Everything about Bocelli's love.It is a cozy former railroad station next to Septa commuter line which adds to its charm. But THE FOOD and THE SERVICE are the real highlights of this place. If you get excited about homemade pasta and pasta dishes this is your spot. Our faves include;Veal Picatta,Lasagna Bolognese,Lobster and Crab Ravioli in Pink Vodka Sauce ,Penne con Salsiccia(penne with homemade sausage, mushroom and light cream sauce. But honestly...everything on the menu is delish with the exception of the two carpaccio appetizers. Run,don't walk to this gem.Off the beaten path but worth the trip.My biggest fear is the general public will hear about it and it will be overrun!!And if you eat well you get a shot of homemade limoncello at the end.Very generous!Did I mention the bruschetta, bread and complimentary crepe appetizers?I could go on and on but I won't.See for yourself! read more

This is an intimate, cozy dining experience unlike anywhere else we have been. Very small in a train station with authentic Italian food so would definitely need a reservation with how small it is. We were greeted with bruschetta and then raviolis in a blush sauce (free is for me) and the BYOB aspect is always a bonus. Burrata special appetizer salad & the filet carpaccio were both very tasty, flavorful and exciting to taste. Spaghetti bolognese and Veal entrees were classic and very delicious and filling as well. I saw reviews that staff were unfriendly and I did not even experience a glimpse of that. Everyone was extremely professional, genuine and courteous but not overly involved and fake friendly.( I hate the disingenuous friendly) 2 apps, 2 mains, and dessert was about 115$ so extremely well priced Can't wait to go back and try more! read more

Their service was Amazing and seafood pasta was delicious. I Highly recommend this cute restaurant ! read more

Not as good as it used to be. They make no accommodations for kids - no kids menu, etc. Sliced chicken parm without the parm or sauce was the cloest they could come to chicken fingers - totally tasteless! Adults dishes were better but not much. Chicken piccata was good. Spaghetti carbonara used to be excellent but this had no taste. Seafood chowder was so-so. Lobster ravioli was average. The place is definitely sliding downhill. read more

More like a 4.5. Bocelli' is one of our go to restaurants. Top notch Italian cuisine in a cozy environment, the former Gwynedd Valley train station ticket office. We enjoyed the Seafood pasta, Vitello Saltmbocca, and the Grilled Caesar Salad with crabmeat. Desserts were not made fresh, though very good. Service was efficient. They kept us to our 90 minute reservation, though we felt like staying a little longer. read more

Went on New Years Eve and 10 days later, I'm still dreaming about the pink vodka lasagna. I'm not a huge fan of Italian food and this place has converted me. BEST meal I've had in a long time. Service was amazing! Our waiter was funny and attentive. 5 read more

Hair In my food, food was cold and took so long. Waiter was really mean, and disrespectful

The food is well prepared and delicious! Come early to get seated, the restaurant fills up quickly even on a weekday. We love the ambiance of a small restaurant near the commuter train. read more

Excellent food artistically presented. Friendly knowledgeable staff. They honor reservations. Eclectic setting. Will return.

Quaint little spot, probably best for takeout but there is seating for maybe 20 people. Food was fantastic, lots of energy. The lady running the place was great, super friendly. BYOB, so bring your wine! And make sure to order dessert... both of ours were delicious! read more

What a great find this restaurant was. It was my husband's birthday and we were looking for an Italian restaurant that had Pasta Carbonara. We were in Italy this summer and my husband had been craving it. So we searched and found only this restaurant had it on the menu. He was very happy. Well everything we ordered was delicious. And I thought the pollo cacciatore was one of the best I ever had. The sauce was so deeply flavorful. My birthday is coming up so that's where I want to go. A small quaint little place. read more

Such a quaint and intimate restaurant! This BYOB has such a cozy atmosphere and the service is top notch. The food was delicious! They also gave us complimentary bruschetta and limoncello which was a nice touch. I recommend making a reservation if you plan to go on a weekend. read more

Five of us had a significant family anniversary at Bocelli's, and it was superb. The owner and staff were so accommodating and friendly, supplying us with champagne glasses for our bubbly and complimentary amuses-bouche. The atmosphere is charming -- magical even. And every dish we sampled was perfectly-prepared and delish. Can't remember last time I had a meal and dining experience that was so elegant yet affordable. read more

This is a quaint Byob with amazing food. The staff are friendly. The ambiance is lovely. Get your reservations early. You won't be disappointed. read more

Absolutely delicious meal. The carbonara was rich and decadent and abundant, the crab ravioli was perfectly proportioned with pink vodka sauce that was great for dipping bread into. Nice quaint little BYO right by the tracks. But.... one star must be docked for the fact that they were playing Mexican music which threw off the whole vibe and ambiance. read more

Love the place. So cute and cozy. You feel like you are in a different city. I had veal Parmesan with Spaghetti. It was good veal but sauce was on the bland side. I was disappointed in that. Otherwise I had a lovely time there and will go again. read more

Small intimate place with white tablecloths and delicious food. Don't pass up this gem. Joe was very welcoming and he made you feel as though you had been invited into his home for a feast. Great place to dine for any occasion. It is a BYO so bring your favorite vino and Salute! read more

BYOB! I figured that was important to start with. We dined here on a Tuesday evening and were asked if we had a reservation... I'm assuming you'd really need a reservation if you wanted to dine here on the weekend. There aren't very many tables and it's a very intimate place, but despite that, we were seated right away at this time. They brought out some bruschetta, which tastes absolutely delicious! It's a shame they only brought out 2, as I think 4 would have been the right amount. We ordered the Caprese as our appetizer, which sounded like it would be a lot like the bruschetta based on the description, but it didn't come with bread, and instead it came with (a little too much) balsamic vinegar. The vinegar wasn't horrible, but it took away from the taste of the fresh ingredients used in the dish. Most of the menu is meat-based items, so I just asked for a plate of the spaghetti with whichever sauce our waitress recommended (which happen to be the pink vodka sauce). It was pretty good, portion size wasn't too small but it could have still used a little more. Vegetarian dishes need to be filling too! My boyfriend found the Veal Piccata to be pretty good. Overall, pretty nice place. The prices are a bit high, but it's nice for special occasions and of course the BYOB can be enjoyable. read more

We LOVE Bocelli's! Eat-in, take-out, it's all delicious. We get the family meals often during the summer months. We live within walking distance, and it's always so nice to get this dinner when we don't feel like cooking. Eating in the restaurant is even better! Such a wonderful experience from beginning to end. And everything is so fresh and tasty and the service is the BEST! Thank you, Bocelli's...please don't ever leave! read more

Served tough already frozen veal chop that was awful and refused to do anything about it. Miserably and rude service.

Bocelli may be short on space but not on flavor. This small Italian restaurant is tucked in a small building that borders the tracks at the Gwynedd Valley train station. If you plan to stop in for dinner a reservation is a must. Bocelli is BYOB so bring your libations with you. As we sat down a complementary order of fresh bruschetta was set on our table. This was a nice touch and they also provided bread and olive oil. I'm not sure at what point during the meal they gave us another dish with rosa sauce and i think a stuffed pasta. I can't remember exactly what it was except for it was tasty! You can make a meal on the complementary items alone. I had heard their Penne con Salsiccia was a winner so that's what I ordered. It was home-made sausage and mushrooms in a light cream sauce for $16.95. I haven't had pasta like it before and I would order it again. Everyone in my group enjoyed their meals except for the Filet. It was just OK. All in all Bocelli is a solid Italian restaurant with good food and service to match. I am going to go back a few more times to try more of their menu. As of right now they didn't blow me away but they have potential. read more

This place came highly recommended so I made a reservation. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the same day of the reservation due to a sick child at home. When I called to do so, the lady I spoke to was very nasty about it. I then asked if I could order take out instead, in which she told me they don't do. I explained I saw they have door dash. She told me I better get it in early because they turn the door dash off when they get busy. I will never eat here due to how rude she was. read more

Not a huge menu but good enough. Charming atmosphere, highly personalized attention and great food served piping hot.

I stopped in to ask a question about the regional train (restaurant is the old train depot) and when I smelled the food I had to try some. I got an Italian Wedding Soup to-go before I hopped on the train. But I will be back! Such warmth and hospitality from the staff, and the soup was INCREDIBLE! Thank you, Bocelli's :) read more

We have been going to this restaurant for several years and have always had a good experience until last night, Here are the issues we felt needed to be noted: -They don't tell you when you reserve that the road leading to the to the restaurant is closed about 200 yards from entrance resulting in backtracking and following detour signs for literally several miles. -They offered us two tables; the one by the front door or one it turned out they have jammed in beside their largest table. We took the latter and you could barely fit there. It was also without a doubt the loudest location due to a party of 8 or 10. To their credit they saw that the situation wasn't ideal and provided us another/better option. -We ordered the clams casino (an appetizer that you used to get 5 clams in the past) You now get 2 for $11. Tasty, yes but way overpriced for the small amount they give you. -We put two bottles of white wine on the table and although they were screw tops, we eventually had to pour them ourselves. We also had to ask for a cooler and they provided one that would not hold two bottles so we had to rotate the bottles. -As we saw at another table including ours, you had to ask for water refills -Lastly, in what I consider the cardinal sin in restaurants, the entrees (we both got the same dish) were luke warm and dry. I am pretty sure they were precooked and waiting for someone to order. All in all, a very disappointing dinner and don't know if we will return read more

I lived on Morris Road, in Blue Bell for 25 years. Bocelli's was very near to me, and my family and I made it a point to dine there at least 2 times per month. The reason being, the food was, and is unbelievably delicious. It's a BYOB, and if the host likes you, a Limoncello may be on the house. I have NEVER had a bad entry at Bocelli's. The waitstaff is excellent, and the host a nice Italian boy. I say this as a term of endearment. It's worth the visit, and takeout is always available. read more

Quaint and intimate Italian BYOB nestled between the inbound/outbound Lansdale Doylestown SEPTA regional rail line. Passing by daily piqued my curiosity and the other day, I finally had the opportunity to experience it. My husband and I were seated immediately with a dinner reservation on a Friday night. Service was on point. Our waiter kept up with our water refills as if we were his only table! Everything we ordered was delicious and thoughtfully prepared--calamari, caprese salad and veal Marsala were the favorites. Couldn't experience the Limoncello due to pregnancy but it looked amazing! Pay in cash to receive slight discount on the check. read more

Delizioso is the way to describe this place. It has been a looooong time since I have been here. And my wife and I looked at each other and asked why we haven't been back sooner. Its because this place is so good and good Italian food is decadently rich. I had the osso buco and my wife had the bowtie special with a rose sauce and lobster and shrimp. The Pope would have enjoyed either meal. The osso buco was prepared perfectly - no need for a knife here. And my wife's pasta dish was fantastic. It had generous portions of shrimp and lobster and the rose cream sauce was perfect. I try to avoid eating Italian food because of the richness/carbs. But if you want great Italian food, this is the place to go. Arrivederci read more

Amazing Italian food in an intimate setting. This place is a BYOB serving very reasonably priced meals. We had lobster ravioli and a grilled veal chop with gnocchi in a mushroom reduction. So good I can barely put it into words. Finished with a fruit tart and a chocolate mousse pie. So good! So decadent! If you like excellent food, call and make a reservation. You will not be disappointed read more

I had some high expectations after reading the reviews for Bocelli. Homemade pasta, some classic northern Italian dishes tucked into a cozy former rail station. Add the BYOB factor and I was expecting high quality and a reasonable price - they delivered. My partner and crime was with me and we were continuing our tour of the northern Philly burbs. We checked the menu on the way over and were pretty much set when we got there. Then our server threw about 6 specials at us. They sounded great but I wanted to stick with the Frutti di Mare. My partner chose the bowtie, shrimp and rosa sause. When we're together, both plates are fair game so I tried the bowtie first. Nice al dente with a tasty and creamy sauce. My plate was filled with expertly prepared shrimp, scallops and shellfish. Pair that with a zesty sauce and perfect pasta and the results was heavenly. Thanks yelpers for helping us find this. read more

We had 5 people and they only gave us a small half bread for dinner. We ordered 2 large salad and they said they will put them together then make sure it's enough, however, not at all. And all of our orders didn't come with pasta especially we ordered before for the same dishes Our family always go there but we never had such an awful experience. Horrible service and insulting owner and staff! Don't go there! They are too busy and don't care about losing a customer.

My wife and I went here on our 1 year anniversary tonight and we couldn't have been happier! The food was phenomenal, the service was great and the atmosphere was cozy. We have also dined at the location in doylestown and both are equally as good. If you're craving Italian cuisine, look no further. Thank you Bocelli's for such a memorable evening. read more
