Someone else answered, and less than a minute later the other employee shouted a question to my massage therapist. SHE BEGAN A FULL FLEDGED CONVERSATION WITH THIS PERSON. Never mind that I was on the table, naked under a sheet, and in the middle of what was supposed to be a 90 minute period of time for me to relax. At about the 50 minute mark, she said to me "No more extra 30 minute, I busy." Quite pissed off, I pointed out that I was there first, which she ignored and repeated "Sorry, I busy." What could I say or do about it in that position? Nothing. On the way out she tried to smile and offer me a bottle of water. I said no, and repeated to her "You should take care of the person who was here first", and continued on my way out, extremely insulted. She ignored every word I said and tried to stop me, saying "Tip, tip tip." You've gotta be effin kidding me. After that level of disrespect? Absolutely not. There is no way for me to know if this was a skin thing or just awful customer service, but either way this place will never get another dollar from me. That was completely disrespectful.

The room was dimly lit, very clean and there was pleasant tranquil piano music. I loved the atmosphere. My masseuse (Amy) was very good: she asked me beforehand about ongoing issues, told me to warn her if whatever she was doing hurt, and asked my permission to also massage my head/hair (apparently not everybody wants that- it was so good!) I liked that Amy made sure to give attention to my leg which I have injured, without ignoring it all together or overdoing things. I could tell from her technique she knows what she is doing. I will definitely be checking back if there are deals to go here again, or ask for a gift card for Christmas.

It is sort of a combination of Thai & Swedish massage where they knead & stretch you like a dough and walk on your back, etc. (It may feel weird if you think the hotel spa massage is the only kind of massage.) The woman on the phone's English wasn't great but from what I understood she asked me if I could make it before they close at 9:30. I said I could and at 9:00 the woman started calling me asking where I was. I had parked a block away and said I was walking over to Ashland. She called me a liar because there was "tons of parking" on Ashland and I tried to explain that I didn't park on Ashland because it was a snow route (there was snow on the ground) but she didn't understand me. She just kept saying "I DON'T SEE YOU! You're not here!" before hanging up. There were a few cars on the street, but I was in an hourly zipcar rental and it would've been costly if I got towed. Plus, as you can see in the screenshot, I had time. I saw her lock up and leave as I was crossing the street at the corner. I kept calling and she texted me. "Sorry too late." Which makes zero sense because I wasn't late and she said was willing to take me for a 30 minute or 60 minute massage. If I were late, why not just say that she could only take a 30 minute massage? The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth and it sucks for them because I would've loved to find a late night massage place as I'm often up late.

Also, the choppy English can get in the way sometimes, it's hard to take directions when the directions aren't clear. Cash only is a hinderance. Also, my treatment ended probably 5 mins or so early.
