I had read previous reviews mentioning potential racist behavior from the hostess, so I was a little on edge since my girlfriend is Puerto Rican. Thankfully, we didn't experience anything like that-- we were seated promptly and given menus right away. My girlfriend ordered a Berry Mojito, which she enjoyed, while I stuck with water. I went with the Black-N-Bleu Burger, and honestly, it was fantastic--easily the highlight of the meal. My side of cauliflower mash was decent, not amazing but acceptable. My girlfriend's steak wrap, however, didn't hit the mark. It looked sloppily assembled and didn't have much flavor. Her mac and cheese had a nice cheesy top layer, but everything underneath was pretty bland. So while I really enjoyed my meal, she didn't enjoy hers at all, which made the overall experience feel pretty uneven. Service also played a part in the rating. Our waitress wasn't very friendly and came across as standoffish or even slightly rude. I overheard her telling another table she'd worked there for over 10 years, so maybe it was just an off day--but it still affected the vibe. Overall, a mixed experience. My burger alone was five-star worthy, but the rest of the food and the service were memorable for the wrong reasons--hence the three stars.

We came around 3, so we were pretty much the only ones there and the staff were super attentive and friendly. I'm unfortunately not giving 5 stars because there was a piece of bone in my steak wrap, and it was really alarming at first. I thought I was going to break a tooth. The second reason is that my French fries had virtually no flavor, and were all cut to varying thickness, some of them being almost too thick to enjoy because it was just a mouthful of bland potato. I ended up using a lot of the pepper and salt on the table, and it helped, but they still lacked crispiness that I'd hoped for. My steak had great flavor though and the wrap itself was very good (save for the piece of bone), I know that's not really their fault, but I have to note it anyway. I'd still be more than happy to come back and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone in the area.

I was getting my car serviced around lunchtime at the dealership next-door and thought, "Why not? I'll swing in and have a quick and easy lunch." I got a wedge salad and a hamburger. The hamburger was actually pretty good. The wedge had all the components correct but it was just so much lettuce. I love a wedge! I get them anytime I can. They just need to edit this one a little bit. $22 with tip. They also have a military and first responder discount, which is fantastic! I'm sure I'll be back because my wife loves a blooming onion, but I'm not going out of the way to come back myself. That's not reflective of this outback by the way. That's all Outback steakhouses.

Our wait was only about 20 mins, and the weather was lovely so we didn't mind at all. They have a nice outdoor seating area with music playing. Once we were seated, our waitress was there right away to take our drink orders. I have to give a special shoutout to our server, Amanda, for being fantastic in every way and going above and beyond for us! She was super friendly and consistently attentive. We had a gift card, and when she noticed it was a special kind, she stopped to offer us guidance on how to use it which was extremely helpful. She noticed us struggling before we even had a chance to ask her for assistance. As for our meal, we started with the bloomin' onion (duh) which is always great, and of course the rye bread. I ordered a new menu item, the chimichurri filet which comes with bloomin onions and 2 sides. I had a loaded baked potato and house salad. Everything was exceptional, my steak was cooked perfectly! My husband had the prime rib, and his steak was unfortunately pretty overcooked. I tried a piece and even the aus jus couldn't save it.

Definitely worth the drive about an hour and 10 mins from kernersville. Please check them out, service was fast and ladies were very friendly. They made me some fresh pineapple juice.
