We are from out of town and at 5pm, expected there not to be a crowd but not expecting it completely empty either. Stood for a while waiting for someone to seat us as sign says to wait. Finally went to the counter and lady took us to a table. Took our drink orders. Told they did not have Mt. Dew on fountain, only in bottles. I chose just to get a Pepsi. Placed our order of bread sticks and Med pizza. Was told bread sticks come in 10 or 20. WOW. Our home place does 5 or 10 but OK. They come out as 5 longs cut in half to make 10....... Now it makes sense. Another couple come in so now 4 in the restaurant. They seem to do a LOT of drive through pick up business. Pizza arrives, A lot less sausage on it than we would normally see at home. If bacon was on it, I may could have counted the pieces. Peperoni same, very little. We asked for napkin and waitress advised they did not have any but could bring us some paper towels which she quickly did. We noticed no table had pepper shakers on them. Asked and she again said they were out but could bring us pepper in the little paper bag things like take out has. I did not ask but it seems as if a delivery truck had not come in some time or someone failed to place order for stock. Since we only come here once a year, will see what 2026 brings.

I began by telling him I was gluten free and the first thing he said was they have a gluten free bun. He then asked if I wanted him to fire up the designated gluten free fryer, though it would add a few minutes to the time (in reality it only added 2-3 minutes). He went over all the items that could be GF and how it could be done. Even the burritos could be done as bowls. He was able to modify the burger with mozzarella and marinara sauce instead of fried breaded mozzarella. It was wonderful! The handcut fries were yummy. They have a condiment/salsa bar too. Before leaving, I suggested that they put on their menu somewhere that GF options are available. He told me when they started, one kid was coming in weekly needing a GF bun. They tested many buns until they found this one that holds up well. We thought it tasted like a potato roll and was thrilled that it did not crumble at all!! Also plenty of vegetarian and adventurous options! We will definitely be back!
