I've tried several places this year for crawfish including Buffalo Run Wolfies in The Woodlands The Draft Woodsons Big Cab's crawfish Bubbas Tj's Cajun By far my favorite so far has been Boiler room, food is great and service is amazing. I love that I can just call up and get Jamie to take my order and see her when I pick up. Love the spice and the butter. Shrimp is also amazing over all they have it all going on. Went to this place the other day and had their 5lb special for $40 to go. I called ahead of time to place my order and the staff was very friendly and informative when taking my order. They gave me an accurate wait time of 30 minutes which was pretty close. We arrived their a little early and checked in. They brought out directly to our car. When we got home I was a tad disappointed that they didn't include the butter, spices, and mushrooms I asked for but it wasn't a deal breaker for me. Flavor was pretty good and the spice level was just right. The crawfish themselves were on the smaller side but I chalk that up to it being early in the season. I will definitely try them again in a few weeks before I render my final opinion on them. For the price I would say they are pretty good deal and the service is friendly. read more

If you are going to this place for crawfish, you are making the right decision. The flavor is good and they know how to cook them so they are easy to peel. They are really nice. There were two things I would have changed. The sausage is only so so, it cooked up soft. And the ranch dressing is from a bottle. Guys, making your ranch dressing takes two minutes, and makes a major difference in the flavor. This super convenient and accessible crawfish stand is one to visit if you are in the area. We got a couple of pounds of crawfish, fried catfish, and corn on the cob. I really enjoyed all the food. The crawfish is spicy, and adds so much flavor to the crawfish meat. I personally don't like crawfish drenched in butter so I appreciated that the butter came on the side. The corn on the cob was also full of flavor. The fried catfish was very flavorful, crispy, and fresh. It wasn't oily, you can tell it was prepared with skill and care. I would definitely get it again! I wasn't a huge fan of the fries or the hush puppies, they were ok. I would get the catfish bucket again though, the fish was delicious. read more

The Best Crawfish around ! We visited the Boiler Room last night and as always they were Fantastic ! We had crawfish, shrimp ,mushrooms, sausage and some chicken strips and fries for my kids . The crawfish were perfectly spiced ,juicy and flavorful as always with the mystery flavor I so enjoy ! The shrimp were huge and the potatoes and corn cooked perfectly. My kids devoured the chicken strip which were big and fresh . This was my first visit. It was very good. I ordered the 1 lb special with 1/2 lb shrimp and added mushrooms. The shrimp, mushrooms, potato, corn and sausage was wonderful. The crawfish had an added flavor than I was use to but it was still good. This is a non Vietnamese owned which is difficult to find around here. Nothing against them. Service was excellent and crawfish boiled to perfection and not overcooked like a lot of places tend to do. The 3 stars is coz the crawfish had no seasoning whatsoever. We came here for our anniversary dinner and I am amazed on how good the crawfish was! We travel far for crawfish and never get good crawfish. So now we found this place we will definitely be coming back! All the crawfish was cooked PERFECTLY, and dont get me start on the flavor. They have really good specials as well. Crawfish came with various sizes, mostly small or very small. Flavor was good. The shrimp is the best deal. Good size! After all, FDA regulates shrimp size, but not crawfish. Sausage was under weight when I buy one pound. read more
