This is one of the massages that is actually EFFECTIVE. I have chronic pain and after 90 minutes here I am pain free for a week. I would go every week if I could! read more

Tried a 60 min combo massage today, a switch up from I have gotten here in the past. It was PERFECT! This IS A BEST KEPT SECRET OF CHICAGO! Fantastic deal for fantastic service!! Thankful I live close by! read more

Very decent, very well, priced, very clean. It's not a place with a super fancy feel, but it's a great place for a 1 hour massage. That is affordable and professional read more

I haven't been here in a while simply because I don't take the same way to work anymore. But I am so glad that we made the trek over here. It's honestly not even that far from the house. This place is totally amazing and such a great value. We felt like melted butter when we left. We each had the 60 minute deep tissue massage and then the 30 minute foot massage and we really needed it. After a stressful week at work, I especially had some computer related pain that he totally got melted away. My husband said we definitely have to start making this a routine because he was so excited - he never gets massages. read more

I can't believe I have never rated Kingston Reflexology before. My husband and I have been coming here for several years. Simple, clean, no frills. But you will definitely walk out of there a new person. First, like you're in a dream. Wake up Then, like butter. Drink a lot of water, have some green tea. They now have scented oils. I've never done it. No need for me. Go. Run there. You'll thank me later read more

My family and I went in for a 60-minute Swedish massage. Although they advertise they are a no frills, affordable massage place, their prices are the same as other reflexology massage places but the service is not as good. They did not ask for the reason for the visit, such as is it for aches, pain, soreness, etc. They didn't ask customers customers to take off their shoes and change into slippers. They didn't offer water after the massage either and massages make people thirsty. The massage was mechanical and not adapted to the customer. I'm used to massages where they can sense the knots and work them out, even at the reflexology places. Go to Top Feet in Roscoe Village. It's cheaper and better. I'm not sure how they got so many reviews and I'm wondering if the reviews are fake. At the end of the massage, they asked us to double our tip, which I felt was impolite. read more

My boyfriend and I booked a couple's massage for 60 min. We initially received a call if we would mind changing our appointment to a later time which is the reason for my 4-star rating. Other than that minor detail customer service was great and they made sure to ask if we were fine with a male and female masseuse. Pressure used was perfect. I was able to relax so much that I started to doze off!! Really quiet and tranquil spot. Great place in Portage Park to just relive some stress after work! read more

I love, love this place! It's clean, professional, & an absolute bargain! A 60 minute Swedish massage is $60 and a 60 minute deep tissue massage is $70. I've never had a bad experience. While it's not a luxurious spa experience, I don't necessarily want to pay those prices for a 1x a month massage, anyway! read more

My husband and I have been here a handful of times for a deep tissue couples massage. We both work on our feet for more than 12 hrs a day and our muscles are always so tight. Nina and Jason are great! This massage is more than comparable to high end spas that we have been to. What a gem in this neighborhood! read more

I was able to get in same day and got an EXCELLENT deep tissue massage. I had gotten a good recommendation for Kingston from a friend because I'm leaving the large-and-will-remain-unnamed massage chain because I can never get in for an appointment within a decent amount of time. When you need a masssage, you need a massage! Not TWO WEEKS OUT. I'd much rather support a local company. Kingston, I will be back. Thank you. read more

Horrible massage. I had an older short Asian lady with a bob haircut. She didn't put any pressure on me at all. I asked for more pressure and she was just rubbing me gently. It was such a waste of money. I decided to give this chance one more time and unfortunately, got the same lady. She still didn't put any pressure. Just rub. I kept telling her more pressure but she wouldn't. I felt like she thought I was dumb and just went along with her laziness. I walked out mad and told myself I would never get massage from here again. read more

This is a no frills spa that provides great service and value. Booking was easy and seamless, and the whole experience was professional. I had a deep tissue massage, and the masseuse made sure to check in regarding pressure a couple of times. They offered hot stones for $10 additional, and it is worth it! Especially on a cold winters day, the heat from the stones warmed my body. I left feeling far less muscle tension and very relaxed. This is a wonderful place to get regular massages to keep your body feeling great, and I'll be back! read more

Wouldn't recommend. I got a couples massage and was told I was supposed to ask for a foot massage, but since I didnt "talk" thats why it wasnt included. Second time here and I wont be back. The lady tried to force a $20 tip each, I told her "im not happy" i was supposed to leave happy. But of course she was only worried about her tip. Terrible job. I feel the exact same I felt when I walked thru their door. If you want a good massage go to Relax Feet on clybourn, $28/hour . & they massage your feet without asking.. read more

I recently had a 90 min deep tissue massage at Kingston Reflexology. I went in feeling stiff as a board and walked out loose like a wet noodle. I can't remember my masseuse's name but she worked on my muscle tightness in my back and in my neck as well as all the knots. Relaxing atmosphere reasonable prices make this place fantastic in my book. read more

I was in despite need of a massage today and I am glad I made the stop! There was absolutely no wait. I purchased the 30 minute back and 30 minute foot massage for $45. Let me tell you, my therapist was amazing. She exactly knew how much pressure to apply. She offered more time but I felt if I stayed on that bed any longer I would not be going anywhere! At some points I cut myself snoozing. You know a message is good when you fail asleep. I will be returning as I will Kingston Reflexology my go to from now on. Plus there is a Yelp check-in offer for a free sauna offer with a 90 minute message. read more

Kingston Reflexology Management, So I normally love coming here and come here often. I've brought almost every person in my family and often buy gift certificates as gifts. However tonight was a real disappointment. My cousin and I booked massages together. Twice throughout the appointment the woman who was massaging my cousin left the room to answer the phone! Also her phone kept falling out of her pocket and hitting my cousin while she was getting her massage. Then they didn't have change to break a $20 for tipping. So my cousin was forced to give the woman who worked on her a $20 tip even though she got sub par service. My massage was just ok so I tipped $10 being that they didn't have change to break a $20 and the only other bill I had on me was a $10, which was a more than fair amount. However, the woman had the nerve to complain $10 was not enough of a tip since my cousin tipped her woman $20 (even though she was forced to because they didn't have change to break the $20) This is absolutely horrible customer service! To leave a massage TWICE to answer the phone. To not have change to break a $20 for tipping. And then to complain about a $10 tip! That's ridiculous! This is the one and only time I've had this happen here. I certainly hope you address this issue with your staff because this was extremely unacceptable and should not be tolerated at ANY establishment. If this is not addressed my family, friends and I will be taking our business elsewhere. Also we were charged an extra $2 each to pay with our credit cards! read more

I was looking for an affordable massage that is close to my house. "Kingston Reflexology," near the Six Corners area in Portage Park, had a stellar rating, and I read through a few Yelp reviews just so I could roughly get a picture of what this place was about. Although I believe I've had a better experience elsewhere in the past, I would say my 60-minute combo massage deal wasn't too shabby. The lady who performed the work on me spoke limited English. I guess I could have communicated with her in Chinese, yet there wasn't a need since the pressure she applied was fine for the most part. Overall, I felt comfortably relaxed, with soothing, peaceful music playing in the background. In other words, it was what I would expect for $45. The hot towels she had laid on me weren't too hot. Thank God because she didn't give me a heads up BEFORE she rubbed them on my body and feet. She systematically and thoroughly worked through my back, my neck, my arms, and finished up on my feet. No shortcuts were made. Yes, as some other Yelpers mentioned in their reviews, the walls between rooms were thin. I could hear every slamming door, but I booked the last appointment of the day at 8:30pm and was the only patron at that time. The disturbance, therefore, was very minute. They do prefer tipping in cash. Option to leave a tip on your credit card is available, yet a $2 convenience fee will be added. I will probably book another session with them in the future because they open late, and I can easily make an appointment on their website. read more

Had a great deep tissue massage given by Nina. She worked out several knots I had. The scalp massage was amazing as well. The establishment is clean and professional. read more

This is NOT a professional massage. I got a 60 min deep tissue which was $70. It was not deep tissue and not good. It was an Asian woman jabbing her elbow into my spinal column and she did not massage my neck or my arms. This was a $28 Chinese Accupressure massage performed with rubber gloves on that I paid $80 for. I'm not sure where the positive reviews came from. Shady. Save your money and go to Relax Feet and get a better massage for $28. read more

This place is amazing. Every single massage therapist I've had has been a 12/10--Rita is my favorite though. Their prices are soooo reasonable. I live in the south suburbs of Chicago but found this place before I moved there and I will drive an hour for this place. Just go. Stop looking on Yelp for other places. read more

Great 60 minute massage! Clean place and nice customer service. I will be back for another massage.

Came here for a 90 minute couples massage. To start off the massage started 10 minutes late. Through the massage the masseuse left the room multiple times to see who came in and answer their questions. Realizing they were the only two in the shop I assumed I would get an extra few minutes since he left the room multiple times; however, our massage ended exactly at 90 minutes not even compensating the 10 minutes they started late. To top it off at the end lady (Lina) then demanding I give them more of a "tip" because my tip was too "little", for the service our tip was plenty. I explained that tips are optional and that I did not need to give her more. She continued to be extremely rude and demanding. I definitely do not recommend going here. read more

Would not recommend. Rundown and sloppy looking. Staff don't communicate well. The pressure of my massage was pretty poor and for some reason a towel was thrown over my face at start (no warning! As I said, zero communication. Didn't ask about current aches and pains etc), I couldn't breathe most of the session:(( icing on the cake however was when guy griped about wanting more of a tip (??)- I HATE places where they feel like they can bully customer into tips that they most definitely DON'T deserve, so beyond tacky and inappropriate ! Almost all the storefronts around this place vacant too. With what I experienced today, not sure this place will continue either yikes. Highly recommend going to Intuit or Allyu for massage instead. read more

1st time visit. Excellent male therapist. Massage was Deep tissue as requested & Pressure was perfect. And $69 for the deep tissue, great price! I will return. read more

Starter off not on a great foot. When I got the email it said to arrive 5 minutes early which I did but the doors were locked, I called the number on the door, someone answered and said they were 10 minutes away. When they arrived and the massage started it was amazing. I enjoyed every second on the massage and will definitely be going back. read more

The best thing about this place was probably the price and the proximity to my home. Everything else was just meh. I walked into my appointment and he asked if I preferred a man or woman. I said woman and he responds with, "Oh... they're all working." ....ok why did you ask then? So I said male was fine. They put a pillow at the headrest for some reason. I didn't know why so I laid on it thinking he'll pull it away and tell me to put my head through the headrest when he started. He didn't and I spent the entire massage trying to breath through one side of my nose... At this point, I lost all expectation for a good massage and thought, let's get this over with. The table creaked with every move he made. He pretty much gave me a Swedish massage when I asked for a deep tissue (I had pulled my neck and had horrible neck and shoulder pain.) I felt like he was barely putting any pressure at all. He asked how the pressure was and I told him that I wanted more pressure but nothing really changed at all. The worst part was that at times, he was rubbing my back with his arm and then he would just come to a halt. No movement at all. Because he was using his forearms, I could feel that he was leaned over and I could hear his breathing. This happened a couple of times and lasted about 5-10 seconds until I would adjust myself to hint that I was awake and WTH was he doing. It was incredibly awkward and I just wanted to get out of there immediately. If I ever try it again for the price, I'll make sure I get a female next time to avoid that incredible awkwardness. read more

Did some shopping in the area, then headed here for the 2 for 1 special on their Yelp page. The whole place is very clean with calm ambient lighting for you to relax. We came on a dead day so we were lucky get treated right away. After getting settled in, both masseuses got right to business without hesitation. I noticed many knots in my back and shoulder as I was worked on. It took about 20 painful elbow rolls over each of them to get rid of too. I must say that I was very impressed with the performance of my masseuse. At one point, I noticed she got on top of my back and used her knees to release a lot of tension on my lats and lower back. It was amazeballs! I even had goosebumps throughout majority of the session. Totally forgot to ask for her name since we were in a rush. Just ask for the girl with the pony tail that uses her knees Haha! Overall, the staff did great and were very professional during the whole process. Recommend to anyone in need nearby. FYI they add $2 if you choose to tip with your credit card. read more

I was looking for a local place for a deep tissue massage. I got the 90 minutes combo (60 minute deep tissue and 30 minute foot reflexology.) I also used the infrared sauna which was a nice add on feature. I will definitely come here again. The decor was new and clean. The rooms were spacious and sauna was private. There is a shower available for use. I left relaxed and with my knots released in my shoulders. It was a great value for $85. The staff was very nice, professional and skilled. read more

I received a gift certificate for my birthday for a deep tissue massage. The place is clean, pretty and pretty straightforward. No extra bells and whistles like cucumber water or other dodads. However let's not get it twisted this place is hands down a gem!! My masseuse (hmmm did I spell that right?...whatever lol ) was amazing I mean amazing. She had a great technique, really went in there to breakdown the tension/stiffness in my upper back, legs, etc. Her process was so clean too. Meaning hot towels for the back (yay!!). I am beyond excited. There is a tiny bit of a language barrier but you and they will get the points across. Such a lovely place I'M sold!! Go see them !!! read more

So I'm writing this review on Yelp to let everyone know that this is the place to come and get the best foot and body massage ever.. I was completely satisfied with the service I was provided with at Kingston Reflexology.. Tina was my masseuse both times I visited and can say from my personal experience that she is just Great and will continue seeing her ... The establishment itself is clean and very comfortable to be in ... Front desk and staff were very nice and friendly (lots of smiles) and just made me feel welcomed.. Hope this helps for all you YELPERS out there! !! read more

Long overdue. They do a really good job. I had the deep tissue massage on my first visit. And have been back 3 times for that. Second time a foot massage. Had Ana do both. I love when they can do it really hard, Ana was able to do it perfectly. I hate when at some of the other places I could barely feel anything. Not everyone likes that, but I do. It was $40 for deep tissue . Don't remember the price of the foot massage as I had my boyfriend with me this time, and he was the one paying. Very clean, professional and relaxing. Also the cheapest I have ever paid for a massage. Can't wait to come back. read more

For at least 5 years, I have been coming to this place for amazing services! It is important to me that when I call them at any given time, they always have availability. It is peaceful, clean and even customizes some of the massage to my liking, since I go there regularly. In addition, the prices really help to promote me taking care of myself and taking time to relax while I am there. They even offer specials from time to time upon their already reasonable prices! read more

Had a terrible head and body ache. Made a same day appointment with no issues. Had Rita as my masseuse. She was excellent. I had really bad knots in my back and shoulders and she worked hard and applied the right amount of pressure in different areas to try and get them out. It was a relaxing experience for me and I will definitely be back. read more

I give it a 1 star because customer service was horrible! I'm an esthetician and have been working in the industry for years! I went in for the sauna and relaxing massage for my mother and I. From the moment I called to make an appointment the lady on the phone already seemed pretty rude in the way she spoke. Either way I made the appointment because of some of the good reviews and I wanted to try a new place. As soon as we entered the lady in front said "you have an appointment?". Didn't even bother to greet or say hello to us. She took us into the sauna room and didn't explain what to do or how long we will be in there. The massage was scheduled for 7:30. It was already 7:40 and the lady said they didn't have a room available yet. We waited Until she took us into the massage room and again... she didn't explain anything just walked us in and closed the door.... the ladies for the massage didn't say hello or ask us if we had any pain anywhere in our body or what we wanted to be targeted more ...... the massage itself was pretty good .... at the end of the services, When checking out the lady didn't ask if we were leaving a tip. She said "so how are you leaving the tip" And I'm sorry I hate to leave a bad review but I wouldn't want this for anyone ! Especially when anyone that goes for a service is because they want to feel welcome and relaxed. Customer service should be number 1 at any place!!!!!! I was clueless half the time which didn't make me feel relaxed. ... I wouldn't recommend. read more

This place is a scam! Not only was my massage not good. As I was leaving I paid and gave a $10 tip. They said I had to tip more because it is policy! This made me extremely uncomfortable. It is also illegal for them to demand a higher tip for a shitty service! Don't go here! read more

Pros: No appointment necessary, you can walk right in. Even at 8pm they will take you Affordable- 60 minutes for $40 deep tissue Nice disposition Clean Cons: Massage therapist has strong hands....even says "No pain no gain" Will continue to massage hard, even when whincing from pain Not sure they are certified therapist Though I had a sheet over the top portion of my body, the therapist asked me to turn over while I was topless, just to massage my temples? Not sure why.... i was uncomfortable Day after I had to go to Urgent Care for a muscle relaxer prescription because I was so tense and sore from the massage With all that said, go at your own risk......I give it three stars because they are very nice and the place is affordable and clean. They just were not the right place for me. read more

I purchased a 90-minute deep tissue massage through LivingSocial for this place. I made the reservation the day before and was told that they had openings the next day. The place itself is nice looking and clean. However, the deep tissue massage was nothing more than a rub down although I requested more pressure. HOWEVER, the part that TOTALLY unprofessional was what occurred after I was on the massage table for 20 minutes. In the midst of my massage, I heard someone walk in off the street and ask for a massage as a walk-in. The guy also stated that he had a friend with him. The woman at the front desk stated that she could accommodate them. The woman then walked into my massage room and stated that they needed to shorten my massage to 30 minutes to accommodate another paying customers despite the fact that I had a reservation. So yes, I got off the table with 60 minutes left so that they could take a full price paying customer. Apparently the woman forgot that since the massage rooms do not have ceilings that you can clearly hear the conversations which take place in the lobby. Rest assured, I will never choose this place for ongoing service. I was told I could re-schedule for the remaining 60 minutes another day. After I posted this Yelp review, BELIEVE IT OR NOT, the woman called and email me to complain about this review and I was told that they would NOT honor my remaining 60 minutes. She told me to call LivingSocial for a refund...although she already redeemed the voucher. I have NEVER experienced this level of insanity from a business in this manner. Fortunately, LivingSocial was more than willing to refund my money. Even they couldn't believe the story until I forwarded this actual message below from the woman: Kim C. sent you a message on Yelp: Subject: we are not going to honor your LS voucher "Please note: kingstonreflexology will not honor your voucher anymore, please dont show up your appt 8/19th. you could said no when i was asking you if it is ok to reschedule so i didnt have to take another customer. (NOTE: She did not ask me if it was okay; I was told that they needed to end my appointment) I dont appriciate what you wrote on yelp. you can call LS for get refund but i dont need your business" So Beware of bad business practices!!! read more

I give 4 stars for the quality of the massage. It was pretty good - though I think my husband's masseuse (Tina) has a lot more experience than mine (didn't catch her name). There were moments when my masseuse put pressure on my spine or when she stretched my leg too quickly that caused unnecessary pain. I give 2 stars for service though. It would have been nice if they would ask us where our trouble areas were. I actually told my masseuse that I would like more work on my shoulders and head, but she proceeded with the standard progression and spent half of the time on my legs. It was good but I still have my tension headache. Moreover, our masseuse asked for $40 tip for the couple massage, which was $120 for 60 minutes. Really, are we tipping 33% now? I understand that the price is lower than most places, but I'm not sure if it's ethical to make up the difference by demanding a larger tip. Speaking of amenities, the receptionist leads you to the room where you'll have your massage and that's where you and your partner change. No robes, just towels. There weren't hangers or a place to put your clothes, just pile it up on the sofa. read more

So happy. I had been suffering with back pain (being a nail tech and constantly hunched over), my back had all but seized-up. I called Kingston and they were able to get me in when i needed. I showed up about 20 minutes early and they took me right away. I was asked if I wanted water or to use the restroom first, which was very much appreciated. I was shown to my room and asked some questions, we discussed my issues, and she understood very well what I needed. My therapist was thorough and incredible. There was a bit of a language barrier, but all I had to do was point and she knew what I meant! She dug out all of my awful knots and god knows what from my back, my legs, my arms, my shoulders! These people are GOOD. the massage comes complete with hot towels. I loved it. And the price cannot be beat. This place is very clean, the sheets and towels smell really good, and they layer everything with disposable (but comfortable) paper as well. I will most definitely be back. I am looking forward to going back, I even hugged the therapist before I left! read more

It was my second time here and we got placed in the room right away. I came with my father and they asked where to focus gave us separate rooms. I had Lucy and my dad had Eason. My experience was much better this time, I felt adequate pressure and she focused on my lower back and removed the knots one by one. This was probably the best deep tissue I've had. My dad also liked it too. The atmosphere is very relaxing. read more
