Food 4/5 Service 5/5…read moreAmbiance 5/5 This is the kind of PUB ( really a pub) that reminds you of "Cheers" where everybody knows your name! It's a lot of fun to sit right up at the bar and watch the fellow barbecue your burger or grilled chicken sandwich, interact with the other diners sitting at the bar, and chat with the bartender. It really is quite unique. Very quaint. Woody. Comfort feeling. My grilled chicken Patti snake in the grass with spinach was very tasty. It's real meat not like a prepared chicken put together. I don't know what took me so long to coming here, but I definitely will be back! I knocked down one star for the food because they serve it with a bag of chips of which are very salty and really not tasty. If you're going to give chips on the side, make it at least decent chips. Also, I felt the $12 for a glass of house of wine was a little pricey. Oh and I should add that this is a very bare-bones establishment. There's no napkins. They put a roll of paper towel towels up on the counter and you can just break off a piece.

Had the ENORMOUS pretzel of which our party of 8 all took a taste with pretzel left to spare. Other app's were the fried deviled eggs, knockout shrimp, of which they shrimp stole the show with 100% recommended and the eggs with only 50% of the table enjoying. We also had loaded fries, which were ok. All the app's looked great. Happy hour drinks according to my guests, were delicious and generous in size for $5 margarita. Entrees were enjoyed by all! We only had one issue with a steak being sent back because it was not cooked properly. Of which they corrected right away and refired the entire meal WITH sides not just the steak. I ordered the salmon with rice and green beans. It was cooked medium and had a sweet but Blackened taste. The top of the salmon was a bit tough but not so much that it retracted from the taste or texture overall. The sides complimented well. I really enjoyed it. We ordered HUGE triple play burgers...of which even the guys didn't finish , wings, THE PORK CHOP WAS TENDER AND DELICIOUS (Can you tell I wish I ordered that...stole from my guest's plate), Blackened Chicken and shrimp avocado salad. Everything was really good. Had the Carrot Cake for desert and it could easily be enjoyed by three people. Great flavor in a surprisingly wonderful presentation. Service was with a new waitress, but she was kind and did her best. Service was out of order at times. For stance, she left drinks sitting at the bar so long they started to get watered down instead of serving them when she noticed them and taking our order afterwards. But she'll learn as she goes. She has the most important things down...service with a smile. Food came out at a good pace. Allowed us to have great conversation and enjoy the appetizers. Manager delivered the refired steak and stayed to make sure it was cooked to preference before leaving the table. Ambiance was tavern-like. Wood chairs and tables, dim lighting, clean, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Great for small or large groups. We also had no wait at 3:30pm on a Monday afternoon, which I was gratefu, especially for our group size. Check them out. We had a great time. Recommended!
