This wasn't my first time here. I came 2 months ago and got a pedicure with some friends, one of my…read morefriends goes here a lot and raved about it. I came here the other day for a pedicure and shellac manicure. When the girl was grating off the calused part of my foot, she took a chunk of my skin off. I started bleeding and it wouldn't stop. Now, i know it was an honest mistake and she was sorry about it, my problem was how they handled it. She spoke her language with some other technician (no idea if that was the manager) and put a bandaid on it. The manager didn't come to me, nor did anything, no one seemed to care she had accidentally done this. Just a 'oh so sorry' and continued along after putting a band aid on. Afterwards I got a shellac manicure, but the manicure is soooo bumpy, so many bubbles and not evenly done (like it wasn't painted evenly) It kind of sucks because I've heard so many good things about this place, but I also heard that lately they've been over booking and their quality isn't near what they used to be. Clearly after my experience I agree. When I went to pay they charged me full price everything, no discount or anything after they injured me (getting cut on the ball of your foot is annoying to have to walk on afterwards since I couldn't put any pressure if i didn't want it stinging) The only reason i didn't make a fuss was because i was there for all ready 2 hours and was running late for a dance practice (which now i had to sit out from....) Not impressed. Not going back.

After revisiting Elora Mill on numerous occasions - brunches, lunches, casual dinners, special…read moreoccasion dinners, spa days, etc. I've gotten the privilege to really try most of their menu. Quality of food and service is most always on point. The views and spa experience are unmatched from any other 'Mill' sister restaurants. For example - On one of our dinners here, the waiter brought a complimentary Elora Mill teddy bear to give my baby niece since it was her first visit AND an Elora mill chocolate bar since we were such a big fan of their hot chocolate. I also really appreciate how much they value their local clientele and fellow hospitality industry workers - they regularly have promotions on their website with deals/discounts during certain times of the year. Furthermore, I love all the special events and discounts they have for their spa experiences & stays. I think that keeps the regulars excited to keep coming back. Amazing work Elora Mill!

We went there for my birthday. Right from the time we stepped into the restaurant to the time we…read morestepped out, the welcoming manner of the staff and their pleasantness were truly remarkable. At least 2 or 3 staff members wished me a happy birthday ( not just the main waiter). Small things like that help reinforce the importance of hospitality in service settings. We were seated at the lower solarium right at the edge of the gorge with amazing views of the gorge and cascading water. We had brunch and the food was just as amazing as the view. All in all a wonderful place.

Well, I must be totally wrong as I looked at a list of WaySpa spas and selected one from the WaySpa website, Hillside Spa. It looked very nice on the website so I booked a couples massage for my husband for his birthday. As soon as we entered the front door we wanted to turn and leave. It was very run-down, no one was at the reception desk and I could very clearly hear the ladies in the salon section talking and laughing very loudly. The floors were dirty and the parts with rugs looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. There was a small waiting room with 2 chairs for guests and 2 chairs for nails (high chairs draped with a piece of brown material to actually hide the chairs) and a curtain as a wall and we were offered tea (as promised in website) but they did not carry sugar or milk. We were promised robes and slippers upon arrival (per WaySpa website)...there were none offered and I didn't see a robe in site. We were then brought into a very small room with 2 massage beds in it. There were only sheets on the bed, nothing else to keep you warm. One bottom and one top sheet, with stains on them. The massage lasted 45 min instead of an hour and the girls didn't even touch our feet (sometimes best part of a massage). We will definitely never go back and now I know not to trust a spa just because it's affiliated with WaySpa.

I put on slippers (they provide) and grabbed a blanket and headed into the healing salt cave that was 65 degrees. The indoor hot tub and salt sauna were both quite spacious, and while the three outside pools were much smaller, they were great for working through the circuit of varying temperatures. There's also a dry sauna you access from that area. You get unlimited use of the facility for three hours, which is quite a good deal. We are big fans of nordic contrast circuits and have visited plenty of similar spas in various cities and countries. For the price, this one covers all the bases very well with few frills, and that's okay with us. The service was good, and the employees friendly, even if they did seem a bit overworked at times. This location isn't as luxurious in its other amenities as some other options in nearby Niagara-On-The-Lake, so if you're after a full pampering experience, you might look into one of those, but the much lower cost here made it a worthwhile trade-off for us. Plus the location is convenient to a lot of other sites and restaurants, and free parking is included. All in all, good facilities, good people, good price point. We will be back again for sure!

We both had our inferred session same day together Monday afternoon. He had his facial same day Monday-he said he really enjoyed it. He face was very dewy and moisturized . Pleasant experience. My spa session on Tuesday was good; I'm am so glad i booked early morning bc I had the place to myself for almost two hours. Remember I said petite.Yes it a cute space to relax if you have an hour or so. Tried the Himalayan salt sauna larger pool; open shower, dry sauna and hottest whirlpool(it was mild). The cold plunge whirlpool was good. I enjoyed my time. They have three whirlpools outside fits 4 comfortably maybe 5 strangers. I had them to myself so it was wonderful. Overall it was a great experience for me. They seem to offer full spa services from what I saw as I walked around. The spa gets a 4 star due to amenities cleanliness and offerings. Although small the space was utilized well. I am very big on customer service and the Tuesday staff was clearly not morning people; thus the reason for the overall 3 stars.
