UPDATE (As of 16 February 2024) This is possibly the worst Bojangles' in the state of North Carolina. The fact remains they'll get your order wrong every now and then, with this being no exception. I was charged for two large teas, but received two medium teas instead, and to say I'm disappointed would be a considerable understatement, especially since I'm working 12-hour shifts during this time. To make matters worse, my delivery driver didn't do anything about this. Pathetic and technically a ripoff. If I could give this dump of a Bojangles' zero stars, there's no doubt in my mind I'd do it. If you love Bojangles, go and find one elsewhere. Statesville is one of the worst towns in North Carolina, after all.

We eat at bojangles often, usually a chicken biscuit but these last 2 wks we got some of the worst ever. Chicken not done. crumbling biscuit, I usually give hubby the best bread at times its 2 tops or 2 bottoms. So a few days ago our order was awful. Had a cpl raw places in the chicken but the biscuits were not even done. I made dough balls with mine. I started to roll them both and make pone bread. We haven't been back since this happened. Do better cooks. I get y'all work hard, I worked in a restaurant for over 20 years. I get y'all are underpaid but when you keep putting bad food out you are taking money from your self too. D

This doesn't look like any "dirty rice" I've ever gotten at a Bojangles.

Pretty good. Great biscuits and dirty rice. They gave me thighs instead of breasts. Small pieces but tasty.

We arrived just in the nick of time before their 2pm closing time during the weekday. My friends were acquainted with the server and the owner. Our server was very friendly and welcomed and thanked me for giving them a try. After we all finished chatting she took our drink order. We were all indecisive about our selection since there were many delicious items to select. They 3 of my friends decided to try something they hadn't tried yet. It was all to me so it was hard to select immediately. But, I finally decided on the Strawberry Grilled Cheese sandwich and side selection was the orzo with spinach. Our orders arrived and we sampled each others sandwiches. I did like the strawberry grilled cheese. I didn't think it would pair well, but I was wrong. I thought the same about the Fig Grilled Sandwich. I think I will have that next time. Or I might try some of the other interesting Grilled Sandwiches. The orzo dish was a refreshing dish and went well with the sandwich. This place is decorated cute and it is spacious inside with booth and table seatings available. My friends told me it is busy on the weekends. Our visit was on a Friday. It could have been very busy earlier but when we were seated there were plenty of tables available. This town is quaint, all brick buildings. Be sure you pay attention to the signs where you park. Parking patrol is always patrolling the area. I would definitely return come check them out.

Great food- everyone more than satisfied. Outdoor seating. Could use a better cup of coffee, but…read moreotherwise brilliant. Will return on my next trip through Statesville!

I got the large BBQ tray with pulled pork, hushpuppies, and white slaw (because white slaw is obviously the correct choice) plus fried cream corn nuggets after my girlfriend recently turned me onto them. Randy's feels like it's been serving the same loyal customers longer than I've been alive. I actually did a double take when I saw a sign saying they accept personal checks. I'm sorry... what year is it? The pork was good though not life-changing, not something I'm asking Santa for at Christmas, but solid / familiar NC BBQ. The white slaw was damn near perfect: finely chopped, fresh, and just needed a little more sweetness and creaminess for me. The hushpuppies were fried balls of heaven, and the corn nuggets were awesome too. My only real complaint: $22 for lunch. Guys... come on. I understand BBQ takes time and effort, but pulled pork isn't gold. A few ounces of pork and a handful of hushpuppies shouldn't have me checking my credit score afterward. Overall, I liked Randy's... it was an old-school BBQ joint with excellent sides and clearly a loyal following. Would I stop again if I'm in Statesville? Absolutely. Would I drive out of my way for it? Probably not. Would I enjoy paying $22 again? Definitely not.
