Piccolino has mastered the art of Italian cuisine, offering a menu that captures the true essence of Italy's culinary tradition. From classic pasta dishes to expertly cooked meats and seafood, the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Whether you're savoring a creamy Risotto alla Milanese, or indulging in their Tagliatelle with Lobster, each dish is prepared with top-quality ingredients and infused with rich, authentic flavors. The attention to detail in every dish is clear, ensuring that each bite transports you straight to Italy. The ambiance at Piccolino is a perfect blend of sophistication and warmth. The interiors are designed with modern elegance, featuring contemporary art, luxurious furnishings, and soft lighting that creates a relaxed yet refined environment Service was amazing 5/5

Capesante (king scallops w/ garlic, chili, and parsley)

Very very pleased with my dining experience here! I was dining alone and felt very taken care of! I did opt for an earlier dinner (early for Europe, I arrived around 5/530) and it was not busy. By the time I left it was getting quite packed and it was mid week! I had a glass of wine which paired really nicely with all my food. The scallops for my appetizer were amazing!! So large and cooked perfectly. The presentation on the shell was very nice. The chicken parm as my entree was also delicious and probably one of the biggest pieces of chicken I've ever had. It was pounded thin and was super crispy and was basically exactly what you would want for this dish. The side of spaghetti was fine, definitely not the star of the dish but still good. For my dessert I had the chocolate panna cotta and this was also very yummy! Everything on the menu sounded great so it was hard to choose. I felt that everything was very fairly priced for a nice Italian dinner and as mentioned, the service was great and efficient. The ambience of the restaurant was also nice. It was darker lighting and pretty cozy!

A cozy restaurant located on a small side street just off Regent. Polite, efficient service and excellent food. We enjoyed their traditional lasagna and the branzino filets with a caper and tomato sauce and friarielli, both very good. A chocolate fondant dessert with chocolate sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream was a great way to top off the meal.

Excellent food, excellent service in a very classy setting. Had truffle mushroom risotto to start with cheese and was delicious. Also bread board which was fresh and good. They have an open kitchen. Which I always love. Entree was veal Milanese cooked to perfection with rosemary roasted potatoes and a vegetable which is an Italian delicacy. Al aka carte which was only downside, bread too was ala carte. The wine was fabulous a wine from Puglia. On the whole a great experience.

Piccolino is an interesting one. Located just off Regent Street on a more quite lane; it's a restaurant that looks quite elegant/posh from the outside, but surprisingly friendly in it's pricing point. While I'm not saying it's like dirt cheap; the ~£13-15 price point for a pasta dish is not unreasonable in this side of town. Yes it is on the pricy end if you just wanted to fill your stomach; but the alternative around this area is really just Pret or sandwiches of other sorts. Service was great; the complimentary bread is always a plus! Pasta was really tasty (probably cause we were quite hungry at that point), and portion is not overly lacking. If i have to give it a fair assessment, i think it's more a £10-12 dish, but i suppose you have to pay for the location and the 'complimentary' bread. meh~ All In all, I enjoyed the meal.

Salmon with mussels- delicious!

Food and ambiance are great! I went in pretty late, before closing. The waiter was very helpful with great recommendations. I had the salmon with mussels on a bed of spinach delicious! I highly recommend them.

Great food. Sat outside and enjoyed the patio heaters. It is a bit expensive but it's London. Carbonara was excellent.

Non usano nemmeno il parmigiano reggiano e il guanciale nella carbonara! Odio questo ristorante, è così terribile e non tornerò mai più qui!

Everyone was attentive, welcoming, and made the whole meal feel easy and relaxed without being too formal. Food wise, everything was really good. I ordered the cacio e pepe and it was cooked perfectly. Simple dish, but when it's done right, it really hits. The drinks were also great and ended up being the perfect start before walking around the neighborhood afterward. Overall, just a really solid Italian spot in a beautiful part of London.

The hostesses were nice but spunky, taking no crap whatsoever. Our waitress was very nice. We had a stop and chat with her midway through the meal. There was a variety of wines at a variety of price points. The primitivo got the job done. The restaurant presented an excellent bread basket to start. It was delicious- a great contrast to the notoriously bland bread that we recently had in Florence. We shared an order or grilled asparagus to start, in a somewhat futile attempt to be healthy. It was pretty good, but there were a lot more interesting choices at the top of the menu. My wife had the tortellaci with ricotta and spinach. It was very good but was sitting in a pool of butter. I had tagliatelle Bolognese. It was good. Very nice space with very good food. Keep the outdoor seating in mind for a nice day.

My husband and I stumbled (quite literally) into Bocconcino after hitting a wall of jet lag and…read morehunger. The hostess took pity on us and allowed us spots at the bar without reservations. The bartender was absolutely charming and amazing, and he made a truly outstanding Ramos Gin Fizz (a cocktail from New Orleans that few people know how to make, and even fewer want to make). Not sure how that cocktail came up, but he seriously deserves a round of applause for making not one, but two. He truly revived my soul! I split the gazpacho and short rib pasta with my husband. The short rib pasta was magically both light and hearty; it was exactly what we needed after 18 hours of travel. We frequently travel, and I am highly skeptical of Italian food when outside of Italy. Bocconcino was an authentic experience that rivals many of our meals in Rome. Maybe it was jet lag, but I did almost lock myself into the water closet and luckily after a few minutes manage to unlock the stall door without calling for assurance. I suggest visiting with a friend for gossip and security! As far as ambiance, there was great people watching with the Saturday evening patrons; it was an experience in learning about London 'going out' fashion, and watching the very attractive staff interact with customers was a prime education in upper class customer service/flirting. My parting comment is that the bartender stole my heart and I hope to have another of his delicious beverages on a future trip!
