweets-for-breakfast kinda person, the croffle looked too enticing online to pass up. Being a huge egg aficionado, I also ordered a side of eggs à la carte. My coffee arrived quickly, but after waiting 30 minutes, I noticed that guests who had arrived after me were already enjoying their meals... When I checked in with the waiter, it turned out my order hadn't gone through at all. I had to reorder, and while waiting, I asked for another café con leche since I was long overdue for a refill. Unfortunately, that second coffee never came--but on the bright side, my meal eventually did. The croffle was freaking divine. Crispy/flakey on the outside, and soft inside. The cream was sweet, but not overpowering, and the tart of the berries balanced out the meal. As I was getting ready to check out, the waiter asked if I had ever received my second café con leche. Embarrassed for them, I admitted that I hadn't... Realizing they'd made ANOTHER mistake, he apologized profusely and quickly asked the barista to make me one to go. To compensate for my time and patience, he generously comped my entire meal, leaving me to pay only for the initial coffee (2.50 euros). Despite the service hiccups, the food was incredible--truly one of my favorite breakfasts in Spain.
