Food is always good But service is lacking. Almost every time we are overcharged. It doesn't matter that it's only $0.65 or whatever but every time. Management says "mistakes happen" which is true but every time? Sounds more like ownership is taking an extra cut from unsuspecting customers. read more

First time for us to ever go to a Bojangles. While visiting family, our daughter in law suggested a quick stop and chose this location. I was pleasantly surprised. Much better than I had anticipated and glad we stopped. The service people were very nice and efficient. The inside looked cleaned and cared for. We had breakfast sandwiches and the cutest little hash brown fried potatoes. We will stop again when traveling since we don't have any of these restaurants locally. read more

Up North our Bojangles "equivalent" is Popeyes and lately Popeyes been slacking. Service, food and pricing. I liked both visits on two separate locations AND occasions. The service was no frills but polite. The family meal while it sounds like a little, in the box you get chicken- sized- chicken pieces, the biscuits are hot and moist, and it comes in the cute Bojangles box that can fit your half gallon iced tea. So, I whole heartedly recommend for a party of 4-5 ppl, given your appetites. My other trip mates loved the iced tea and we could all agree that the sides were amazing. The coleslaw was just right in flavor. And again the biscuits were soft and big. French fries were wedges and not too salty. My con is that they charge for additional dressing but don't make sure that their putting the extra dressing their charging you for in the bag. I also didn't see any jam for the biscuits, but I won't nag. Moreover, the sauces they give are big and round enough to dip a chicken breast pieces in and still have some sauce for a drumstick! Crazy the state of fast food in 2023. I try to get fast food once every few months, and you wait 15-20 mins behind two people, then you don't get all of what you ordered, and the food you do get is terrible. This next generation of young workers has ruined so many good places because they can't do the bare minimum of their job requirements. read more

Usually, Bojangle's is one of my favorite fast food stops. I couldn't wait to share the obsession with my friend who had never tried the chain before. Unfortunately, this location's product fell dramatically short. While the store itself is shiny and new -- and the staff members were really sweet, I couldn't actually bite into the fried chicken sandwich. It was like attempting to bite into a piece of rubber. It was also mostly breading without chicken too. If we weren't driving up 95 by the time I noticed as much, I would've requested a replacement sandwich. Safe to say mine got tossed after I gave up on chewing it. Meh. My love for Bojangle's remains the same, but I'll probably inspect my sandwiches in the future to ensure they're actually edible. read more

Hmm the woman that took our order was super rude and rushed us. The place is clean, but that's beside the point. I ordered a 3pc chicken tenders and they gave me the most skinny piece that was ready in literally 2 seconds. Like where did they pull this out of. I just went to ask if I could change it and she just says " that's the size " and does nothing about it. No money back no nothing. We're going to do a live review, as in, I'm actually sitting in the line. Posted hours say the place closes at 11 on Friday nights, but the doors were locked when I pulled up at 9:55 and they were turning customers away from inside. After sitting here 20 minutes I finally called the store to see if they were completely closed or what, and apparently they are just closed for dine in. Progress! I moved up a car length after 20 minutes! We'll see if there's a full menu when I actually get to place an order, if that happens. We're at 30 minutes, but I'm pretty set on some chicken and biscuits or I would have left. 35 minutes later and the light on the menu board just got turned off. I have a feeling everyone is going to get turned away without a manager coming out and explaining or anything. Let's see... Alright, order taken 45 minutes after pulling into the drive thru. Had to repeat myself twice. I'm sure the girl is new, but when she repeated my order, it was completely wrong. No big. I ordered a 2 piece dinner with 1 fixin' and asked for a leg and a thigh with Mac and cheese and a Dr. Pepper. Let's see what I get and how long it takes to get it. Final verdict. Got the food 10 minutes later, so total time was 55 minutes. I ended up with a leg, a thigh, dirty rice, and a tea, so they got my order 50% right. Overall not super excited about this experience, and undecided over whether I'll be going back or not. read more

My daughter and I have a special connection to Bojangles going back to a Myrtle Beach softball tournament about 4 years ago. On our recent trip to Richmond our GPS took us WAY out of the way to get around traffic and lo and behold there was a Bojangles. She got a chicken tenders meal with an extra biscuit and I got a two-piece with a side of cole slaw. I've always loved the biscuits here ever since my first taste back in the late 80s. I'm also a big fan of the spiciness of their chicken-so so very good!!! The staff here was friendly, the place was clean, and the food was good. Can't ask for much more than that! read more

I was picking up my little brother from school and both of us were hungry since we hadn't had lunch yet. We saw Bojangles and decided to try it out since it was new to us both. My brother had the chicken tenders combo and I got the Cajun chicken biscuit meal. Both came with fries and a drink. I was disappointed that the chicken was not fresh and vey dry. The fries were cold and tasted like they were sitting out all day long. I was surprised because many of my friends have said a lot of good things about Bojangles and how crunchy and fresh the chicken was. I gave 2 stars because the employees were really nice and the customer service was great. However, I was let down by their food. I hope it was just an off day.... read more

Updated review: We came back from Woodbridge because of the great experience we had a few weeks ago. Did I go to the same restaurant? The person on the speaker kept repeating everything I said back wrong, and ordering was a challenge. I ordered an order of homestyle tenders (4), a tender combo (4), 2 value cheesy melt sandwiches, 6 bo biscuits, 2 sides of rice and a half gallon of tea. I had a coupon for a free half gallon of tea. When I go to pay they say they can't accept the coupon that was emailed to me, because they had no way to scan the barcode or enter in the coupon code. I asked how someone would redeem it then, and they said go home and print it out, who in 2020 does this?! I definitely was not rude, I just said it's ok, and paid $50 for that order. The staff was incredibly rude about everything, especially the coupon. When I got home they left out some items like the drink to my combo, and biscuits that come with the entrees. And somehow the top to the tea even though technically sealed, was pulled up in the corner, and the entire half gallon spilled all over the back of the car. The way it was done definitely looked intentional, and I paid no problem! The tenders were old, stale, extremely shriveled, and grisly. They went right to the trash. The bo biscuits had definitely been sitting a while, the last time they offered to make us a fresh batch. The chicken sandwich was literally the worst I've ever had in my whole life. It was about 1/4 inch thick, super tough, rubbery, had gristle, and the cheese sauce definitely tasted off. My whole $50 meal went to the trash. I definitely won't be making anymore special trips from Woodbridge for this train wreck! We drove down from Woodbridge because my daughter really wanted to try Bojangles. We ordered a 3 piece meal, strips, a salad, rice, Mac and cheese, and bo berry biscuits. The food was amazing. The tenders were the best I've had at a fast food place, and I loved the rice and Mac and cheese. My daughter loved her chicken and the sides as well, and my mom really enjoyed her salad. The bo berry biscuits are worth the drive alone. They made them fresh for us, and they were amazing. Everyone working there was very friendly, our order was accurate, and everything was fresh. Stopped here on the way to Norfolk. It was around lunchtime and traffic was backed-up for hours all around the area. They only had the drive-thru open so lots of cars were coming and going. I was amazed at how fast the line moved. The 5 cars ahead of us were gone in under 3 minutes. We got our order super fast and everything was right. Also the staff were really nice and courteous. I live close so I as excited when they were building this Bojangles. However, I stopped in many times when they first opened ending up with biscuits I couldn't finish. Recently during the trip to Lowe's, the aroma was too much to resist. So, I stopped in. I had sausage and egg biscuit and it was delicious. I was so excited to have a Bojangles near me know. I went in expecting great food and service like in NC and SC but this was the opposite. I have went in twice now and both times the food has been cold and one time I could not even finish it. I am not used to a Bojangles being this bad. For what it is, it is everything you expect but better cause its hot and fresh and crispy! The staff is friendly, accommodating, and just a pleasure to interacted with. The food is fast, the chicken is juicy, the bo-tatoes are still my favorite even though they are thick and boiled in grease, it's the kind of meal your body craves after a good evening of fun and shenanigans with friends. The inside is cleaner than most fast food restaurant, there looks to be some pride in this establishment. Almost didn't stop here but so glad I did because it's way better than all the other chicken fast food joints. :) Just so you know. Pepsi products. :( read more

I know they are new but things have calmed down now, yet they are still 30 to 40 mins, with getting the food out (to the dine in people). Went again last night and people were lined up, waiting for food, all around the front of the restaurant. They didnt give receipts so you had to remember your order number. I saw workers taking their time. Only one lady was in fast gear, but the others were putting food together, like sandwiches, in slow motion. One female worker just stood there with her fingers in her mouth and pockets, like she was confused, as others walked around her to get some food out at least. They need someone to take control there, I'm sorry to say. Also, it was cold out but they had the a/c maxed out and it was freezing. Many were complaining around me about this, as was my hubby and me. I had to ask four times for them to turn the a/c off or maybe even put some heat on. There is no much needed music playing, and sadly, they have two tv's hanging. I hope they don't turn them on, as nothing is more annoying when eating dinner. Many shows that play on those tv's are upsetting news or boxing matches, or other things that may put people in a bad mood or effect you trying to have conversation. Maybe put the Tv's on a nice music channel (not rap or hip hop either please. Too much of that in many of these stores, that are run by kids.) The dark meat chicken that I had was bland, tough and dry. but the biscuits are the best anywhere. The other day, I had their egg and cheese biscuit and that too was wonderful. read more

I was FINALLY able to go through the drive through. Months after opening this place has been PACKED every time I try to eat here! I ordered the three piece wing meal (Cajun) with the mashed potatoes/gravy and the pinto beans. My daughter had the kids chicken nugget meal with a side of the Mac and cheese. We also ordered a two pack of the no berry biscuits. On another occasion I ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich which comes with fries. I am a Popeyes lover but this chicken is really good! Great spice and cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes/gravy were just ok, but the pinto beans were excellent! My daughter loved her chicken nuggets and kept talking about how good the Mac and cheese was! The no berry biscuits were really good - make sure you eat them warm! The Cajun chicken sandwich was really really good and the fries are delish. I deducted a star because for this being a brand new location both times I have visited the staff seams stressed, annoyed, and relatively unfriendly. read more

Our trip to the local Bojangles was a spur of the moment one, and it didn't disappoint. We are not big fast food eaters, but we were impressed with our trip today. We each received the Cajun biscuit combo and they were cooked perfectly. They were able to accommodate our changes and were courteous and made sure we had everything we needed. My husband and I drive 30 minutes in traffic to come to this location only! There is no Bojangles near us. However, we also have the best experience and great hospitality with the most comforting food! The owner, Jeffery is absolutely amazing and has a great staff working with him.
