So my fiancée had a gift card and after doing some research, Jade Spa was the one that was close by and could take me in ASAP and the only one who did cupping! The staff are beyond friendly and although it may not look like much aesthetically, these ladies know what they are doing! I got a cupping session done for 30 mins. Been here twice for RMT massage and both times I have fully enjoyed the experience. The ladies are very friendly and they just give off the vibe that they like working there which really makes a difference in customer service. The massages themselves were amazing. I feel so renewed after each one. I have been to a lot of massage places and this is definitely one of the best. Very attentive RMTs and really worked out the knots on my back. Me and two of my other friends came across their Caribana special for about $100! It included back exfoliation, back massage, pedicure/manicure and facial. The staff was extremely kind, professional and super friendly. They were very considerate and helpful. Only thing is they could have explained to us what they were doing, especially during the facial but aside from that it was an amazing deal for a great price. I got the best massage I've ever had by Lily! She quickly spotted all the sore areas and knew exactly how to make it better. I walked out of Jade Clinic feeling like jelly, free of all knots and tensions. The price is very reasonable for the quality of their work. I'll definitely be coming back. The only downside is that the Clinic is located by a busy intersection, so it can get a bit noisy at times (but not to the point that it disturbed my peace and relaxation). I went for the Royal Spa Package, which includes mani, pedi, massage, body exfoliation and facial. The space is kind of small and awkward, but the service was pretty good. I like the fact that one aesthetician for all the services because it avoids the client having to repeat info several times. My aesthetician was very good (I don't recall her name!!!). She made sure I was comfortable through the sessions and she was amazing. My favorite part was the massage and exfoliation part. I was there on a Saturday and it was super busy. The only reason I won't give the review 5 stars is because towards the end, while at the facial, the manager kept coming into the room to talk to my aesthetician because they seemed to have double booked her. At the end of the appointment the manager asked the girl to go an help someone else and she finished my facial. She wasn't nearly as nice so yeah... I recommend the premium packages (they are great price wise too), but perhaps do it on a less busy day. read more

The website makes the place look a lot nicer than it actually is. It looks old and needs a good upgrade. When we arrive, one of the lady was just eating and the kitchen is right across one of the massage room... which is kind of tacky... I'm no stranger to the spa experience. So I was happy to find this little gem -- and they're part of the SpaFinder group, so I was hoping to use my gift certificate. I pre-booked online 2 weeks in advance through Cleverfox. Was pleasantly surprised to receive THREE confirmation emails leading up to the appointment date. I was also able to directly contact the spa to change up my package options. Spoke with Linna who was very helpful and confirmed everything for me. Arrived for my appointment to find that they had no idea what the schedule for the day was -- their computer was down. But they took me anyway because it was empty. They couldn't take my gift certificate because they couldn't connect to the SpaFinder site. My unexpected arrival clearly threw them off completely which may explain this next little fiasco... Finally, I was prepped for my massage when my therapist arrived with my hot paraffin wax treatment for my pedicure. I guess blasting all of your heating equipment on high for that unexpected customer can be blamed for the 1st degree burns I now have on my feet. Needless to say the massage and back scrub occurred in an extremely tense setting. I'm happy to have survived this experience, but I think I'm obligated to warn anyone seeking professional spa treatment. This place terrifies me! read more

I came here for a pedicure and massage. I was a walk-in and the staff was very sweet and accommodating. The pedicure was good given that it only cost $35 for a spa pedicure. No complaints with that. The massage was incredible. I've been for quite a few massages, and this was the best I've ever received. I will definitely be back for this service. The decor could use an upgrade and the place didn't seem to be very clean. In spite of this though, I would recommend for the price. read more

This place is great to treat yourself to a relaxing massage. The staff always greet me with a warm welcome. Not only are their prices extremely fair but the staff are all very professional and take extra care to be tentative to your well-being. Last night I had Mary who corrected a disc in my spine better than any chiropractor ever had (sorry Dr. Kim). I came here today for a massage, paraffin and a manicure. I had Pearl as my beautician, she was very detail oriented and I was happy with my manicure! The massage was ok, not the best I've had but I did leave feeling more relaxed than when I walked in. The interior is small and a bit cramped, but with the space they have, I think they make it work. I came here with my boyfriend for a couple's spa day. We had a one hour massage, back exfoliation, facial, and pedicure. Pearl and Lily were absolutely amazing! Extremely pleasant, positive and easy to talk to. The massage was amazing - relaxing yet deep enough to get all of the knots out. The back exfoliation was great, the facial was incredible and left my skin feeling extremely smooth and silky. The pedicure was well done with a good selection of nail polish and great massage chairs. The space is a bit small but the service definitely made up for it. Also, because I don't have the best skin, I've had a really bad experience in the past with facials where my face completely broke out and it was so painful to the point of uncontrollable tears.. so I was really nervous to get one again, but she was amazing! I'm a professional with very little time. I'm looking for good value, good service and convenient location. The staff at the Spa were professional, the RMT's were fine and skilled. The rooms needed some sound insulation but the temperature was fine. The decor needed updating but temperature of the room was good. My RMT was very good. I've had issues with tight forearms, tight lower back and she gave me extra stretches during the session. She pointed out additional stretches I should do. very similar to the ones my physio gave me so I knew that she was quite knowledgable. The room was clean, all the sheets were clean and they were kind enough to ask if I was allergic to anything. THey also did this hot towel rub which felt good on my back and particularly on my cold feet.. not the room but my circulation. If you're looking for 900 threadcount sheets, cushy chairs in the lounge, a fireplace roaring in the relaxation room, this is not the place. But if you're looking for 1 hour of peace, a good stretch and very good massage, then I would recommend it. I will probably head back in a couple weeks. I"m giving a 4 star just to combat the previous reviewers 1 star. This place was fine and one poor review shouldn't deter you. read more

Been there twice both times with groupon vouchers and had massages, facial, and mani-pedi. Receptionist isn't too friendly but gets the job done. Located conveniently in front of Lawrence station but that means heavy traffic noise. Massages are always great but I did not appreciate the other services. All my services were done by the same person and she lacked skill for the facial and mani-pedi. Products got into my eyes, and they do not use spa products. They exfoliated my face with clean and clear scrub. They didn't dim the lighting at all so it was really bright and uncomfortable for me to lie faced up the whole time. I would not even bother with mani-pedis there. Product bottles have gunk that hasn't been wiped and after my pedicure I was asked to walk barefoot to where they had their dryer set up and fell out of the pedicure chair. The mani-pedi room just does not look sanitary. The ladies there lack english but try very hard to please and are very accommodating if you need to change your appointment at the last minute. However seeing staff sit down where guests do at the reception desk during their break did look bad. I would definitely return for massages but nothing else. read more

Ive been going there for a while. The first appts were ok and then they havent been providing a good service as of late. Theyre always rushing, my manicure/pedicure are never done properly and the facial isnt even satisfactory. Ive had to pay and go somewhere else to get my nails fixed. Yesterday when i got shellac done, the UV was very greasy not sure if it had been cleaned at all, and the place doesnt look clean. Also, they would talk amongst themselves in their language in front of clients which is very unprofessional and rude. I wouldnt recommend this place at all. read more

I just came back from a massage and I was quite disappointed... The staff doesn't speak a lot of english but with a little patience we were able to understand each other no problem. I went for a 45 minute massage and was greeted by the receptionist upon entering. I filled out the paperwork and wrote on it a couple of times that my problem area is my right shoulder blade. My masseuse didn't even look at the the form and when I went in the room she just told me to take my clothes off and cover up with the blanket. She didn't ask me any questions. She left the room and I did so. She came back and asked me where I had pain. I told her my right shoulder blade. She even touched it and repeated me. But she spent barely any time on it and I even asked her at one point if she could go back to it. She rubbed over it a lot but I have knots in there that really need out. I kept expressing the soreness in that area and the knots that I have. She focused a lot on my neck which is also a problem but I was specifically there for the shoulder blade. Even if she couldn't get the knots out I just really needed her to try. And then she told me to sit up which I thought was odd. But they obviously have different massage techniques here so I went with it. I held the blanket up with one hand as she was doing stuff with my other arm and then switched sides. But then she took both arms to do something else and I was sitting there topless... She was behind me but still. I'm a very open person and I actually don't care about being topless in front of other women. (I'm a performer and have quick changed so many times in front of other cast and crew.) It just seemed weird to me... maybe I'm ignorant to the technique or the Asian culture. But usually you ask someone if that's alright, right? Then she finished what she was doing as I was sitting up and just told me, "Okay, finished. You feel good?" I didn't really know what to say... I just kind of smiled and said yeah. I also don't think I got a full 45 minutes. I know I went in a couple minutes early but I don't think I went in 10 minutes early. Anyway, my neck is really sore now from the massage (which I know can be expected) but my right shoulder blade is still the same as before. Sigh This really wasn't worth my time or $70, unfortunately. Luckily, most of it was covered by my Spa Finder gift card. At least the staff were friendly and the place seemed quite clean. read more

I've been to Jade a dozen or so times over a few years but I think I'm done for good. Almost every time I book an appointment, call to confirm, and show up to some sort of confusion. Usually it's bearable like having to changes rooms between a massage and a facial. This past time I showed up for my RMT appointment and was told someone else had arrived a few minutes before I saying they had an RMT appointment and had already started their treatment. There was a language barrier but I thought they said they could do pedicure first, then massage, then manicure. OK, fine. But then they set me up on the pedi chair and just left me for 20 minutes. Finally I dried my feet and left. I didn't even see anyone on my way out. The service here is almost always great for the price you pay, and the one RMT massage I had before was excellent. But yes the spa itself isn't very fancy, has paper-thin walls and they are quite disorganized. read more

I am a licensed medical physician and I went to Jade Wellness spa for a massage which was great! It was with a lady named Nicole and my husband also started going there with a lady named Jane, I believe. We have both had great experiences there. The surroundings are not lavish, however they are clean and comfortable, and they ensure you are warm enough during the massage. I have been to Stillwater, Ritz Carlton, Pantages Spas, and to be very honest, those $200 massages were not as good as the massages I get here. I will be a regular customer. As far as the review above, well, sometimes English is not there first language, but they do have a receptionist who speaks fluent English and it would be best to ask for her if there some issue to discuss with their online packages. They are soo cheap compared to other places in the city...$60 per hour for non-RMT massage, and $80 for a one hour RMT massage.. read more
