I had a family emergency come up the same day as my appointment, so naturally I called to reschedule. They told me I had to pay a $50 fee for cancelling within 24 hours of my appointment time. Having to deal with one of my children in the hospital and hearing that I would be charged for something that was out of my control is absolutely absurd. I think this business should take their clients circumstances into consideration. I will absolutely be finding a new practice for my family to go to. read more

Multiple billing issues as they constantly trying to charge us for things covered by insurance at 100%. In some cases, they couldn't even explain what the charges were for. Staff turnover seemed high. Dr. Barlow tried telling us our doctors' advice was wrong, and she regularly offered over-the-top justifications of all she new about medicine and other topics. Did not know when to stay on her lane. Dental exams were okay, though. We have since changed practices and do not experience those financial and billing issues here. read more

I was having a rough day, having gone to two other dentists in the area, for my 5yo sons 2 cracked molars. My appointment with Dr. Barlow was for my 4yo daughters routine cleaning. We were a new patient and having seen her gentle and engaging interaction with my daughter, I commended her for her bedside manners. I went on to explain my encounter with the two previous dentist earlier that day, one didn't feel comfortable with my sons case, the other indicated 2 pulpotomies. Dr. Barlow evaluated my son on the spot and indicated that the images looked worse than the physical exam, and that she would be willing to try and fill his cavities. I broke down in tears, from her compassion, knowledge & conservative approach to save my sons teeth, and willingness to just, listen. Just yesterday, my son had both teeth successfully filled all while explaining the entire process to him. If that's not a WOW factor, I don't know what is! The entire staff, from Grant, her hygienist, to Carolla, at the front desk, are just a joy to be around! This office is a 20/10 and I cannot rave about them enough! She actually listens! With Cigna dental, I have no copay; only the option for a $25 fluoride rinse after my detailed cleaning. This practice is hands down the best dentist office I have been to. The dentist I had seen for many years retired, and I wasn't happy with the way the practice was going (dental assistants that were half-trained, unhappy office staff, what I felt were unnecessary treatments). So I did the research and found Dr. Barlow. She is a very, very good dentist - my teeth aren't in very good shape - I've had a number of crowns, cracked teeth, etc., but I've made a real effort to keep them in shape so much as I can. She is gentle, she is excellent for fillings and crown work, and her staff is friendly and skilled at cleaning and other assistant work. I had my first appointment here yesterday and it was hands down the best dental experience I have had in my 25 years as a proud tooth owner. The staff was as kind as can be and their genuine dispositions made me feel as though we had known each other for years. The waiting area and work area were both clean, organized, and comfortable. I filled out my "first-timer" paperwork expecting to wait a while, but the hygienist called me back in a timely manner. She was very friendly and entertaining as she cleaned my teeth in a gentle, yet effective way. I usually despise dental experiences due to the scraping, buzzing and general memories of trauma that they bring back, but this woman was so good I could have squeezed in a nap while she worked. When it came time for the dentist to check my teeth out, I was pleasantly surprised by her kindness and bubbly personality. I grew up with very stuffy "let's get down to business," dentists. She made me feel very at ease and proceeded to provide me with a detailed analysis of my oral situation. Her knowledge and skills were quite apparent but she made all the information regarding my x-rays very understandable. I've seen Dr. Barlow twice now and my husband has gone once and we cannot believe how wonderful the experience was! The entire staff are extremely friendly and it's a very relaxing atmosphere. Dr. Barlow is incredibly kind and gentle and knowledgeable.
