I'm always sourcing for local coffee shops and I'm glad that I found Bodega, it is near my house so I could sneak out when I wfh lol! Special coffees are delicious! I loved my La Isla (Espresso, Mocha & coconut) and my mom loved her Coco Loco (Espresso, coconut & condensed milk). The owner was very friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was chill. The prices are very reasonable too, I spent a little less than $20 for 2 pastries and 2 large coffee, which is a super rare find nowadays lol! read more

I tried this place a couple times and they are consistently great. The location is a little hidden in the corner. Inside was really clean and a nice vibe. The locally sourced bagels and pastries were delicious. I tried the Bodega Cat (White mocha and lavender) and is was great. I can't wait to try some of the other Signature lattes. I popped in here to work on a Tuesday after an appointment I had. The space is definitely on the cozy end of things, but very cute and the staff is SUUUUPER friendly and accommodating. I got a cappuccino and a turkey + cheese croissant and everything was delicious! I'd love to snag the couches next time. Their parking lot needs some work, as it's all pot holes. Hoping that gets fixed in time! read more

This place has been on my list of places to try for a long time! I didn't expect to be blown away by the great service but also the amazing food! The sourdough croissant was perfectly buttery and crisp, and the cheddar was sharp! I had the iced bodega cat which had a perfect balance of lavender and white mocha. This is just the cutest coffee shop ever! The environment is very calm and inviting, and perfect if you're looking for a place to study or just read a book. The espresso here is AMAZINGG. The service was wonderful and the ladies upfront were very patient and kind. I had got the ham and Swiss croissant and my family had got the turkey and cheddar one. Very disappointed, the place was dirty , service was slow. It was obvious the coffee was not freshly brew but it was obvious it was made day before ( worst then being at 7/11. Their specialty coffees were flavor with Walmart favor creamers. The person who was making the coffee had no clue of what she was doing. There were about 6 people who walked out of there because they had been waiting forever. Save your money you are better off going to McDonalds read more

Another A+ Hispanic spot in the 757. First time going here today and I tried the Spanish Latte and Ham & Swiss Croissant. Elevated NY Bodega or Miami corner bakery is exactly what came to mind. I expected to taste Cafe con Leche when I ordered the coffee and was pleasantly surprised when I tried the latte- it is NOT Cafe con Leche, it might be better. Service was VERY fast even though the place was packed, I wouldn't hesitate to stop by on the way to work if I was in a rush. The best part is they don't do the whole iPad "flip around" thing, it always faces you so no pressure to tip, but you'll want to tip. Seating doesn't really seem limited but it's not a huge place, although it's really well decorated and laid out. I'll definitely be stopping here regularly. read more

For a Sunday at 9AM, it was not busy which was great since I was on a time crunch. It's an old, rustic farmhouse that when you walk in, truly feels like you're walking into someone's home. I ordered an iced latte with their homemade strawberry syrup and almond milk, and my friend got a black cold brew. The strawberry syrup was incredible. Not too sweet, and it was the PERFECT addition to my usual coffee order. 10/10 recommend for you strawberry fans. The food menu looked fantastic, but I was not hungry so we settled for the liquid diet this morning. But, the burrito and the pimento BLT definitely caught my eye for next time. The inside is super cute, with such a cool vibe. It would be a great place to come back with my laptop to get work done! We sat outside before it started to get too hot, and it truly felt like we were at someones house, drinking coffee on their porch. Such a cozy vibe. I loved this spot.

The location is perfect because I usually get my wife a coffee from the Dunkin' Donuts next-door right after grabbing a bagel sandwich. Clutch. The staff there are cool people. They're like the cast of a classic sitcom. Overall solid customer service. The place is always tidy and they'll either be in there playing the jams or something good on TV. My go to order is a Turkey Bacon, Egg, and Cheddar Cheese on a Cinnamon Raisin Bagel! Fire if your into to a slight sweet savory vibe. Sometimes i switch it up and go French Toast bagel. Either way, is a movie each time. Hours are 6am-2pm I believe so I try to get there early enough to catch the fresh options of bagels. Bangin'! All in all, don't walk...RUN here! Tell a friend to tell a friend then thats it. Save some bagels for me.

The café wasn't busy when we visited there was only one couple dining in, it was clean, and the customer service was great. The employee who helped us was friendly, welcoming, and very kind. Since they were out of the malasadas, I decided to order the banana latte instead. I'd give it about a 7/10. For context, I'm always searching for a great banana latte because I love flavored coffee. One thing that frustrates me is when coffee shops advertise flavors like cookie butter, lemon pound cake, or red velvet, but the drink just ends up tasting like sweet coffee with no real trace of the advertised flavor. I was pleasantly surprised because this latte actually tasted like banana. It wasn't the best banana latte I've ever had that title still belongs to one I had in Las Vegas but it was definitely one of the better ones I've tried. The only reason it wasn't rated higher is because I noticed a sugary base flavor that overpowered the coffee a little for me. I personally prefer flavored lattes where I mainly taste the coffee cut with milk and the featured flavor heavily, not just sweetness. That's purely my preference. The fact that I finished the entire drink says a lot. I've had plenty of flavored coffees that I couldn't even finish because I disliked them so much. This wasn't one of those. I enjoyed it, and I definitely didn't regret ordering it. Now...the real star of the visit was the lumpia. It was AMAZING. Crispy, flavorful, and easily some of the best lumpia I've had. I actually tried another lumpia spot recently, and while it was decent, Ohana & Co.'s lumpia completely won me over. It's honestly the reason I'll be back. I have an eye appointment in the area next week, and I'm already planning another stop. I'll definitely be ordering the lumpia again, and this time I'm hoping they have the banana malasadas because that's what I originally came for. I also want to try one of their platters. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend giving Ohana & Co. a try. The customer service was wonderful, the café was clean, the banana latte was one of the better ones I've had, and the lumpia alone is worth the drive.

Angie's is a Filipino bakery known for its authentic, fresh-baked goods. They offer pandesal (bread rolls), cheese rolls, pecan tarts and an array of different breads and pastries. I decided on the Ube Ensaymada and the Ham & Cheese Bread along with an Ube Latte. I thoroughly enjoyed the Ube Latte, it was made perfectly and wasn't very sweet. The Ube Ensaymada was coated in sugar and had the most amazing, Ube filling, it was absolutely delicious. The Ham & Cheese Bread was also pretty tasty. Overall, I had a great experience at Angie's Bakery. The staff were very nice and I can't wait to return to try the other pastries!

Walking into Bodega Café felt like stepping right back into New York -- warm, familiar, and full of that unmistakable neighborhood energy. It was served in cute pastel teapots, though one of the teapots had a chip at the spout which made me a little nervous. We also had macaroons made in-house for the table. I can't remember if I asked the staff if any of the macaroons were dairy free, but I asked my friends at the table and was told there was dairy in them. I later asked the staff if there was any food they offered that was dairy-free and they showed me their pastry counter but ultimately determined that everything offered had dairy, so all I had while at the café was the tea. The ladies I was with loved the macaroons. I wish I could have had some. I recommend at least 1-2 food options be added in the café for folks who have a dairy allergy. Café Genevieve provides a nice atmosphere for tea with a unique setting -- in a 1734 house that is decked out with Parisian decor. It's not the most private setting -- it got pretty noisy during our time there and there were a few interruptions to our conversation. We should have asked if we could have closed the door, because that definitely would have helped with noise and privacy. Overall, the customer service was great and the tea was really good! If you want to meet here for a private event, conversation, or just want some peace and quiet, that back room with the door closed could provide it. It's a nice café to check out.

What concerned me the most was watching an employee fill my boyfriend's iced coffee with tap water directly from the sink. That completely changed my confidence in how drinks are prepared. Good coffee is important, but cleanliness and proper food handling are just as important. I hope they address these issues because the coffee itself has a lot of potential.
