You have to wait a while if your appointment is in the afternoon but if you have an early appointment, they will see you immediately. The wait doesn't bother me as much because once I'm with my dentist, he spends time explaining what I need. They are also compassionate to my financial needs and are open to negotiations, will definitely recommend this dental office. Staff is really nice and very knowledgeable. I called one time and got the voice message and didn't leave a message because I had questions. Surprisingly, I got a return call. Great service and they will text you reminders too. Dr. Bogacki was all business which is exactly what I needed. I was still in shock but his professionalism calmed me and made me realize that I was in an establishment that cared more about providing the right service vice promises of hearts and rainbows. The crowns that broke were badly done and threw off my bite for the last two years. I'm so excited that I'm going to see the crown artisan next week to get crowns that fit my mouth and restore my confidence. Also adults such as myself get chewed up enough at work, to be lectured elsewhere, especially when it's dental time. Here there's none of that irritation, although teeth can be slightly in that fashion after a thorough cleaning. Pain is weakness leaving the body! Admittedly us cavemen aren't always the best with our pearly whites, but this fellow has high praise for their education. It's not pushy, but rather informative. Due to this practice, they planted a seed about teeth/gums and heart health. That's the kind of enlightenment you should get. Here Steve Martin isn't on the staff, but rather Dr G who is actually a really nice guy. Some orthodontists can have this attitude that negatively permeates a practice. That's the opposite here, as he's very genuine, and honest about what your options are. He's also quite funny, and having had novacaine I think it's called shots from him, he's far more gentle than others in the field. I've been a regular for about 2 years now and with each visit, my admiration grows. Not sure if the team is just simply that cohesive and happy or if they've undergone tremendous amounts of training. My Experience With This Practice…read more Dr. Amir was the surgeon who performed my wisdom tooth procedure. I had all four of my wisdom teeth scheduled to be removed at this practice. I paid for all four extractions, and my insurance was also billed for all four. I also paid the required copay for each tooth. I underwent general anesthesia and went through the recovery and pain believing that all four teeth had been removed. After the procedure, I was told by Dr. Amir and the staff that the procedure had been completed. At my follow-up appointment, I was again led to believe that everything had been taken care of. Later, I visited my general dentist, who took X-rays and informed me that one of my wisdom teeth was still present and had not been removed. I returned to the practice and brought this to Dr. Amir's attention. He apologized and asked me to contact the staff regarding a resolution. After contacting the staff, I was reimbursed only the $136 copay associated with the tooth that had not been removed. What makes this even more frustrating is that because of this mishap, I now have to go through another extraction and another round of recovery, pain, and inconvenience--something I should not have had to go through if the procedure had been completed correctly the first time. My concern is that I was charged for a procedure that was not fully performed, my insurance was billed for all four teeth, and I was not informed that one tooth remained until my general dentist discovered it through X-rays. I am extremely disappointed with how this was handled, particularly because I underwent general anesthesia and the risks and recovery associated with the procedure based on the understanding that all four teeth were being removed

My son was referred to this practice by our regular dentist; it took a while for this office to…read moreverify the insurance and it seemed to be questionable whether or not I would have to pay for the consultation because they didn't communicate very well about the insurance verifications. We showed up for the consultation appointment and waited for almost an hour to be seen; when we go back, the dentist was looking at 2 yr old xrays and I had to point that fact out to him because he couldn't read the date...which i though was kind of a red flag, pink it least. So, they do updated xrays and we move forward with the consultation and I schedule an appt to get my sons wisdom teeth removed. The appointment was scheduled more than 30 days out... the evening before the appointment on June 6, 2025, I received a call saying the insurance was still not confirmed and unless i wanted to pay out of pocket, they would have to reschedule the appointment. I asked them to call me back to schedule once they verify insurance. This place NEVER called back. What I have received, 2 billings for $10.93 with no indication why i was billed. I get it it's $10.93, it least its not $110.93. I paid this a month ago because I realize this place is not good and I just want them to go away. Today, August 1, 2025, I received the same billing for $10.93. I called at 330pm on a Friday and the office is closed, but the office hours are listed to be open til 430pm. The point in all this is, don't waste your time with this practice, find a better place for you or your family member to be put under and have someone cutting into your mouths.

In my life I've had 10 years of braces, 4 oral surgeries- awake for 4, and a bridge out in due to damage on my braces. I'm not great with this fear. Ok. So three months ago I had the worst jaw pain. Finally got scared and went in. Dr. Smiley sees my husband and daughter, so I asked for her. She was gentle and wonderful and now I'm a proud owner of a night guard that I actually .... Like? Yeah I do. Then, I went in for my first cleaning in 17 years. I was not shamed. More like, they were so positive and kind about how my teeth were in surprisingly good shape. They were caring and wonderful. Didn't let me leave without scheduling my next, in a very kind way. Cut to yesterday. I did have 3 cavities. I was TERRIFIED and these wonderful humans called me the afternoon before to offer anxiety meds. (I had some, but talk about understanding your patient and being caring). I was in the chair for 3 hours but she was gentle, walked me through every step, and today my mouth is a little sore, but not much. Dare I say I'm not scared for my cleaning in February? After multiple appeals, insurance still denied coverage based on medical necessity criteria, leaving us with a large balance. Over time, the messaging shifted from confidence that it would be approved to comments that our insurance was "the worst," and eventually we were told the PPO contractual adjustment counted as a "discount," which felt misleading to us. As an aside, a different dentist later completed another crown for me that was approved by the same insurance, which made the earlier comments about our insurance being terrible harder to understand. Separately, this office recommended approximately 10 fillings for me personally. I later obtained a second opinion from another dentist who agreed with 2 recommendations. That large difference made me uncomfortable and contributed to my decision to seek care elsewhere.

I visited Ahmed Saad in mid-August to re-cement two crowns in my mouth and to place a third crown…read morelost while eating. He stated, falsely in my opinion, that the 2 crowns I gave him that had gotten unglued in my mouth could not be used, and charged me full price for three new crowns that he made in-house on his Cerek machine. The two adjacent crowns he made were so poorly made (2 millimeters gap between them) than entire chunks of food would always get lodged between them, causing pain and bleeding to this date, more than 3 months later. One of the crowns he needlessly replaced with the one he made in-house was a zirconia one that had been purposely made extremely strong to minimize wear from teeth grinding. The measurements made for the new crowns he made in-house were made by one of his staff; even though such measurements are crucial,, he didn't bother doing them himself, and the result is that he crowns he made are poor and have a bog gap between them. When I initially confronted Ahmed Saad, he dismissed me with the advice to rinse with a mouthwash he recommended. I complained to the Virignia Board that overseas dentists. Now I have to wait in bleeding pain until next January when my DeltaDental insurance resets again.

The process took 3-4 hours for both crowns and to have my crowns in place, they have a very cool very hi tech machine than scan your teeth and then create your crowns in another machine in front of you in just 30 min!! I actually fall a sleep while Dr. Ahmed was working on my teeth. I never fall a sleep when I am at the dentist . Right after I finished and left I started eating and drinking normally and didn't feel any pain or anything. Felt like I didn't do anything at all in my teeth. Again it is the best dentist experience in my life. Great doctor and great staff.

She has a heavy and painful hand at implementing life changing procedures. I am now in Dallas, TX and my new dentist explained she did a terrible job with my crown. I believe it because she had little to no experience, put me through 4 painful reiterations of trying to implant the crown and I had to suffer through it wasting time out of my own private practice. I am in the medical field too and I wish I would have just listened to my intuition that she was incompetent.

Every time I tried to question her decision and see if there is another way out, she spoke to me in a very condescending way and her assistant answered me very rudely as well. While checking out at the front desk I scheduled a 6 month cleaning appointment with the hygienist as I really liked her and at that moment Dr Maharaja came out and said to her reception staff that I didn't need any cleaning appointments as she didn't think I would be sticking around. I was in shock at her rudeness and I came out crying of her office. After that I went to 3 other dentists for a second opinion and each one of them was extremely surprised when I told them that my previous dentist recommended to have that tooth removed and an implant put in place. I was referred to an endodontist by one of the dentists. The endodontist was also quite perplexed at why such drastic measures were recommended by Dr Maharaja to me.
