Typical fast food experience. Something quick and easy on my return trip to Florida from Washington, DC. Very convenient to I-95 on the south side of the street. Christopher was our cashier. 2 meals ordered - a large Classic Double Cheeseburger meal and a small 5 piece Chicken Tender meal. Sprite with the cheeseburger and Coke with the chicken tenders. The best part of the meal was finding the meal complete. Sauces for the chicken tenders and Ketchup for the French Fries. It was a wonderful experience finding everything in the bag. Nothing special to report. Pictures attached - meal was okay. My daughter and I stopped at Hardee's as it's a restaurant not available where we live in South Florida. When traveling, I try to stop at places that are different or not available at home. Christopher the cashier was fast and courteous. /s/ William E. Lewis Jr., Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Stopped here on a drive. I love Hardee's burgers, and I also love California burger joints and Hardees is related to the Carl's Jr. chain. My favorite burger is the Mushroom Swiss, and Hardees now also serves the freshly hand dipped chicken tenders made to order. Oh yeah. Place is a bit dumpy, but I didn't come for the ambiance. Also, they bring your order over to your table.

Not much to say, it's Hardees. ::shrugs:: This was my first time actually eating at Hardees and I have to say it was ok. Nothing too exciting but still worth a review. This is your typical fast food joint, which I don't even eat much of, but my boyfriend wanted a quick bite before we went grocery shopping so I tried it out. Entering the place, it wasn't that clean and the table we sat at had a weird, funky smell. Ugh! All I could think is "WHY AM I HERE" then I looked over at my sexy boyfriend and his rugged beard and STILL thought, "WHAT THE F*** AM I HERE DOING HERE?" ha ha ha. Anyways, I decided, hey if I'm going to be fat, I might as well go all out. I ordered the Monster breakfast sandwich and it was ok, but I couldn't even finish it. There was entirely too much meat on there (sausage, ham, & bacon) & I just felt a heart attack coming on. The hash browns are typical. But the one thing I do like and the only reason I would come back is for those blueberry biscuits!!! Mmmm Mmmm Mm. My mouth is watering right now. Those are a must try! The customer service was ok; the girl at the register had no facial expression at all. Kinda freaked me out. I mean damn, I would rather you look mad then "serial killer emotionless". All in all, Hardees, it was a one-time thing for us. I think we should see other people. I may call you once a year for those delicious, succulent, blueberry iced biscuits, but that is all you are good for. Ta-Ta! Favs: Those blueberry biscuits!!! Would Change: Hmmmm it was not as clean as I would like and the customer service was lacking.

What can I say? It's Hardee's...they have awesome biscuit breakfast sandwiches. But what made the visit more awesome, they were passing out Hardee's temporary tattoos! An eagle made out of burgers and biscuits! Just amazing!

Eating at Hardee's hearkens back to my childhood when I used to visit the Tidewater area where my grandfather and great-grandfather lived. I always associate Hardee's with the "south". Every now and then I get to southern Delaware for a visit too. We were on our way back from Florida and I requested we dine here for our break. It was the stop from hell to be certain, but none of it had to do with the restaurant. We had cheeseburgers, fries, and a beverage. I was pleased with it all. Hardee's is a half-step up from McDonald's. The fries were quite tasty. The restaurant was busy and clean. Service was prompt and courteous.

We were able to order whatever drink we wanted on the menu. For food, they brought trays out buffet style. We tried a variety of things. The star of the show was the Brussels sprouts. They were cooked to perfection and had a great sweet sauce. I enjoyed the salad too. They also brought out wings, mini burgers, mini fried chicken sandwiches, and tuna. Some were overcooked, but the flavor was nice. The seating was a bit awkward for a group our size in the private room, but we made it work. It was nice how casual it was.

We were seated right away on their patio, which was very cozy with heaters and fire pits. The menu sounded great and they had a lot of featured brunch items that were a little fancier. I went with the sausage, egg, and cheese on English muffin with a side of cheesy grits. Our food came out pretty quickly, but one of the sandwiches was wrong, which they fixed right away. The sandwich was basic but tasty, and adding hot sauce made it even better. I loved the cheesy grits - they were more coarse than other grits I've had but I still really liked them. I had a few bites of Nate's sandwich, the New Jersey sunrise (Taylor ham, home fries, two fried eggs and American cheese), which was very hearty and tasty. Service was decent, they were pretty busy so we did have to ask for a few things, but we had a nice time. I'm putting this spot on my list of places to revisit when we're back in the area.

They had some seasonal drinks that we tried, which were good, but we really loved some of their staples like the rose quarts spritz and the London fog sour. I ordered the London Fog Sour, the classic crab dip, and the birria eggrolls. The London Fog Sour might honestly be one of my favorite cocktails I've had downtown--I loved it so much I ordered a second one. I'll be going back just for that drink. The crab dip was its usual reliable, delicious self, and the birria eggrolls were flavorful and packed with meat. Our server was fantastic and helped us decide which small plates to try. We stopped in for their Mother's Day brunch thinking it would be a great way to sample a variety of items, but unfortunately the experience didn't match the price or expectations. The positives first, service was good overall, the staff and our server was friendly enough. The beer selection was easily the highlight of the visit. Even as casual beer drinkers, we could appreciate the variety they offered, and the flights are a great option for anyone wanting to explore different styles. The food and buffet itself, however, was disappointing. The eggs were mass-produced and had an odd flavor, the roast was dry and fatty, the sausage had an odd texture, and the mac and cheese was soggy. Most of the other items were just average, and nothing really stood out. Unfortunately most of the family wasn't a fan wasn't able to finish or eat, with most of kids left hungry, which was frustrating considering what we paid per person. That alone made the experience feel underwhelming. We may give the regular menu a try someday, but based on the buffet quality, our expectations are definitely lower now. Overall, we'd come back for the beer and atmosphere, but we'll likely pass on the food moving forward.
