"James for Boca Bargoons' Employee of the Year"! No, wait! "James for Boca Bargoons CEO"! At age 68, I've done a ton of shopping on this planet, but I've never experienced the extraordinary service that James rendered today. Last December (2011), I ordered 19 yards of a fabric from Boca and had my sunroom sofa recovered. This past November, my dog ate huge chunks off both sofa arms. Obviously, I needed more of the fabric, but -- imbecile that I am -- I had no record of the fabric's maker or pattern number. All I had was a Visa record (date, amount, AND A MYRIAD STRANGE NUMBERS) of my initial purchase. This morning I arrived at the Alpharettta store with only a prayer and a sofa pillow in the fabric. James immediately sensed my desparation; and with unbounded enthusiasm, dogged determination, and enviable computer skills, he rapidly acessed the initial sales form from 2011, called the fabric manufacturer, and had the replacement fabric on its way to the Alpharetta store. I had imagined that I would spend the entire day -- or more -- flipping through fabric sample books. James solved the problem in an instant. I HAVEN'T GOTTEN THAT TEARY SINCE BAMBI' MOTHER DIED BACK IN THE 1940s MOVIE! What a remarkable employee! James struck me as the sort of fellow who loves to run with a near-impossible challenge. He obviously loves the thrill of the chase -- and solving customers' dilemnas. Boca was smart to hire him and would be wise to keep him. To anyone with fabric needs: please shop at Boca Bargoons in Alpharetta. I have never had such an amazing experience fabric shopping. Not only do the employees make picking your desired fabric stress-free and easy but I can 100% say they care about every customer that walks in that door. My mother and I went in there for the first time last week looking to reupholster an old chair for my room and as we were checking out, I causally mentioned a surgery I had coming up. Lynn without hesitation told me she was going to drop off two hand-made mask for me to pick up the next day. Her kindness to me brings tears to my eyes. Sure enough she followed up the next day saying she had dropped off the mask and she would like, if I was willing, to know more about my surgery so she could pray for me. These are the type of companies that make me happy to support. I had my surgery today and Lynn's mask made it so much easier on me. I have been a customer of Boca Bargoons (Alpharetta location) for many years. They have reupholstered 3 chairs for me in the past. I want to tell you about an experience that I had this week that confirms why I love this store. I have a 25 year old Glider Rocker from when my oldest child was born. I am a new Grandmother, so I wanted to keep the rocker. However, the original fabric was dated. So, I went into this store back in February and Elizabeth helped me find the perfect fabric. I took everything to another upholsterer closer to my home. 3 months went by and still no work had been done. I decided to go back to Boca Bargoons to see if they could recommend someone and Diane was so helpful. She said that they could do the reupholstering there. I was beyond thrilled. Reading the previously posted reviews I am not certain we are reviewing the same store. I have been using the services there for years. I have had drapes, bedspreads, valances, pillows... you name it. Saonara and Elizabeth have always been more than helpful whether assisting to find fabrics in the store or bringing out books of fabric they believe will work for me. I have shopped around to other shops and found their prices to be competitive. Just in the last few months I have ordered 3 coverlets, 4 shams and even had an extremely expensive belgian linen blanket cut and made in to 2 oversized pillows. this order was ready even before it was promised. I would and have recommended Boca Bargains to family and friends. read more

I was in the Boca store in Arizona about 10 years ago and had 2 chairs and an ottoman reupholstered. My wife and I moved to Buckhead about 5 years ago to be closer to my mother. I was driving my son's friend home from a sleepover who lives in Suwannee and saw a Boca store on way... When I got home I asked my wife if it could be the same fabric store that we used in AZ. Anyway, turns out it was. Long story short, we just picked up 6 dining room chairs and an old club chair that was my wife's mother's. The staff was fun, knowledgeable and friendly. The furniture came out better than we even thought it would and we saved A LOT of money on the fabric, what a value! So glad we found it!! read more

I had THE MOST AWESOME EXPERIENCE at Boca. The salesman Todd was soooo helpful in helping me pick out the perfect pattern for my wingback chair. He draped the sample chair about 100x before we got to one that felt perfect for my living room. The owner was fabulous in giving me a great price and another woman, her name escapes me, was also very helpful in bringing me options, but Todd went beyond what I would have expected. I continue to refer them to friends and will be going back when I recover my 2 couches in the new year. Thanks for your excellent customer service! I just had to write a review in thanks for all of the great help I received from Sonara and Diane! My mother-in-law is coming to visit and I needed to recover my kitchen table chairs. Not only did they come up with great suggestions, but Sonara's knowledge saved me money. She spent the time to not only explain to me how to cut and measure the fabric so I didn't need as much, she also took her time to tape exactly where I should cut the fabric. My daughter and I recently visited Boca Bargoons in Alpharetta this Holiday Season, to find fabric for her new bedroom(curtains and pillows) to match her customized Tween decor. Lol! Their approach and knowledge of the stores inventory was welcomed and very refreshing. I am appreciative of the way the staff explained the different ways I could combine the various textures and styles of fabric to suit my daughters customized vision she has for her bedroom. I I went to Boca Bargoons and asked Elizabeth for some help. I was having a very difficult time making a decision to mix patterns, tweeds and other fabrics. As soon as I showed her my samples and told her what I planned, she led me to some new options and they were perfect! Came in looking for fabrics for several projects and left with several pieces where, when there would have been a yard or less left of the fabric, they just gave me the rest at no extra charge! It was a really busy Saturday but they were checking on everyone as they passed while helping other people. Got some tips on piping and putting together the cover I was making too. There are some pricey fabrics in there, but always a variety of prices and good bargains to be found! First choice for interior fabric, I'll be back! read more

I don't know why there are low reviews on Yelp for this amazing fabric store. I know they don't upholster unless you buy your fabric there but I get that. If something happens during the process and more fabric is needed they can get it right away.They have a huge inventory, great prices, require masks and have sanitized scissors to cut samples with. I love this place and the drapes and bedding they custom made for me are beautiful and wearing well. Worth the drive! read more

Really wonderful time at Boca Bargoons. Glad they are open on Sunday. Brought my mother to pick things out for her retirement home. Very helpful staff and knowledgeable on fabrics and upholstery. The sales persons helped so much with picking out fabrics and pointed us in the right direction. Also, yardage on what we need for chairs and love seat. Will be back after we make choices. After she pulled fabrics and books and relayed info over the phone I drove over an hour to get to the store.
