I visited Ahmed Saad in mid-August to re-cement two crowns in my mouth and to place a third crown lost while eating. He stated, falsely in my opinion, that the 2 crowns I gave him that had gotten unglued in my mouth could not be used, and charged me full price for three new crowns that he made in-house on his Cerek machine. The two adjacent crowns he made were so poorly made (2 millimeters gap between them) than entire chunks of food would always get lodged between them, causing pain and bleeding to this date, more than 3 months later. One of the crowns he needlessly replaced with the one he made in-house was a zirconia one that had been purposely made extremely strong to minimize wear from teeth grinding. The measurements made for the new crowns he made in-house were made by one of his staff; even though such measurements are crucial,, he didn't bother doing them himself, and the result is that he crowns he made are poor and have a bog gap between them. When I initially confronted Ahmed Saad, he dismissed me with the advice to rinse with a mouthwash he recommended. I complained to the Virignia Board that overseas dentists. Now I have to wait in bleeding pain until next January when my DeltaDental insurance resets again. read more

"The best dentist experience in my life!" I had an appointment with Dr. Ahmed to put two crowns on two tooth. Right when I arrived there I felt the nice welcoming atmosphere from the staff. The process took 3-4 hours for both crowns and to have my crowns in place, they have a very cool very hi tech machine than scan your teeth and then create your crowns in another machine in front of you in just 30 min!! I actually fall a sleep while Dr. Ahmed was working on my teeth. I never fall a sleep when I am at the dentist . Right after I finished and left I started eating and drinking normally and didn't feel any pain or anything. Felt like I didn't do anything at all in my teeth. Lauren the hygienist is excellent at what she does and is very friendly and easy to talk with. She listens if you have any pain or issues that needs to be addressed and even sees things that you may have not noticed. Lauren will provide the best care for your teeth. I hadn't seen a dentist in quite a long time and was nervous to see how much damage my teeth have gotten into (and I had also always hated seeing the dentist) I decided to see Dr. Saad based off of Yelp reviews and I must say.. he and his staff are so kind and friendly that I immediately was comfortable. You can tell that he really cares about the well-being of his patients and takes the time to make sure you okay before starting any procedure. I had a root canal done 3 weeks ago and was a bit hesitant since I've heard many horror stories about them. The whole process went well (as you get to enjoy cable television while they are working on you) but Dr. Saad takes his time and is gentle with your teeth and gums. After searching for so long for a dentist that would not scam me or make me feel uncomfortable by pushing me to pay for unnecessary treatment I finally found the BEST dentist! I had been browsing Yelp for a long time and I came across Dr.Saad's profile! I had been a been a little skeptical at first due to the fact that I met many dentists that would try to get money out of my pocket but I gave him a try! My first visit consisted of him asking me questions and what I was concerned about and me being young I was primarily concerned about my front teeth. I had a lot of chipping and cavities that were exposed and this was my main concern. Dr. Saad listened patiently and informed me that he would take care of it with no hesitation :) he also informed me about some cavities in my back teeth! My second visit was immediate only 2 days apart and he fixed my main concern PERFECTLY! I am so happy and he definitely cleaned up my terrible mess. Absolutely loved this place. Let me start with Tania the receptionist in the front. I had an appointment today but because of some insurance issues I was hesitant to go in. I gave her a call and she kindly pushed my appointment to 2pm because another patient had moved theirs. Once I got there I explained to her what had happened during my previous dentist visit at another practice. She was genuinely invested in our conversation and assured me I'd be taken care of. I had a couple of concerns about my insurance and she right away answered all my questions, something that my own insurance company couldn't do. Once I was called in, the dental assistant did my xrays, was extremely gentle, and made sure I was as comfortable as I could during that time. Finally meeting Dr Saad was was the icing on the cake. He is such a wondering person, funny, and caring. He made sure I was completely comfortable and made my deep cleaning feel like a breeze. This will now be my new dentist office. Sometime in July my mother (89 yrs old) needed a cleaning job. We went to a female Dentist near rives ave & Firestone in Downey. The dentist, after examining mother, said she needed two fillings and several injections to prevent infections while doing the work. Mother would. Have to return in two weeks to have the cleaning job done and would require the injections again to prevent infection. I almost had a heart attack when the front desk person said it would be $6300.00. She ask what date would i want for appointment? I told her we would think about it. My kids and I have patients of Dr. Saad for several years. The entire staff is wonderful and very welcoming. They provide a comfortable atmosphere while going through an procedure. I had several cavities filled in along with a crown. My daughter also had a filling done there. He called several times to check on her after the procedure and has always been easy to reach. I was recommended to Dr. Saad by my friend. My husband and I came for a check up.The staff is very nice. The doctor was great.
