My husband and I decided to remodel our bathroom so we had to pick some tiles, materials and get inspiration. We were going to completely gut our bathroom and our contractor recommended we go to state college since they have a variety of stores. We shopped at three different stores before stumbling across Bodega. All three stores we went too prior we were greeted by no one and offered no assistance. The service was horrible. The selection were good but definitely pricey. We almost gave up for the day until my husband said let's just try this last spot Bodega. I agreed. Immediately entering the showroom we were greeted by a young man Brian And I knew we had made the right choice. From start to finish this man was approachable and showed us a variety of options. Brian asked us several questions, showed us several displays and even took us to the back to pick out a slab. He suggested certain styles based off our needs and concerns with little babies at home. The showroom was clean and had a variety of options. Everything was organized and there was plenty of staff to assist. They had everything from start to finish to complete our project needs. The best part besides Brian was the pricing. The pricing was fairly priced compared to the three stores prior. Brian did not leave our sight. We hadn't planned on buying anything that day but decided to make a purchase just based off the superb service, price and quality of materials we had seen. It's people like Brian that made the experience for us.and I'm looking forward to going back to Bodega since we have another restroom will be remodeling within the next year. read more

Did a full house renovation including two bathrooms, kitchen, entryway and fireplace. Love this place. Their selection is a little more high end than other stores on tile row and the store is clean and bright. Everything is displayed well so you don't feel like you're digging through or getting lost in boxes or rows of tile. Makes it a lot easier to find what you're looking for. Everyone working there is very friendly. I worked with Johana and she was amazing. She has a really great design eye so when I brought her inspirational photos and concepts she was quick to pick out pieces that matched my taste exactly. A lot of their tile come from quality brands and are made in Italy or Spain. I also bought some of my lighting fixtures through them since their price was better than what I could get direct from the manufacturer's websites. Will definitely come back here as I continue my reno read more

We are remodeling our bathroom, and our contractor sent us to "tile mile". We happened to park near Imperial Tile & Stone, so it was the first place we visited. Johana was so incredibly helpful. She asked questions about our project and offered very helpful suggestions. She pulled many samples from all around the store so we could see what the various tiles looked like together. We decided which three tiles we wanted to go with and we told Johana we were going to visit a few more places. We went to two more tile places in the area. The customer service at these other two places was mediocre at best. At one place we told someone what we were looking for and she said, "There is some on this side and some on that side." We walked over to the area and a guy tried to help us, but we weren't impressed because he just kind of pointed and explained things, but he didn't pull anything together. Last place we went no one greeted us or tried to help us at all. We decided it wasn't worth it to even try anywhere else and we headed back to Johana at Imperial. She immediately wrote up our order, helped us choose grout, and told us we can pick up the tile next week. Beautiful tile for our entire bathroom for under $1,000. If you are looking for tile I highly suggest you visit Imperial and ask for Johana. read more

We are renovating our 70 year old house and have been searching for kitchen floor tile in person and online for a several months. What we envisioned is not in style and therefore not available. Custom tile is out of our price range. The vast majority of retailers stock the same manufacturers and it all started to look alike. Enter Bodega tile. We entered the store on a whim and found so many things that are unique to their store. Johana was our sales person. She is so knowledgeable and willing to help. We found a great substitute for our original plan, Johana found a sample for us to take home and did the research on the available square footage when the manufacturer re-opened on the following Monday. We ordered our tile over the phone and can't wait for it to arrive. read more

Our interior designer, Charlene Chan from Dress my Address strongly, STRONGLY recommended for us to visit Johana Cortez at Bodega Tiles for help to redesign the tiles, countertops and flooring tiles in each of our bathrooms and powder room. The team at Bodega tile is also very reasonable with their pricing and they provide amazing client service as well. If you're confused on where to look for tile or need helpful suggestions on how you want your house could look this is the place. They have a good selection of tile and the prices are pretty good. We worked with Johanna and we kept coming back because of how insightful and professional she was. We worked with Bodega Tile to renovate two bathrooms. We made many trips down to the store to look at options before the pandemic. Johana was always extremely helpful without pushing us to make decisions. We shared things we liked about tiles and she had ideas even if she didn't have them in the showroom. Amidst our renovations, we ran into hurdles (none caused by Bodega) and Johana always went above and beyond to help us through them to complete our project. Additionally, their pricing was very fair and it's worth the trip down from LA. Their tile collection is beautiful! read more

I had a great experience at Bodega Tile, specifically working with Lourdes! In 1 trip I left having ordered an affordable pre fab quartz countertop and the marble mosaic tile I had been looking all over town and the internet for. The selection is really good at Bodega - simple to intricate designs and things you just won't find other places (I know because I went to all the other places). In addition to their amazing tile selection, their customer service was better than any other shop I visited in the area. Lourdes was friendly, offered design input, answered my questions, and treated me like a valued customer. I've had to call the shop since for updates on my order and received friendly and thorough service. A like story time- Immediately prior to stopping at Bodega I went into a shop nearby and was ditched in a warehouse by the sales rep a fter he realized I was looking for a pre fab quartz countertop, not a big slab at a high price tag. My experience with Lourdes was the complete opposite. I'm very happy I stopped in. read more

My wife and I are relatively new home owners and starting our first remodel project, weren't exactly sure what to expect with tile shopping. We wondered up and down tile row without much success for the tile we had in mind. One of our last stops was Bodega, where we saw easily the most selection. What made our purchase from Bodega a no brainer was the resources/advice we got from Brian. he asked questions we weren't thinking about or aware we needed to answer, like breakage percentage based on tile size. He was also extremely transparent on order times, costs, and availability. Making it an easy decision to purchase there. The tile is going in this week and so far looks incredible! read more
