It was a guilt-free, satisfying meal. My husband ordered the Smoked Gouda Truffle Fries from the appetizer menu. They were more than enough for a meal. The bread to meat ratio was off. There's some serious cost cutting going on. The spouse enjoyed the hot dog. The meat to bread ratio was better with this item. The service was great. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The place feels like a pub. The music a little loud and the place smells like dirty mop water. The food is ok, nothing to get overly excited about. But the service, wow that is what really brings this place down. Obviously if you are a regular, then you are well taken care of. This is a neat little burger place/bar. Very clean, but worn in a comfy way. There is an upstairs, but I still haven't been up there yet. The workers here are super friendly and helpful. We've tried a variety of things, and they've all been good. Wings, wrap, beef burger and turkey burger have all been cooked well, and quite tasty. Portions are just right too. What we really enjoy is a very large selection of tap and canned/bottled North Carolina craft beers. Priced reasonably and delicious. We've been surprised at how many breweries are here. Stopped here to enjoy a dinner and some drinks while visiting with friends. We like to go places we don't get at home, so this was a good choice. We were seated upstairs and out of the way which was nice since our toddler likes to throw things on the floor. The service was friendly. I ordered the blueberry mule and it was absolutely delicious. This restaurant also has an excellent selection of craft beer on tap. I enjoyed the Sycamore Blonde Ale with my lunch.
