Wonderful Italian restaurant. The staff didn't bat an eye to the fact that we arrived about 30 minutes before closing time on a weekday! They welcomed us in and got to the business of feeding us yummy all-round food. The rib-eye stake and risotto were outstanding! Highly recommend this place! We went back for more!!!

Super nice pizza and pasta! Very authentic Italian food you must try in London! Food is nice and staffs are very friendly! Really enjoyed the time there...

Yoooo!! My British mates?!! What's this little gem of an Italian spot you've got going on here!! And Thank you my fellow English Yelpers for your feedback because Albertini's did NOT disappoint!! I normally trust in our Yelp app and my good peeps advice on places and that's especially true whilst traveling abroad - and yet again another great dining experience. Walked up on a Monday night and the place was full of peeps enjoying good conversations over a great meal outside. We opted to sit inside and were seated right away. Libations, starters, and dinner were ordered rather quickly. Good stuff first - they have a decent selection of red and white wines so I go with a red from Chile - Not too shabby...three glasses later and I'm Ubering back to the hotel, but I digress... The garlic pizza with muzzarel (spelled hyphonetically correct) was Da Bomb! And the lasagne was quite exquisite. Dinner was great but lemme tell you about desert. They've got this coconut ice cream served in a coconut half shell that'll "make you sweat til you bleed. Is that dope enough, indeed. I paid the price I control the dice I'm more precise, to the point I'm nice...l" wait, wait...Again I digress...No they don't have karaoke...so this coconut ice cream - life changing. Another great experience! Thank you Albertini's we'll be back before heading back to the States. Cheers mate!

I was a bit nervous seeing parsley pesto, but this pasta and the clams were very good! It was nice in there and the servers were nice. I also had some of the margarita pizza and it was just okay.

Great food, service, pace, and price! We came in close to starving after a full day touring London. No happy hour specials but the prices are already pretty good to begin with. £168 bought 5 of us 3 appetizers, 6 entrees, and 4 desserts!!! Highly recommend on the following: * mussels appetizer - this makes me realize that every other time I've had mussels they've been over cooked. * risotto with truffle sausage and squash - what's not to like * coconut ice cream - great flavor and lightness * banofee - a powerful set of flavors Wish was better: * calamari and squash - delicious but too small. Only enough for 1-2 people * tiramisu- too small and small on flavor also * chocolate torte - missing sugar, loved the fresh berries

The service was timely and very hospitable. It has a great little side-street, small restaurant ambience. The primary focus... the food! Aperol spritz was well mixed and tasted good. We also ordered what amounted to be a charcuterie board - meats, mozzarella, bread. We also ordered a garlic and cheese pizza - both as appetizers (See pictures). The pizza was THIN and had a subtle, not overpowering flavor. It wasn't too greasy, and with the meat and cheese board was a great way to start our meal. Unfortunately, I ordered the gnocchi with 4 cheese fondue and ate it before I was able to get a picture. Once again, the fondue was mellow, not overpowering in flavor. It tasted fresh and not like it was microwaved from a packet. The fondue didn't coagulate like some cheese sauces might. The gnocchi was firm but cooked through and had its own creamy texture once I started eating it. This hole-in-the-wall is hardly recognizable from 50ft down the street, but left a big impression. I'd come back here any time I'm in the area (or maybe if I can find a cab to bring me).

Excellent taste! The cream is mixed with the aroma of mushrooms, paired with refreshing soft mushrooms and tender chicken, making the whole bowl of pasta delicious. It's worth eating!

Linguini al mare. Absolutely recommended. Fresh enough to smell the salt air!

Absolutely a great find near Euston and St. Pancras stations. The restaurant is in an unassuming building on a side street very close to Euston Station. From the moment we entered, the genuine friendliness of the gentleman who greeted us, and then the demeanor of both our waitperson and our server impressed us. For my part, I ordered a tagliatelle pasta with truffles and handmade Italian sausage, a brilliant choice, as it turned out. So much so that the bartender, passing by our table stopped, beaming with pride, to mention that it was his favorite and that he "2 million percent" was sure I'd love it. This dish created a time-release explosion of subtle flavor which lingered for at least an hour and will remain in my memory for years to come, like the perfect squid ink risotto I had in Parma, Italy more than ten years ago. These are the dishes that make me long to return to Italy--just to gain (totally unneeded and otherwise unwanted) weight. My wife a "linguini a la mare". Subtle, so fresh you could smell the salt water and tasty, though perhaps not quite as distinctive. Absolutely a solid five stars, nonetheless. Prices we're extremely reasonable by London standards and, considering the exceptional quality, warrant special mention. Even in Atlanta, Georgia, if such food can be found--the linguini, probably; the truffles (generous quantity and absolutely fresh), almost impossible--the price per dish would be easily fifty percent to one hundred percent higher. As such, given the low key and unpretentious atmosphere, one really felt as if he were in a small town in Italy being served by the Italian family whose great grandparents had run the place for generations--almost. The rather mundane and even slightly depressing street scene outside gives it away as being a big city, no--a London establishment. This would in no way ever put me off from returning, however, though I'd be more likely to choose the pleasant interior seating. Absolutely recommended if anywhere within thirty minutes of the place. That's a certain five stars!!

Bilal had remembered an area nearby and we walked there. It was a rainy one and legging it was nice only because the rain mercifully slowed for a few minutes. We smelled something great. Walked for a bit and all three of us looked at each other and said... Let's go back to the wonderful smell! So glad we did. Our server spoke w Mo in Italian and was so sweet. The items are very reasonably priced. Check out the pics. All food was gone!

Oh my gosh -- this was genuinely the worst restaurant experience I've ever had in the UK…read more We politely mentioned that we didn't enjoy one of the pasta dishes and simply requested a small modification. Instead of trying to resolve the issue professionally, the owner became extremely rude and dismissive. Shockingly, he brought us the bill immediately, refused to serve the rest of the items we had already ordered (including the tiramisu), and directly asked us to leave the restaurant. We were calm and respectful throughout the interaction, but he refused to even listen to our side before abruptly ending the conversation with, "I'll get your bill," and telling us to leave. I honestly don't know whether he was irritated because we had an infant with us or because we requested a modification, but the behaviour was completely unacceptable and deeply disappointing. I still can't believe a restaurant in London could treat customers this way. Truly unbelievable service and an experience I would never want anyone else to go through. We initially ordered 3 items. The pizza was absolutely fine, so we never raised any concern about it. However, the pasta simply didn't suit our taste buds, so we politely requested a few alterations. Instead of handling it professionally, you refused to serve the tiramisu as well -- assuming we'd dislike that too and ask for modifications? Honestly, I wish I had taken a picture of the pasta to show how it looked. As a restaurant owner, you should understand that every customer has different taste preferences. And just for clarification -- we never asked for the pasta to be cancelled. In fact, we were even willing to pack it and take it home after paying for it, despite not liking the taste. You were the one who offered to cancel the remaining order, and we simply agreed. I would humbly request whoever is in charge to please check the CCTV footage and see whether we were ever rude while requesting alterations. Throughout the interaction, you only kept speaking from your side and didn't even give my wife a chance to explain. Is that really what good customer service looks like?

The upstairs is a corner view onto a street with dark woods and leather booths, while inside an open kitchen and a low-key young crew is putting out some simple, tasty food. Mostly appetizers, pastas and some pesce and carne dishes. Not a destination, but a good spot and one of the few restaurants on the street open on a Sunday. The downstairs basement hosts a cocktail bar that was closed on the Sunday we visited. We enjoyed the feel of the place, along with a bit of montepulciano d'abruzzo, some olives, a green salad, pork belly and a toothsome risotto with zucchini and prawns. Not a bad meal, priced pretty well, and a nice setting with friendly staff. We had such a good time that we failed to notice the police inspectress inside talking to the Paesan crew. The white and red police tape line both inside and outside the restaurant were in our peripheral view the whole dinner, but once outside, we noticed that a gigantic police triangle of tape took up the entire street corner, a female inspector was stationed there, and that down on the cobblestone sidewalk, a streetful of dessicated lemon and lime wedges lay from the night before, leading us to ponder, what exactly had happened here?

The waitress was helpful and calm and the red wine warm and fruity. I'll come again for definites.
