The massage therapist left the room twice in the first 5 min of my "massage" to answer the phone! I was dressed by minute six. Ridiculous.

Tierra was very professional, but also very friendly and made me feel comfortable. The 1st time with a new stylist can be a little anxious. Tierra was very intuitive about what I wanted, happy to see Pinterest examples to make sure we were talking about the same look, and she was honest about what could or could not be done with the length, texture, condition of my hair. The entire process was very easy, comfortable, and professional. I highly recommend the spa, and Tierra, and I will surely be back! Better signage would be helpful when you first step off the elevator, in order to find the spa more easily would be my only critique.

The ambiance is very chill and relaxing, and having a private room for our group was a nice touch. I'm giving 4 stars mainly because of a couple of small things. We were supposed to receive two bottles of champagne as part of our experience, but only one was brought out. We had to ask about the second one, and at first they actually refused to give it to us because it was already toward the end of the evening. I understand that we were finishing up, but we were supposed to receive both bottles as part of the experience in the first place. The other thing is that the pool and sauna are on the 8th floor, while the spa services are on the 5th floor. It's not a huge deal, but it would be much more convenient if everything were on the same floor. That said, we still had a great time and the overall atmosphere was lovely. I would definitely recommend it for a girls' day, bachelorette party, or just a relaxing spa day.

We arrived about 30 minutes prior to our appointments to take advantage of a few amenities. The check-in and check-out processes did not go smoothly. The receptionists kept getting me mixed up with my sister, who was already escorted inside the wet facility. Then when we checked out, they were confused as to whom paid for our pool service food. Logistics aside, everything else about the experience was superb. The spa had everything I needed. The pool and jacuzzi were co-ed, but the womens' locker room had an herbal sauna, steam room, heated relaxation loungers, and showers. I got a 60-minute Chuan Harmony massage with Francisco. The massage was very relaxing, and aroma therapy was part of the treatment to balance your elements per Chinese medicine philosophy. Francisco was also very friendly and highly professional. I fell asleep during the massage, which was a win in my book. Lastly, the pool service food was excellent. One of my best friends got a margherita flatbread and chips with salsa and guac, and my sister got a poke bowl. I had the pleasure of picking at everything, which I all found delicious.

Very clean and spacious. The decor was beautiful and the waiting room area before you get your massage was so cozy! I was offered champagne and they had light snacks as well. I then had my massage, the only thing I'll say is that it was just okay. But I liked the finishing touch of them giving you a calming bead placed in the ear for anxious relief afterwards. I then followed up with spending the rest of the day enjoying all the amenities they had, and took a dip in the pool. I came here solo and had the best time!

I have been to other spas around town and get massages about once or twice a year but am far from a regular at the spa. Current Crush was pretty much a massage newbie, so I thought the couples massage would be a good introduction. We both decided to go for the therapeutic massage, a version of a deep-tissue massage (50-minute option). There is an 80-minute option as well, for those looking to seriously decompress. Both of the massage therapists were competent and put us at ease. Relative to other spas (I think the Spa at the Dana Hotel is comparable) the Wit's Spa is slightly smaller, but in no way does this detract from the experience. The Whisper Lounge is enjoyable although the wicker chairs are a bit difficult to get into and out of. The woman at the front desk handling the booking and payments was so sweet, which made the experience that much more relaxing. I liked that nobody tried to push products at the end, although it would have been nice to get a little more instruction on aftercare (hydration, exercise, etc.). At one point I heard a car horn, which took me out of the tranquil experience, but I suppose that is to be expected at a spa in the heart of the city. The prices are in line with what one would expect for a nice spa in an urban setting. Overall a relaxing visit and a great way to kick off summer.

I was greeted very warmly, pleasantly and professionally by Molly. Then I was transferred over to spa professional Tichina. She was very warm, bubbly and helpful. While I did not have a service she still took the time to provide me with a thorough tour. I utilized all amenities and enjoyed myself. I truly felt relaxed. Also liked the tea area and trail mix which was jut enough. I do look forward to returning and trying a service in the future. Only suggestion--I truly came for the steam room and relaxation. The steam was perfect except it the equipment can be checked out as when the mist would automatically come on during the process, the machine would make a loud, boom sound. I was dozing off and it this frightened me and certainly messed up the relaxation vibes.

You are greeted with a warm smile as they check you in and given gentle directions where you can change in their large facility into your robe and slippers. Then they guide you to where you can go to wait to meet your masseuse. It was a last minute booking and the last slot for an evening massage. It wasn't long at all before my smiling masseuse came to come and get me. Before I knew it I was laying face down getting the most relaxing massage I've had in a long time. This place serves at a high end level of excellence. My masseuse was very professional and just knew the perfect level of pressures to get all the knots, kinks, and stress print up on my back. This place lifts and floats you away from the business of the outside world and the whirls that swirl around inside your head. They know how to relax you to the max and send you off relaxed and recharged for the world. I hope to go back there sooner than later.

I was gifted an experience at Aire Baths, and for the most part, it was amazing! We didn't know…read morewhat to expect, but we were truly satisfied with the service we received, with one exception: the massage. After reading reviews dating back several months, I realized that other people had experienced the same issue. Let me start at the beginning. I made my reservation for a Sunday at noon. When we arrived, we were told that our reservation had been canceled. Naturally, I was confused because I hadn't canceled it. We were asked to take a seat while the staff looked into the matter, and they quickly figured it out. Brittany at the front desk did a wonderful job explaining what had happened. In the end, it turned out to be an error on my end, but she remained friendly, professional, and accommodating. She offered us another date and time and even compensated us for parking. Thank you, Brittany! The bath experience was everything I needed to cleanse my soul. The waterfall area and the eucalyptus sauna quickly became our favorite places. The atmosphere was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what we had hoped for. Now, on to the massage. My wife and I were in the same room. She had a female therapist, and I had a male therapist. Unfortunately, our experiences were completely different. My therapist spent most of the session lightly rubbing my feet and legs. He never touched my hands, fingers, neck, or head, all of which my wife received during her massage. He did ask whether there were any areas I wanted him to focus on, and I mentioned that I had tension in my upper shoulder area and that I had a shoulder injury. He concentrated primarily on the injured shoulder and very little else. I was genuinely surprised when he told me the session was over. My first thought was, "Wait, where was the rest of the massage?" I would really like to see Aire invest in more experienced massage therapists, especially since this appears to be a recurring concern among guests. That said, the massage experience did not ruin our visit. I would absolutely return, and I would still recommend Aire to my family, friends, and coworkers.

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM…read more Use Caution when booking. I booked my reservation on May 23, 2026 for July 19, 2026 for my 11 year anniversary. Showed up and it was closed due to construction issues with the city. I received no email or phone call that it would be closed. Very embarrassing. I've called over 6x asking asking for a refund $720. Each time I've called it the same response "sorry someone from our management team will call you back". Nobody ever calls me back. I disputed the issue with my credit card company and AIRE responded to them saying that the service was complete forcing me to open another investigation with the city and having to look in legal counsel to take them to court. I am beyond frustrated. Never thought this is how they would do business. Apart of me feels that they lost so much business during the time they were "under construction" that they can't afford to keep the lights on let alone issue a refund. I would stay away.

Incredible, Incredible, Incredible!! :)…read more I was definitely in need of a spa day and Waldorf Astoria is the BEST! Such an amazing, relaxing experience. From the warm welcome to the tea, snacks and champagne to the relaxing rainfall shower, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room--WOW! They thought of every detail, providing you with a serene experience. Wow! I came for a deep tissue performance massage from Mark, who not only was so friendly, accommodating, he also has almost 30 years of experience. He literally got every area. He asked me how the pressure was and then he made adjustments based on what I asked for. I really appreciate how professional he was as well. He even provided some water and a chocolate after my massage. Incredible service! It's all in the details. Cynthia was the spa attendant and she was great! So friendly, accommodating, so quick and on things. She warmly welcomed me, walked me through the facilities and the process. She served me tea in the lounge, offered me champagne and even helped me make sure my bikini got dried. Excellent service! Vanessa at the front desk was very friendly, so helpful and very organized. Excellent! The entire staff is very friendly! Amazing! I came out feeling so much better than when I came in, so relaxed, calm, amazing! We received an email before our visit asking if we would be able to switch our 10:30 appointments to 8:00 am or 11:45 am to accommodate another guest interested in services. Since we were visiting from out of town and had other plans, we were not able to switch to these times but eventually agreed to move to 9:15 even though it was not our preferred time. The attendants upon arrival were very friendly and welcoming. The eucalyptus steam sauna was closed for repair, which was not indicated when we booked. The dry sauna and hot tub were very small. As the morning went on it got incredibly busy. There were so many people waiting for appointments that there weren't enough chairs in the relaxation room, and it was very crowded by the vanity/mirrors and showers. Our treatments we good, not spectacular for the cost, but we expected expensive treatments on a busy weekend in Chicago. We were offered complimentary enhancements for switching appointment times-a face mask or eye mask. A nice touch but not nearly worth switching our plans around for. We had separate reservations to begin with but somehow when we were asked to move our reservation times, we were put on the same reservation. As a result, I was charged for my friend's service. We each made multiple calls to the spa to try to get it corrected. After at least four attempts to get it corrected over the phone, I emailed the spa. It took 8 days from when we were at the spa for them to begin processing a refund to my card. We were very surprised by all of this, especially at such a luxury spa.
