There are over 600,000 Italians in London, making it the 5th or 6th largest "Italian city." Given that, the food should be excellent. At Bocconcino the food is fine, but not excellent and certainly not up to the beautiful surroundings or the price. You can do better elsewhere despite it being an influencer haven.

Had a good time at bottomless brunch here with some friends over the weekend. For £59 you get bottomless drinks (aperol spritz, Bellinis, Prosecco) and bottomless pizza. The restaurant is beautiful and definitely feels very upscale. Service was super attentive and the drinks were flowing. We would get second rounds before we were even done with our first. They were also (suspiciously) fast about churning out the pizza. Pizza was just okay. Definitely didn't live up to the overall vibes of the restaurant. Crust was very crispy and nothing stood out as being really exceptional, but it was fine and after 5 aperol spritzes that's all you need. The main thing that bugged me is that we had a 12:30 res, were seated at 12:35, and got our first round of drinks at prob 12:45. It was a 90 minute bottomless and they cut us off at 1pm on the dot. I understand sticking to the time limit but it seemed like they could have been a bit more flexible. Music/DJ was fine. Didn't love it. Overall probably won't come back but it was a nice enough time!

Really great food, music and vibes. The service was a little slow but the waitress was very nice. My favorites were the drinks (the one with tomato was so good and interesting), the burrata app and the ragu pasta. This location is right in Soho so you're very close to a lot of places to go afterwards. It was definitely a memorable meal in London and I am sure I will go back!

This place was recommended by the JW Marriott at and wait staff. It was amazing!!! Fresh prawns, clams, and mussels...the broth, oh my goodness!!! Just fantastic. The pastas...light and fresh. The wine, I recommend the Amarone...fantastic. We are here for 8 days but will be back tomorrow. Great ambience, very friendly and welcoming staff, and really just a good place.

Delicious fresh pasta! I got the truffle pasta which was super flavorful and extremely rich. I was so stuffed by the end I almost couldn't finish my meal. Great atmosphere and beautiful interior. Decent spot for a fine Italian meal.

We just happened to come across this place in Mayfair and decided to venture in. It did not disappoint! Nothing fancy... casual dining.

We sat at the bar for a few minutes and it was so pretty, like a movie from old timey London. We both ordered a gin martini and they were perfect. Next we ordered the set restaurant month menu with three courses - a total steal. I enjoyed the salted cod and egg dish for appetizer, the salmon for an entree and chocolate ice cream for dessert. We also split the fish pie because we wanted to try it and I would highly recommend ordering that - it was very unique and unlike something I had tasted recently. The salmon was also cooked perfectly and was my favorite dish. The ambience was so nice, it was like an old movie set and the booth we sat at was really comfortable and stylish.

Another server came by, asked if we wanted water, and this time we got it. It was like that all night. Got an appetizer of octopus. Excellent! Had fish stew as a main. Good but not outstanding. We did have a cocktail and wine with dinner, but the bill was higher than the quality of the food/experience. For example, out bottle of water was 7.75 pounds.

We enjoyed walking around and seeing a wide variety of food options! The whole market area was clean and organized when we got there at 9am. No lines yet. We tried: * The Ginger Pig - Traditional Sausage Roll * Wild Mushroom Risotto - Spelt Risotto with Truffle Shavings * Turnips Greengrocer - Chocolate Covered Strawberries * The Black Pig - The Best One With Crackling * Turkish Deli - Turkish Delight & Turkish Coffee * Bread Ahead - Crème Brûlée Donut

It is a farmer's type market with some prepared foods, which were top notch. We walked the entire thing and grabbed as much as we could to eat. There are plenty of food places just outside the space that are open later as well. I got some meat sticks from a vendor, sort of farmers market style. There was also another stand that had fruit in a cup with chocolate. Our best deal were some arepas that were half off because it was closing time and they wanted to get rid of them. This isn't the place to take pictures, but rather to immerse yourself in all the goodness that is here.

My wife and I chose this place for our last dinner in London before heading back home to DFW. I had…read moreread about this restaurant in some top 10 lists for foodies visiting London and was dying to check it out. First, it's not in the busy part of London where you would expect a restaurant of this caliber to be but rather it is in a very blue-collar neighborhood on the south side of London. It is a VERY cozy place with only seven tables but that is how they keep the quality and experience so great. The decor is as if you are on an old fishing ship. Reservations are highly recommended but we got there right when they opened (7pm) and thankfully they let us have a table. After being seated the hostess showed us the days specials and they ranged from fantastic scallops to lobster with every choice as good as the last. My wife and I chose the Chef's Choice 8 course dinner. The dinner comprised of a delicious sardine sandwich followed by a fillet of night perch which was then followed by lobster that melted in your mouth. Then we had a pallet cleanser of a light peach sorbet with a shot of vodka poured over it. The meal resumed with a grilled piece of pork belly (I got the "meat" choice) while my wife had a grilled hallibut (she got the "fish" choice). The next course was a warmed cheese (I believe it was gruyere) in pastry accompanied by a small mixed green salad with aged balsamic. The dessert courses were a delicious crepe with creme bruille filling and the end course was a pear puree along with a chocolate pudding with a hint of mint. We loved this place even though the name sort of threw us off at first. When you hear "The Lobster Pot" I imagine a bunch of seniors getting off a day-tour bus to a casino at a truck stop or something but this experience was far from what I first imagined. I would highly recommend spending some of your tourist dollars here at this restaurant.

A delightfully decorative place complete with seagulls singing sea shanty classics on loop. Terrified but glorious goldfish adorning the cabin window walls, really every maritime detail had been thought of, even staff in cabin costumes, it was as cheesy as the lobster Thermidor. So fun. I loved being bibbed up too, I like knowing things are gonna get messy. The Meli, a melee of seafood; half lobster, sea bass, spicy grilled perch, razor clam (touch over done), squid kebab (could've been flavoured more) but all in a sea of buttery champagne and avruga sauce. No tide could hold me back from wanting to lick my plate or use this as a moisturiser, oh my golly so delicious. It came served with enough perfectly cooked veg that my mother would approve of too. Soft butter, less surprise from the proprietor at our arrival and this place would have had a perfect score. Overall our waitress was lovely and the food was really darn good.
