Absolutely disgusting service!!! I waited 30 minutes for my food. Then the order was wrong. So went in to get the missing items of two apple pies and cheeseburger. The staff was an unorganized mess. They were basically walking around looking like they were lost and clueless. When I explained I was missing half my order, the members of staff I was dealing with became rude and just glaring at me when they walked by. (I could see if I was rude to them but I wasn't. I said i realized that mistakes happens and just want what I paid for.) I had to wait so long to get my missing food the rest of my order was cold. I finally asked to speak to a manager and was waved off. I sent in a complaint to McDonald's but they evidently have so many issues with this location they don't care. I will never go back here. Doesn't matter how many times I go in there, this store is ridiculous! The managers hide over a drive-through. They are worried about their wait times over there and the customers over there. They don't even look up or acknowledge customers on Frontline. They don't care anything about DOORDASH orders on front line. I see managers yelling at the crew! I don't know the manager's name , maybe Arnet but she has the most hateful attitude that I have seen in a long time. And she does not belong in management or much less work with customer service. I don't know who the manager is of the store, but I don't see anything being done and I have complained many times about the store and I have complained about her. She will look at you from the drive-through area and not even come over there or acknowledge you and she stands over there by the fry station, running her mouth to the employees and yelling and screaming at them, but she still won't even come out of drive through area and acknowledged customers. read more

Review based solely on the locations posted hours and hours on app were for one time and the actual hours of the store were something completely different. Placed a mobile order and showed up to pick it up, sat at drive thru several minutes and finally pulled around and got someone's attention. She said they closed 30 minutes ago and the app would refund the order after the don't pull it up and I guess after the actual closing time on the app. Refund for our food will take 7-10 days now and we had to go drive 10 minutes out of the way to a different McDonald's and couldn't use the coupon we had in the app because it can only be used once "per visit" so we got charged at this one and then had to pay more to go somewhere else when they weren't accepting orders, but the app said they were. So no food to review or anything, but the review is based on the interaction and the restaurant owner needing to fix their hours online if they aren't open as late as it says they are. read more

Very clean and organize McDonalds. Chicken nuggets and McMuffin are very consistent. Dinning area close late too, I think they close at 11pm, which is good for people traveling at night since this location is not that far from the highway I-77. I missed the 90s,2000s style Mcdonalds. I ordered 2 sausages egg and cheese McMuffins. I used the mobile app. Later I opened the sandwiches up to eat them, we noticed that there was no egg on either sandwich. The McDonalds location told me they will make sure the egg is on the next order. Reported it to Corporate McDonalds and heard nothing. That is not good customer service. read more

Went here with a medium large group for a school trip and they were able to serve us and get us our food pretty dang fast, food was also good and what would be expected from any other McDonald's. More bacon than I payed for on my MC griddle which is always nice. This particular McDonald's store is one of their early seventies stores. I worked in this store from 1977 till 1979. The store appears to have remodeled at least once. Could use a refresh now. The restroom was clean and well stocked. The wait to have my order taken was short and the service matched what I have seen in the last decade. The products were hot and tasted like what I expect from McDonald's. I do think a little more attention could be paid to their lobby areas. The tables needed attention, the floor needed swept and mopped. Not sure if the same people own this particular store. The owners in the 70s were fanatical about cleanliness. Does still appear to be doing a brisk business through drive thru. But lobby was pretty much empty. read more

At least the service is fast. Statesville is notorious for fast food chain restaurants who don't know how to manage drive throughs in a timely fashion. This one does but at a price. What they have done is station an employee with wireless radio outside in the drive through lane. They are standing in front of a board with the specials they are trying to promote and they go ahead and take your order. Problem is the Board is not all inclusive and only includes their most pricy offerings. A great concept in upselling. Would not be a bad idea and well worth the patrons time and money if the food was any good. Had a grilled Chicken Sandwich with Fries and Tea. The bill was just under $7.00 and the Chicken had the taste and consistency of cardboard. I don't mind paying this amount for my lunch if the food is good which in this case, was not. Also this approach limits the customer's options unless they already know what they want in advance. Service gets an A but everything else needs work. read more

C'mon now, Traci can't be the only one who knows, right? But seriously, Traci made this reference to a "slip" when our kiosk pin pad failed to function. Did she ask for it politely? Survey says...NOPE! Ultimately, I explained our order number and tag number. But oh no no, this just didn't cut it for 'ole Traci. Visited this particular location on Signal hill today not even 15 mins ago.... Sorry but not sorry.... This was the fucking worse service ever! The guy taking orders sounds like he's rushing you.....the young lady taking the money had no knowledge what so ever about the products they sell or what comes on the particular sandwich. Evidently the person preparing the sandwiches has no knowledge on what they are fixing and the difference. McDonalds - quick and expectations are what they are. Service at this particular location isn't great, but again, there's an expectation set by an international chain that says "Come to McDonald's and you know exactly what you're going to get." if i could give zero stars i would. sat at the pull up window for 20 minutes, girl had to come and ask for our receipt because she zeroed out our order (ordered on the app). then brought a cookie tote and goes "oh never mind" (she mumbled the entire interactions) then i go inside, stood there for about 5 minutes, then a young boy and girl come around the corner and are holding a bag and the girl says "they're not there anymore" then the boy looks around, makes eye contact with me three times, and shrugs his shoulders and put it down. never once asked me what i needed or if it was my food. then i said "excuse me, i've been outside waiting for 20 minutes waiting for my food and i was just wondering where it was at" he then yanks the bag up and hands it to me without saying a word, no apology, no smile, nothing. also the food is cold. will not be coming back, they need to stop hiring teenagers with no personality or common sense. read more

Arrived at this location to order breakfast to go for the family as we traveled back upstate. After ordering, I went to the car to divide the food, and we noticed that the 2 hashbrowns I ordered were missing. Went back in and told one of the cashiers who politely listened to me, took a quick look at my reciept, placed 2 hash browns in a bag and added an apple pie just for the trouble of having to come back in. That was very nice of them! Aside for the missing item, the food came out within 3-4 minutes from ordering. Oh, and this location has a playground if anyone was wondering. read more

I do not go out for fast food often Went here 10 days ago & when I got home after running errands all day, discovered the Bacon Cheeseburger I bought was missing the hamburg patty. Granted they are pretty puny but for $1.99 I do not think this was too much to ask. So today I am out running errands again & stop by this McDonalds. Cashier can not help me, gets manager who then tells me come back tomorrow when GM there. No apology, no money, & no one asked how they could make it right to keep my business. Customer service here is by far the worst I have ever seen in a McDonald's. Went through the drive through at around 11:45pm and when I got to the screen to order, they let me sit there waiting for ten minutes instead of saying they're closed. There were three cars in front of me, yet they didn't have the decency to respond and let me know that was the last order. Their morning shift isn't much better. Between them giving you lip for telling them the breakfast menu isn't up, and the ones inside at the counter telling you what you're going to do, this place is a waste. Having visited this McDonald's quite regularly, it is particularly slow compared to others in neighboring areas. I try to frequent other McDonald's in the area, but this is the only one in East Statesville. I typically go during breakfast or lunch. The drive thru line is usually out to the street, even during mid-morning or early lunch hours. And the drive thru line typically moves very slowly. You may have better service going inside. This McDonald's is one of the few "older" ones still around and there is minimal parking. Most of the other neighboring McDonald's have been remodeled and are very nice. Order accuracy is sometimes an issue. Recently they failed to give us our juice boxes with our happy meals. Another morning I ordered two hash browns and only received one. East Statesville could use a more modern McDonald's with faster, more accurate service. read more

So just went to the NEW McDonald's by Signal Hill in Statesville....one car at the window when I drove up to order my large fries. Two drive through lanes and the pay first window was open. Paid at the first window and proceeded to get my much needed Mickey D's fix of fries....then was told to pull ahead and wait???? Then after I said I would not because I had only ordered a large fries ($2.34 mind you) I was treated like I was interfering with the one car that had pulled in behind me. The attendant said she had customers behind me and told me again to pull forward. I pointed out that it was 5pm and that they probably had ordered fries also...she stuttered...closed the window and then 20 seconds later I received a bag of fries served with spite and no napkins,ketchup, or kindness. Pity the person that spent SOOO much money trying to create a great NEW McDonald's on Signal Hill....and staff it with SOOO rude of a staff. I shall go to the other McDonald's in Statesville from now on...at least there I do not bother the staff. read more

I went to the store on hwy 64, 90 in Statesvile sunday morning about 9am. When I walked in there was no one at the counter waiting on customers. there was two young ladies standing beside the new machines to order food. I do like the new machines as they are not user friendly, so I went to the counter. I stood there for a minute and one of them ask if I would like to order and I said not at the machine. They just stood there looking at me and would not come to the counter to take my order. So I figured they did not want my business so I turned around and left. I will not be going back to this store anymore. I have already quit using the one in Yadkinville for this same reason. There are to many others who want my business. read more

We've been grossed out by quite a few places on this trip literally skipping them over after walking in the doors. This location was a relief. Wouldn't even give this a star at all. Took my little sisters here for ice cream, one of them wanted the chocolate dipped cone. I know some locations don't have them or they don't sell them at all but I asked just to be sure. I said " hello, I was wondering if you guys have the chocolate dipped cone" and he/she replied annoyed with " WHAT ELSE. " so just like any other person would, I continued my order because they made it seem like they had them. Once I got to the second window to get the Ice cream , he handed me a vanilla ice cream cone ( not chocolate dipped) I said " this is suppose to be chocolate dipped" & he said " we don't have that anymore" , i replied with " maybe you guys should say that at the window instead of saying immediately " what else" , I took the ice cream, hoping my sister would still want it , and I drove off. He is lucky that I didn't get my refund for it because I would of had a lot more to say. He didn't say anything, he was left speechless after I said that. I stop in at McDonalds almost every morning for a cup of coffee. If the drive threw line is long I go in. This morning I went in and waited 5-7 minutes just to order. their was only one person behind the counter taking orders while 5-6 people waited. 5-7 minutes doesn't sound long when your at work!! Anyways when I finally was next in line, I ordered and while I waited an older gentleman approached the counter with 2 apple pies and told the "manager'" (girl w/blue collar shirt, possibly shift manager) that he ordered strawberry and not apple. The young lady taking orders (again only one) shouted "you ordered apple, I heard apple". the manager told the man there was an upcharge and he said "but I ordered strawberry and already paid"!!!!....The "manager" turned around and was CLEARLY mocking, talking crap and shaking her head while she was talking to another manager !!!! My coffee was finally up (8-10 min). The same "manager" handed me my coffee and I said to her "regardless weather his right or wrong you should talk shit about customers" !!! She turned to the other manager and again they had some words..I just walked away. To be clear I visit this McDonalds almost daily and I see this man and his buddies in there every time I go in, its like a senior citizen hang out..Love seeing it !!!
