This wasn't my first time here. I came 2 months ago and got a pedicure with some friends, one of my friends goes here a lot and raved about it. I came here the other day for a pedicure and shellac manicure. When the girl was grating off the calused part of my foot, she took a chunk of my skin off. I started bleeding and it wouldn't stop. Now, i know it was an honest mistake and she was sorry about it, my problem was how they handled it. She spoke her language with some other technician (no idea if that was the manager) and put a bandaid on it. The manager didn't come to me, nor did anything, no one seemed to care she had accidentally done this. Just a 'oh so sorry' and continued along after putting a band aid on. Afterwards I got a shellac manicure, but the manicure is soooo bumpy, so many bubbles and not evenly done (like it wasn't painted evenly) It kind of sucks because I've heard so many good things about this place, but I also heard that lately they've been over booking and their quality isn't near what they used to be. Clearly after my experience I agree. When I went to pay they charged me full price everything, no discount or anything after they injured me (getting cut on the ball of your foot is annoying to have to walk on afterwards since I couldn't put any pressure if i didn't want it stinging) The only reason i didn't make a fuss was because i was there for all ready 2 hours and was running late for a dance practice (which now i had to sit out from....) Don't forget they also do waxing here! I was on a hunt for a place with reasonable prices where I could get a half leg wax and Brazilian. I called so many places and it is almost impossible to find a spa open on a Sunday. Thank god I found this place and it's close to home! I came because almost all the reviews raved about how clean this place was and that's what I was looking for. I've been to other people that work from their home and they are not that cleanly. I also do not like when they double dip the stick in the wax. That's a no no. Both waxes were great, especially the Brazilian! She really pays attention to detail and DOES NOT double dip the stick! Phew! She works in very small sections, so she gets all the hairs. For the leg wax she uses one of those roll on wax devices. They sell a Nair version of this, ladies you might know what I'm talking about. I would have liked if she used the stick and wax pot for the leg wax but that's okay. It's much faster this way. She still got all the hairs and even tweezed the ones that were too short. Her prices are so reasonable and I don't mind paying the extra for a place that is clean. Seriously, she's been open for two years and her place is pretty clean. It's like she deep cleans every day lol. This will be my new go to place for all my waxes. Definitely the best nail spa in canada so far !! It brand new so not too many people know about this place . It's super clean n pretty. The owner is the only one there, tons of options on nail color including shellac. Best part was the amount of time n care she took. 1.5 hours for mani pedi . I wanted to try a new place as I was having trouble finding a really good place for a pedi. I came her today for a pedi and must say they charge $28 which is a few bucks more that some others but the pedi. Are with a scrub, hot stone massage hot towel and a little bit more massage. I like the pedi and booked another appointment for Nails tomorrow. They seems to take their time and seeing that the place is small call ahead to book an appointment. Will give feedback after I get Nails. I would recommend this place. It is very clean as well. The website has a full price list. Which is nice. Ok so I did say I would give feedback on the biogel Nails the jury is still out. I have added a pic of my Nails. They only have the pink gel which is disappointing to start a small detail I forgot to ask but nevertheless got them done it was overlay so it cost me $50 with shellac and French. Not the same pampering with my feet but the girl was quick and I would have like it a bit thinner. Either way was not overly impressed and must say they didn't wow me. Don't hate it either. I may just give them another try a a fill and them decide. I will post again in 2-3 weeks after my fill. Been here a few times. A+ on all fronts. Competitive pricing- comparable, if not better, than most walk in nail places. They only have 2 girls working there (from what I've seen) so I would recommend making an appointment- even within a couple hours of when you'd like to go - but I've seen people walk in. I always just call an hour or 2 ahead so I don't need to wait and so the girls don't feel rushed since there's only 2 of them. Quick yet thorough service (I appreciate getting in and out with a well done mani pedi and brows in less than 2 hours). Friendly service and they know what they're doing. Never had a mani/ pedi chip prematurely or peel from here. They're also not pushy with services like some places. Most importantly it is very clean- I've never felt like I may get an infection or my feet were soaking in someone else's dead skin (we've all been to that place where you're pretty sure there's crap floating in the water lol). I've been to many nail salons in the GTA and this one is fantastic, better service and results than even some boutique/ hotel spas. Waxing here was also well done. I have been going to this nail salon for a few years now. I was so happy to see they are still open and doing well after the pandemic. I went there today for a shellac mani/pedi after over a year! Their salon is clean and they put a plastic bag in the tub for your feet so it's more sanitary. They always sterilize their instruments. I always go back for their hot stone massage, it's so relaxing and it's always part of their pedicure. They also massage your hands for your manicure which is great too. They're also always very nice and pleasant, and gentle on your cuticles! The quality of their mani/pedi is quite good. They work quite fast, I find their shellac to be the best quality compared to regular polish in terms of a neat job. My only hesitation in posting this review is that more people will discover them and their schedule will get too busy for me lol. read more

Quyen is the best! I only and always go to her. She takes care of her clients and will do whatever to make sure they walk out happy just as they came in. I went here because of the Yelp reviews. It did not disappoint. Very quiet and peaceful atmosphere (except some banging from the people above the salon- maybe kids running around?). They had a giant TV screen in the salon but it was turned off, would have been nice to have it on- but I didn't ask. They were sold out of two shellac colours I was interested in but I managed to find something suitable. This place was very clean and the massage chairs were amazing! I would definitely go back! One suggestion I have (same goes for every salon I've ever been to) is to spend a little more time and energy on the foot massage and hand massage as I feel that's the best part of a mani/pedi! Very good service but make sure you book in advance! They do fill up quite quickly and generally dont do walkins. The owner makes sure the place is clean, which for me is # 1. Went for a spa pedi and a Brazilian wax before my vacation. Wanted to give 5 stars for the pedicure as it was phenomenal, she did an excellent job and was very quick and efficient without me feeling like she was rushing. The whole ordeal was done, wax included in under an hour! The wax though is where things got bad. I work as an aesthetician and perform waxing, but we do not offer hard wax at my spa so I decided to try another. I specifically went here because the website says they do hard wax- which I later at my appointment found out was not the case. I decided to go ahead and get waxed anyways because she was great with the pedi and all the reviews said they're great with waxing too! Clearly that's dependant on who you get though. All my hair is broken! Barely pulled anything out from the root, I might as well have shaved and not dealt with the irritation. Also she did not pull my skin taught AT ALL I almost made her stop because it hurt so bad, not to mention my skin is completely raw now. Extremely poor experience with the waxing but AMAZING pedicure! All done by the same girl, didn't catch her name but she was very sweet so I probably wouldn't mention it anyways. read more

I've been to Tranquil Moments a few times, price is great, shellac manicure was pretty good, no complaints there (I've had better, but I've also had way worse!). I really thought I had found a new place I could become a regular at. Since they take appointments via text they often get the dates and times wrong. I've showed up twice to be told that they've put me in on the wrong day and since they're so small, there's no one there to take me. They say sorry, but don't really do anything to make you want to come back. Sadly I've had to find another nail salon. read more

I went there with a group of 4 girls not exactly knowing if appointments would be needed, but since we all lived nearby, we decided to check it out. The place was great indeed, appointments were requested upon arrival which is ok since we would have been able to return, but they ONLY paint your nails, meaning no acrylic nails or gel nails can be done. That's a big let down if you really want the full nail set. For this reason, this place is not worth it for me or for my friends to pay a little bit more without being able to get a full set. read more

This place is a gem in Brampton. It's not hard to find. Depending on which side you're coming from it's the little home (looks like) before you get to the Walmart plaza. In between queen and Williams pkwy. I make appointments so that was fine. Only 2 aestheticians. Be prepared to wait a bit.
