The Dentist and his assistant made sure I understood what I needed, the Dentist identified sone other issues, but told me we would deal with those later. No pushy fear fed sales talk. They made sure I understood the cost, what insurance paid and what I was paying. No extra fee for being an emergency walk in. Almost totally painless work, my new crown was made there, in house and to be honest was perfect. The cost was reasonable, the staff very professional and I now have a new dentist office!

Having an urgent errand, we asked the front desk if we can come back to pick her up after her teeth is cleaned. They said yes, and we left. Long story short, they call us back to say that they can't do anything to her teeth until the guardian/parent is there at the office. If that's the case, why did the front desk tell us that its okay to come back later to pick her up?! If they told us about this while we were at the office, we could have rearranged our plan instead of having our child stay there doing nothing until we come back. Wasting our time, no apology, blaming us for this "miscommunication", this will be our last visit.

After multiple appeals, insurance still denied coverage based on medical necessity criteria, leaving us with a large balance. Over time, the messaging shifted from confidence that it would be approved to comments that our insurance was "the worst," and eventually we were told the PPO contractual adjustment counted as a "discount," which felt misleading to us. As an aside, a different dentist later completed another crown for me that was approved by the same insurance, which made the earlier comments about our insurance being terrible harder to understand. Separately, this office recommended approximately 10 fillings for me personally. I later obtained a second opinion from another dentist who agreed with 2 recommendations. That large difference made me uncomfortable and contributed to my decision to seek care elsewhere.

Crazy expensive procedures ($38 for one x-ray) and they also tried billing for things that weren't done. But once I called and called them out on it they took it off the bill immediately. Pay attention to your invoices. (keep in mind x-rays are just digital pictures now there are no longer any materials used)

On the one hand I always had a good experience with the hygienists and there have been few issues with insurance. I used to see Dr. Bunin who I thought was great but he left to go to another firm. Initially, I did find Dr. Argentieri to be somewhat abrasive, however, I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, and I have always gotten along with him just fine. Both my husband and I have had extensive work done there and would get my teeth cleaned twice a year. They always took the time to take my blood pressure and it always felt like they cared about their patients. Until recently. I had an appointment for a regular cleaning but I had to cancel it because I had to work at the last minute. I am a real estate agent and I was called to show a house about an hour away the same morning of my appointment. I was not going to be able to get back in time for my appointment. It was an impossible situation because my client works at night so she was not going to be able to view the home in the evening and she couldn't schedule it for another day. I tried. Karen, whom I had never met before, was rude to me over the phone. She told me that since it was inside 24 hours (it was about 20 hours), I would be charged a missed appointment fee. In six years I was NEVER charged a missed appointment fee. NEVER. I'm sure it must have happened at least once due to the nature of my job, but I had never been charged for it. I was stunned. She would not talk to me, she just kept repeating the same thing over and over again. I live about 5 minutes away so I drove over there to speak to her directly. I could not believe I was being treated that way after being a patient for so long. She showed ZERO understanding about my job and could not answer why, after six years I was suddenly being charged this fee. I wasn't even aware that there WAS a missed appointment fee because I had never been charged one before. I tried to be reasonable with her. TBH, I just wanted her to tell me that they would not charge me this time, since there was no warning, but with the understanding that going forward, I would be charged, but no. She just kept repeating that it was policy and insisted that I would be charged for it. She had no regard for how long I'd been a customer nor how much $ we'd spent there over the years. It was really disgusting the way she treated me. THEN, to make matters worse, she told me that she was cancelling all my future cleaning appointments and that the only way they would see me again is if I came in as a walk in. (This woman does not know the meaning of negotiation nor goodwill.) This happened several months ago but I was prompted to write this review because my husband (we are separated) recently had work done there and the bills still come to the house. I noticed that the $110 charge is still on the bill, so it reminded me of what happened and that there has obviously been no resolution. I was very comfortable and happy going there for over six years, happy with Drs. A and C and the two hygienists that I have seen over the years. But Karen ruined everything for me.

Not having a regular dentist, I googled dentists and this is the first place I called. The receptionist was so nice- definitely the reason I chose this dentist. I explained my pain and she assured me they would take care of it. After calling at 8 on a Monday morning, they took me at 10. Dr. Argentieri evaluated me and ended up extracting a wisdom tooth. He was very friendly and explained everything he did. I was worried about the cost, so I asked and before they began anything he had the front desk total my expenses for the procedure. Dr. A noticed some other issues while I was there that day, and I've since been back and have been very satisfied with their work.

However, recently had a disappointing interaction with the front desk staff that I feel needs to be addressed. During a phone call, I was trying to explain my situation regarding a $3,000 payment within a month and discuss possibly rescheduling while contacted my dental insurance. Unfortunately, I wasn't given the chance to fully explain, as l was frequently interrupted. I was also told that I was being rude and raising my voice, which was not my intention. I did not use any inappropriate language or yell. When I asked to speak with someone else, I was told that I would not be transferred. At one point, I also felt dismissed as a customer, which was frustrating. Again, the dental care itself has been great, but this experience with the front desk left me disappointed. I hope the office can improve communication and customer service moving forward. I would recommend not going to place that doesn't understand spending 3000 dollars in a month is a lot

At the point where one of my daughters became more complicated to treat, instead of working with us, Dr. Nastea made no attempt to develop a treatment plan and instead just booted her from the dental practice while still being clear that she wanted our business for our other daughter. NOPE! Sorry. Dr. Nastea appears to be well-prepared for routine uncomplicated preventive care, which is fine, but if other issues arise, she doesn't have the skills/interest/time/desire/training/equipment to deal with them. She'll just eject the patient from the practice. No bueno.
