Dr. Ghannam is wonderful. I have dental phobias and he really helped talk me through everything to make sure I was comfortable the whole way through. I needed a lot of work done and was able to go through it all because everyone at Artisan Dental is very supportive and helpful throughout the process. Dr. Ghannam is great at helping those who are fearful of dental procedures and makes sure you don't suffer and aren't in pain after surgeries. For my last root canal he told me to relax and bring a pair of headphones turned up as loud as I wanted and it was much faster and easier than I thought it would be to get that last part taken care of. Dr. Ghannam is a life saver! For over seven years, I've been concerned about a crown and a root canal on same, which gave me all kinds of problems from the beginning. I voiced my discomfort several times to my dentist and endodontist, but was told repeatedly that nothing showed up on the x-rays and everything was fine. Long story short, the root canal abscessed and became infected. Dr. Ghannam removed the crown and extracted the tooth, which turned out to be dead. He performed a bone graft and placed a membrane to prepare my mouth for a future implant. Dr. Ghannam's chair-side manner is superb. He listens to you, clearly explains the procedure he is about to carry out; and answers your questions with explanations the lay person can understand. I highly recommend Dr. Ghannam to everyone and have already done so to one of my friends. Artisan Dental is a comfortable and quiet state-of-the-art facility unlike most dentist offices that are crowded and noisy. I have been seeing my prior dentist for over 7 years. I've had a long history of bad teeth and always blamed for not doing my part, as far as home care, despite brushing and flossing 2-3 times a day. After one visit with Dr. Ghannam he was able to explain and show the cause of all my concerns. It was not my effort, but the faulty procedures I've had in my mouth. He showed me pictures of my mouth and explained everything in basic language for me to understand. I've had bridge and fillings that were botched. Actually this business deserves no star! We, my husband and I, happened to have routine dental service, including cleaning and x-rays in this Ghannam's office a while ago. Our irreparable mistake was not checking if it belonged to in-network of my insurance before visit. Normally the routine check-up is free to us bi-annually as long as we go to in-network dentists. He initially sent me almost $900 dollars after claiming his bill and receiving his money from my insurance. We were flabbergasted by the itemized charges he put on. At a loss we decided to contact his office where Jill, then an office staff, appeared to have great deal of experience while dealing with people like us, a victim of licensed high-level crime. We still ended up to owe ridiculous charge of $500 even after 40% of total charges were already paid by my insurance company. We agreed to make payment arrangement like paying by installments. It took quite a while to pay it off. When the balance remained less than $40, they added a charge, so called administration fee: $40. They said my teeth were falling apart, having lots of cracks. Their panic/fear tactic didn't work for us. We found and went to our network dentist for free bi-annual check-up, finding out it was not true at all. My teeth was said to be healthy enough to need just normal care like others. Please do NOT go to this licensed scammer and cheater below. You'll get ripped off eventually read more

And told them I was getting a second opinion but they wouldn't release my records to my new dentist. When it came time to replacing my temporary crowns with the permanent crowns, he spent hours drilling away little by little to perfect a replica of how my previous teeth looked like so that the crowns would look and feel natural. Even with the coloring of the crowns, he didn't just go by the given colors that all dental offices use for matching your teeth because he felt that the coloring in my teeth was a different tint/shade of yellow. So, he took it upon himself to mix and blend different shades to make the perfect one that would match the rest of my teeth! That's exactly the reason to why I said earlier that he is an artist too. Just amazing work. I can't thank him enough for helping me change and improve my dental health. Because of his work, I am able to smile confidently. I no longer have to worry about how to smile or how much teeth to show when I do. This, not only, had a positive impact on my confidence in smiling freely again but also an overall impact on my confidence when interacting with people in all aspects of my life. As a parent, an injury to your child is of utmost concern. My daughter fell and broke an adult front tooth. She loved her smile and was always getting compliments on it so she was devastated when this happened. I phoned Dr Ghannam's office, as a first time patient, and Lina and Dr Ghannam were so accommodating they saw us the same day! My daughter is a dental phobic, has never had a cavity or dental work, other than cleanings so I was concerned how this was going to go. Sunita, his assistant, was very kind, caring, and comforting. She made sure my daughter was completely at ease during the procedure. Dr Ghannam was able to replace the broken tooth perfectly with a bonded restoration that looked just like her tooth and matched color as well. My daughter was ecstatic with the end result. Dr Ghannam is very kind, caring, knowledgeable and perfectionistic, which is a top priority on my list! We drove from Maryland for this appointment to see him and are so happy we did. At the end of my daughter's appointment, she said "that was the best dental experience I've ever had. Can this be my dentist from now on?" Dr. Ghannam provided a full consultation after x-rays and exams. There was a lot of work to be done to correct the bad practices of other dentists. I needed a bone graft, invisalign to create space and correct the smile, a root canal and implants. He created a plan for me financially and clinically that made a lot of sense. His ability to understand the true work that would be needed and how each phase would impact my level of comfort was unprecedented. He was able to perform these surgeries with pinpoint accuracy and excellent bedside manner. I would reccomend him to all of my friend, family and anyone asking. The monument you walk through the door you are greeted by a friendly face and you just feel like you are at home. I was educated about what I needed and what was my best form of treatment.
