Admittedly us cavemen aren't always the best with our pearly whites, but this fellow has high praise for their education. It's not pushy, but rather informative. Due to this practice, they planted a seed about teeth/gums and heart health. That's the kind of enlightenment you should get. Here Steve Martin isn't on the staff, but rather Dr G who is actually a really nice guy. Some orthodontists can have this attitude that negatively permeates a practice. That's the opposite here, as he's very genuine, and honest about what your options are. He's also quite funny, and having had novacaine I think it's called shots from him, he's far more gentle than others in the field. Unfortunately recently there has been a revolving door of new cadre of dentists and the quality of care and the office experience has significantly declined. One dentist redid a bonding but it looked so terrible I to go elsewhere to get it redone. The office management kept spamming me to make an appointment but then the only availability five months out. They also recently started pushing more unnecessary services, which is expected but still irritating. I will give them credit for not lying about having cavities, which has happened at other dental practices. It is hard to find a good dentist in this area and until a year ago I loved my experiences with this practice. But sadly this is no longer the case and I can't recommend this dental practice.

In my life I've had 10 years of braces, 4 oral surgeries- awake for 4, and a bridge out in due to damage on my braces. I'm not great with this fear. Ok. So three months ago I had the worst jaw pain. Finally got scared and went in. Dr. Smiley sees my husband and daughter, so I asked for her. She was gentle and wonderful and now I'm a proud owner of a night guard that I actually .... Like? Yeah I do. Then, I went in for my first cleaning in 17 years. I was not shamed. More like, they were so positive and kind about how my teeth were in surprisingly good shape. They were caring and wonderful. Didn't let me leave without scheduling my next, in a very kind way. Cut to yesterday. I did have 3 cavities. I was TERRIFIED and these wonderful humans called me the afternoon before to offer anxiety meds. (I had some, but talk about understanding your patient and being caring). I was in the chair for 3 hours but she was gentle, walked me through every step, and today my mouth is a little sore, but not much. Dare I say I'm not scared for my cleaning in February? After multiple appeals, insurance still denied coverage based on medical necessity criteria, leaving us with a large balance. Over time, the messaging shifted from confidence that it would be approved to comments that our insurance was "the worst," and eventually we were told the PPO contractual adjustment counted as a "discount," which felt misleading to us. As an aside, a different dentist later completed another crown for me that was approved by the same insurance, which made the earlier comments about our insurance being terrible harder to understand. Separately, this office recommended approximately 10 fillings for me personally. I later obtained a second opinion from another dentist who agreed with 2 recommendations. That large difference made me uncomfortable and contributed to my decision to seek care elsewhere.

The staff is small - Dr. Lindsey, one hygienist, one assistant, one receptionist - and it's clear that they genuinely enjoy one another and their patients. The small staff also means that you'll spend very little time waiting for your scheduled appointment. Both Dr. Lindsey and the hygienist are very thorough, but very gentle. They explain what they're doing and why and will answer your questions thoughtfully and respectfully. They do their best to minimize any discomfort - whether with meds, the TV, or just a comforting chair-side manner. The office is light and airy - it's an end unit so there's a big window by each chair. No feeling like you're in a closet or other tiny, cramped space. One of the things I most appreciate is that no one in his office has ever tried to sell me anything. Previous dentists have recommended any number of cosmetic procedures (such as whitening). While Dr. Lindsey does provide cosmetic procedures, we have only discussed them on my initiative. He just doesn't push procedures that are not necessary for the patient's dental health. I really appreciate the friendly, personalized care and attention we receive from Dr. Lindsey and his staff. There's just great karma in his office and his practice.

Absolutely horrific experience here with a root canal that caused damage and later about $12K of…read morerepair from other dentists. The two other dentists that saw the work that was done both claimed that the dentists here are negligent. Standard root canal procedure was not followed including- -Cementing my crowns so that they connected my two molars so I could not properly chew or move them and also causing cavities. -Not properly polishing after the root canal leading to food getting easily caught and causing large build ups of tartar. -Unnecessarily incredible painful drilling that lasted 2 hours + for one root canal. The numbing agent barely worked. I asked for more but it barely numbed. -They did not isolate the tooth when doing a root canal, which is against root canal procedure. -Either they did the root canal on the wrong tooth or they failed to see the tooth next to it also desperately needed a root canal I do not write this review lightly. I am solely writing this since the negligence affected me so much that I do not wish for any other person to go through such an absolutely awful experience like I did.
