Many years ago, I discovered Bojangles in the Atlanta Airport. So, I was delighted when a few Bojangles opened in the Memphis, TN market. However, I was sorely disappointed when I discovered they did not offer bone-in chicken. Working in the Charlotte, NC area, I was delighted to find this Bojangles with a full menu and I pigged-out! I've never had an issue with my food order or the service at this location. Over the years, I've been here plenty especially at breakfast. Tonight it was Supremes Meal with slaw and macaroni & cheese for the sides. I did have to wait in the Curbside Pickup spot along with 2 others waiting but it wasn't that long and all of our orders came out at the same time. It's not that big of a deal to wait a few minutes when you order the Family-size meals and for those that don't like to wait there's the app to order ahead. I've never dined in so I cannot speak on the Dining area & atmosphere inside but every staff member that I encountered was professional and polite. This is the 3rd time I have reviewed this particulate restaurant and had hoped that there was improvement from the last time I was here. Sadly to say and the second review is almost a dead ringer for my experience today Ordered two steak biscuits and unsweetened tea which is the one Bojangles menu Item I do not like and basically considered it uneatable. There was also some chick and Cheerwine but definitely not what I ordered. Total was $16.41 which was substantially more that my original order. Called back and like last time, was told I could drive over and they would replace it. Like last time, I had a conference call 10 minutes so that as out of the question. Like last time, I sent a message to corporate but did not get a response from the last time, not expecting anyone to try and contact me. My last meal was about this time last night 24 hou5s without eat and a meal that I had paid for but was not worth eating. Based on track record, you can do a lot better that this restaurant. UPDATE (As of 16 February 2024) This is possibly the worst Bojangles' in the state of North Carolina. The fact remains they'll get your order wrong every now and then, with this being no exception. I was charged for two large teas, but received two medium teas instead, and to say I'm disappointed would be a considerable understatement, especially since I'm working 12-hour shifts during this time. To make matters worse, my delivery driver didn't do anything about this. Pathetic and technically a ripoff. If I could give this dump of a Bojangles' zero stars, there's no doubt in my mind I'd do it. If you love Bojangles, go and find one elsewhere. Statesville is one of the worst towns in North Carolina, after all. read more

We eat at bojangles often,usually a chicken biscuit but these last 2 wks we got some of the worst ever. Chicken not done. crumbling biscuit, I usually give hubby the best bread at times its 2 tops or 2 bottoms. So a few days ago our order was awful. Had a cpl raw places in the chicken but the biscuits were not even done. I made dough balls with mine. I started to roll them both and make pone bread. We haven't been back since this happened. They vape while cooking your food. don't use gloves have flys around the kitchen area. they don't wipe down materials ase they should even when clearly dirty people have got food poisoning from the undercooked chicken multiple time. Staff is ignorant. Have picked up food for the family twice this week, both times the order was wrong. Attempted to try and work out a correction with the staff after the second time and a female staff member had the most ignorant attitude I've ever experienced (date was 01/17/24). The two starts are for the food. The food was great and I thoroughly enjoyed it but... the service was horrible. First red flag was over the intercom. Tried ordering biscuits and got a mumbled response of "wait". Decided not to order them. Pulled up to the window and had my order repeated back to me so I knew it was right. After pulling up to the second window and receiving my ice tea I decided to taste to make sure it was sweet. Before I got to taste it I realized they only filled the cup 1/2 the way. I noticed this since I took off the cap after not receiving a straw to taste. I got it filled up and tasted it. Not sweet. Meanwhile this is happening we have not received our food. Probably waited up to 25 minutes after paying in a fast food drive through. Got my iced tea fixed and had to walk inside to receive my food since I was waiting so long. After work today I went to the Bojangles on Broad Street in Statesville. I was not prepared for what I received. When I got my two biscuits and two servings of dirty rice home, the bag was soaked with grease. The biscuits were greasy, but if you are hungry enough you can eat anything. Both of us threw our dirty rice out-it was inedible. To begin with it was a greenish color and very soupy. It had a consistency much like baby food-mush. It was quite literally the worst food I have ever purchased at a Bojangles anywhere. I'm not much good with online ordering. I guess I'm part of the generation that still uses phones for talking, and quarters for video games. Still...I decided to try a fairly large "to go" order online to pick up at this store. That was a mistake. What wasn't a mistake was calling this Bojangles for help! Every interaction I have had here has been above and beyond! Just a few minutes ago a young man named TJ cheerfully helped me straighten out a mess of my own making! He even took my phone number and proactively offered to call me if there were more problems with the online order. I expect to hear from him any minute now. TJ isn't the only person who has seemed solely focused on helping me have a great experience with Bojangle's. Now, about the food. Their biscuits are really good. I come from about 3 generations of people who make biscuits that are divinely inspired, so I know and can make biscuits that could heal the sick. When considering to dine with a fast food chain, expectations usually are not set with a five star mindset;however, basic requirements are generally expected. For example, greeting the customer and saying thank you or actually acknowledging their visit and purchase goes a long way with repeat or regular customers. It's sad to see local business lose customers and revenue due to the inability to appreciate customers and help them enjoy a great customer experience. A friend and went through drive-thru today and ordered two large teas. We waited in line nd paid (with a debit card) at window and was handed our teas. I noticed that neither drink had ice in them. I told the cashier and she yekked "YO" at a lady behind her which said the ice machine was broken. Having just enough time to get to the Doctor's appointment, we could not wait for a credit for the debit card and had to leave. While my friend was seeing the doctor, I called the manager of Bojangles and told her what happened, She confirmed the ice was broke. I asked "Why were we not told that when we placed the order"? Absolutely, hands down the worst Bojangles there is!! Wait times are horrendous, the fries are either cold, hard, and or over cooked so bad they are hollow. The chicken on the Cajun fillet sandwich or biscuit is so tough and over cooked you can't or don't want to eat it. The little girl working the drive thru has the personality of an eggplant and is just plain rude. If you look through the window into the kitchen it is filthy. I'm disappointed that this Bojangles' standard of cleanliness and appearance appears to be declining. During a recent visit through the drive thru I was surprised by the amount of trash and paper littered all throughout the parking lot and around the grounds of the building. Though the food quality met my expectations, I hope the neglect shown toward the parking lot and grounds is not a reflection of the kitchen. I had a horrible experience today at this location. The cashier was rude, my order was messed up and the bathrooms were nasty. The cashier messed up my order and when I told her that she had an attitude about it. I didn't get my fries in my supreme combo.
