Mind you, even tho I was hurting, I was going to let her do her magic without me complaining. An hour later, she spent a good 5 - 10 to refocus on that area again before our time was up. The finished product looked great but I didn't realize until I got home that she didn't properly exfoliate my feet. The nail polish chipped within days. Talk about cheap products!! Firstly, she buffed them incorrectly so there were scratches and slight grooves on the surfaces of my nails. My nails were not like that before she did my manicure. Secondly the cheap nail polish she used stained my nails pink. I went into another nail salon to see if they could fix the damage to my nails. Even the technician looked in shock when she saw the shoddy work that was done on them. I will never go back. I can't believe I tipped these guys. P.S just so you know they double dipped with the cuticle oil just as I was finished my pedi knowing full well that the brush was used on other people's feet. Trust me I won't go back

I booked a massage and wanted to possibly get my eyebrows and nose waxed but wasn't too sure how comfortable I would be. I asked the receptionist on the phone if I could book 30 minutes with the waxing specialist and then a 60 Minute massage. Calling the day of and last minute I was expecting to be told nothing was available. To my surprise Pietro Pantenella was available. I showed up at my appointment time and was greeted by Pietro. Ok five stars for customer service from the moment I walked in. Pietro showed me to the room and I got to ask questions about if waxing hurt and what their process was. Again five stars. Pietro saw I was unsure of services I wanted but he quickly put me at ease with his calm and relaxing demeanor. Throughout the time In the spa he spent the time to check in with me to make sure I was doing ok. Not sure about you but after seeing the 40 year old virgin movie and watching Steve Carrell get waxed, I was nervous. A little pricey but my Overall experience was nothing but five stars and thank you to Pietro for making me feel relaxed and comfortable. I highly recommend BODE spa. Ask for Pietro.

This means they don't over book to limit the number of customers inside the facility so I felt really safe while I was there. The only complaint I had was there wasn't any beverages or snacks available in the lounge are but I assume it's for health and safety reasons. Their Hammam Turkish Bath, and body treatments are also a treat. They provide you with a turkish wrap, robe, towels, and flip-flops for your visit so you don't need need bring too much with you on your visit. The use of their co-ed eucalyptus oil infused stream room (great for couples) is also complimentary with most services over $100. The exception are mainly a few facials as this can make your skin sensitive for the treatment. NEGATIVES: my experience here the past couple of years has been mixed, as the service is not as consistent as it used to be, the prices inflated quite a bit, and a lot of the staff appears to be changing more frequently than it used to. My rating for Hammam Spa fluctuates mostly between 3 and 4 based on my visits since the end of 2021 to the present. While the renovation is nice, the spa feels a little less cozy than it used to. I've also had a period of terrible service (with treatments and online orders) around the end of 2021 to early 2022, which made me take a break from this place, but things have improved since. They also recently replaced their plush white robes with shorter, thin robes made in the same fabric as their turkish wraps.
