    Crumb cake

Stopped in at the recommendation of my friend that lives near by before I made my drive back to NC. I was greeted upon entry and the atmosphere was super cute! I ordered a piece of crumb cake and a large chai, both of which were really good.

Went here Monday night for a specialty reserved event. They let us make purchases even though they were "closed" so I was happy to finally be able to try their coffee! The inside was so pretty! Beautifully decorated with christmas decor! The staff was friendly and also helpful when I asked questions about their menu. I decided to try a drink from their seasonal menu/December special. An Iced Santa's Cookie (10/10) it was sweet and flavorful; loved the cookie butter syrup! Def will return to try more of their drinks and some "Bodega bites" My overall rate of experience : 10/10

Super cute café, with great ambience. Customer service was amazing and I got a blueberry cheesecake cold brew, and it was very good. I will be back again.

I adore this little coffee shop. and that's just what it is. It's very small inside but cozy. I went during the christmas season and it was so festive in there as well as many festive drinks! I ordered the Rudolph (white mocha & cranberry with dried cranberry topping) and it was delish! I never had cranberry in a coffee drink before. It was so good and unique. My husband ordered the La Isla (espresso, mocha, and coconut) which is on their standard menu. He also ordered a sausage egg and cheese sandwhich which came out quick and also hit the spot! We don't come out here often but I will definitely be back. Their pastry counter was also stocked with so many goodies!

Good service with great food and nice drink options! Offers an aray of drink styles and flavors to accommodate any palate and preference. Size wise its cozy, but not overly intimate. Has a soothing modern atmosphere with hints of ethnic heritage and cultural identity

This spot is cozy, friendly, and the food? Exquisite. If you're from the island and the brick city of NYC, this Bodega really hits home. From the "Quesito" to the "Cortado" coffee, along with smooth jazz and hip-hop music, it reminds me of the stoops in Brooklyn. Definitely a place to start your day. Ordering an everything bagel and quesito to wash it down with a nice soothing lemonade for $15. You absolutely can't beat it. #Bodega #Food #Coffee #Brooklyn

Cozy Vibes, Great Coffee & Dog-Friendly Perks! We visited Bodega Café as part of our Sip & Sunday Passport Series, and this spot absolutely delivered! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. They were super helpful and even recommended the Island Cold Brew with coconut cold cream -- and it did not disappoint. Smooth, tropical, and refreshing! I also had a maple pecan pastry that was out of this world -- perfectly baked, sweet but not too sweet, and paired so well with the coffee. And of course, our pup Lexi was with us -- they're dog-friendly as long as your pup is leashed, and they even offer pup cups! Lexi tore hers up with her whole nose covered in whipped cream. Major hit. The shop was clean, modern, and buzzing with energy -- clearly a local favorite with great foot traffic. If you're in the Virginia Beach area, whether you're part of the passport tour or just need a good cup of coffee and a warm atmosphere, Bodega Café is a must-visit.

Very cute modern industrial yet modest size cafe. The staff was very friendly and went through the menu of their most popular items and which ones were sweeter. I also asked about their bagels and they said they get them from another local shop and NY Bagel (which we love!). I did decide to try a croissant breakfast sandwich with bacon egg and cheese. Delicious! We also went with the sweater weather and haystack drinks. The sweater weather had maple and cinnamon. This will be a repeat. The haystack was also delicious with a butter pecan flavoring. I would also like to come back when it's warm to try their cold drinks with cold foam.

Quite spot and amazing service. Highly recommend Spanish Latte yummy.

The coffee was super yummy and beautifully presented. I did try their pastries, I loved the service and feeling of home.

The coffee was tasty! The space is tucked away in a corner but worth it to try! They have different holiday menus to try. The staff was super friendly and happy to be there!

I went here for the first since i knew this is new but had not had the chance to stop in. I went in and it is a small shop so its cute and cozy. The service is nice I ask to go to the restroom before I ordered and she said that is fine. After i got out there were more people in ordering so I waited but they were done ordered os i waited till she was done before i started ordering I saw passionfruit in the pictures of the reviews so i ask if there was any juice like passion fruit drinks and she said there were out but got orange juice. I think i should have what teas she had cuz I just read there are some flavor teas, but I didn't think of that. I ordered the ice bodega cat which has expresso, white mocha and lavender got that asked if I wanted anything else like bakery items or stuff like that I think next time I will come back to try that The ice bodega cat was nothing special when first sip but after 2nd sip it was flavorful and tasty.

I was greeted as soon as I walked in and I love how nice and friendly the staff are. The shop is always so clean and I love the beautiful decor! I ordered the drink and asked if it came in a large (it's just that good) but they said it only comes in one size due to the amount of caffeine that's in it and I completely understood. I was only there to grab the Power Fizzy but the Honey Graham Beignets sounded tasty, so I ordered those as well. My Strawberry Coconut Power Fizzy was great, per usual. It tastes like a dirty soda but it actually includes a lotus plant-based caffeine with benefits such as weight loss, mood boosters and blood sugar regulation and also includes antioxidants. The Honey Graham Beignets were wonderful! They were tossed in graham cracker crumbs and cinnamon with a honey drizzle! Beignets and Brew never disappoints and I will definitely be back soon for another Power Fizzy lol.

I was pleasantly greeted by Ashley F who asked if it was my first time in the shop. She was friendly and patient with me as I asked a few questions. I decided on 24 beignet bites to go and ordered small containers of each of the three dipping sauces: Butter Cream, Blueberry, and Chocolate. I enjoyed the smaller bite-sized beignets, and the butter cream dipping sauce combination the best! My coworker wished the blueberry dipping sauce was a little thicker. But, all three dipping sauce flavors are tasty. I also ordered a regular Honey-Cinna Lavender Latte, hot, with oat milk (additional $1 charge for the alternative milk) and it was delicious! Although my orders were 'to-go', this location offers a great vibe. The dining areas were clean and inviting. I can definitely add this sweet spot to my list of places to meet up with friends. It's a great place to pick up a treat to share.

Since there wasn't anyone there, we had time to scan the menu. We both decided on Organic Lemonade drinks, I chose mine with Passion Fruit & Strawberry Bursting Boba. They also offer matchas, Vietnamese coffees, fruit teas, coconut waters and slushies along with Vietnamese sandwiches and snacks. It took no time for our drinks to be made and we both enjoyed them but they were a tad bit sweet for our liking, I'm sure it was due to the added flavored syrup. They've only been open a year but I can see this place being pretty busy this Summer. I'll definitely be back to try some of the other drink options. Definitely stop in if you're in the area!

Their cinnamon rolls and coffee cake slices are huge. They don't mess around. Upon walking in there's an island of select merchandise from local artists (chocolates, homemade items, etc.) which I thought was a cool way to support the community. The employees welcomed me in with a loud (yet polite) "Hello!" There were two of them working and they kept smiling the whole time. On the right there's a few tables to enjoy your order and further down there's a long high-top table where you can view a "behind the scenes" look through their kitchen window. The murals on their hallway are gorgeous, as well as that HUGE mirror you catch yourself in on the way to their bathrooms. Be Free merchandise is also available before you hit the hallway. Whoever designed their skull cones logo did a great job! On the left there's a refrigerated area with beverages to grab, and their glass case of all their ice cream flavors they're offering that day. That was the only real issue we had. Our waitress was Anna and she was very nice as well. She was very accommodating. We ordered fries, chicken katsu, a turkey sandwich, a fruit waffle, several different teas hot and cold, salads, fish and chips, and buffalo wings. The food is pretty simple because it's Tea house food. Most sandwiches come with a salad, or you can pay an upcharge for fries or fruit. The ginger dressing was really good. Everyone liked it. The fish and chips were just ok, the fish was a little fishy in flavor and tasted like frozen fish sticks. I probably would not order it again. The fries were ok, and the salads were good.
