Service was quick. I like the originality of this location. Instead of number or name being called you will receive a playing card . Price was great I like better than Subway. Definitely stop through.

Cute little sub shop in a strip mall wasteland area. Good food. Decadent doughnuts. Good music playing, too.

Great place to stop by for a quick bite. Super fresh sandwiches. The bread they use is amazing. I recommend the spicy Italian.

A Culinary Adventure I'll Never Forget (No Matter How Hard I Try)…read more Oh, where do I even begin with Tarentum Station? Actually, let me start by saying that if you've ever wondered what it's like to pay good money for a truly spectacular display of incompetence, this is your place. We walked in with such hope. Such naive, foolish hope. Twenty minutes later, we were still hoping... for our drinks. Yes, you read that right. Twenty minutes to get a beverage order taken. I can only assume our waitress was training for some kind of Olympic speed-walking event, because she was certainly rushing around the restaurant like her life depended on it. Attending to us? Not so much. She had the frantic energy of someone who'd had six espressos but the attention span of a goldfish. When the French onion soup finally arrived (and by "finally" I mean after we'd aged approximately seven years), I took one spoonful and immediately understood what dishwater must taste like. Not that I make a habit of sampling cleaning products, but now I don't have to. The kitchen at Tarentum Station has thoughtfully recreated the experience for me. I'm not sure what they did to that soup, but "onion" and "French" seemed like purely theoretical concepts in whatever that liquid was. Two hours. Let me repeat that. TWO HOURS for our entrees to arrive. I've had shorter dental procedures. At this point, we were so hungry we probably would have eaten the menus. When the food finally graced our table, it was cold. Ice cold. Room temperature if the room was a meat locker. We sent it back, naturally, because we're optimists. It returned... still cold. Apparently "reheat" means something different in their kitchen. Maybe they just waved it near the stove and hoped for the best? And the taste? Oh, the taste was the grand finale of this disaster symphony. If the temperature had been the only problem, we might have survived. But no, the food itself was aggressively bad. The kind of bad that makes you question whether the chef has ever actually eaten food before, or if they're just working from a vague description someone gave them once. The service was somehow even worse than the food, which is really saying something. Our waitress appeared to be everywhere and nowhere simultaneously, like some kind of unhelpful quantum particle. Do yourself a favor: if you're near Tarentum Station and you're hungry, keep driving. Order pizza. Make a sandwich. Forage for berries in the woods. Literally anything would be a better use of your time and money than eating here. Zero stars. Would give negative stars if possible.

So,when I go here the food is good but I would have to say that I've never had a good experience…read morewith the service here (over a dozen times). Why did we keep going? Because we wanted to support a small business in the community that we live in. My personal hope was that it would improve somewhere along the way .My family and I have had horrendous service especially the past three times so unfortunately we will not be going back. Maybe only to order takeout. I will tell you about the past two times. My husband and I walked in on a busy Saturday evening with no reservations (silly I know). Everybody that worked in the whole restaurant walked past multiple times without saying a word. I guess everyone else thought that someone else said greeted us or asked how many. No exaggeration, we stood there for 20 minutes before a bus boy even ask how many. He said he just had to clean a table. He sat us down eventually and I could see/hear a server yelling at the young teen demanding to know why he sat her. He came over to get our drink order and I asked if she was mad that he sat us. He kind of mumbled something and I said,"Well,, if she doesn't want our business then we can just leave." My husband left it up to me and we got up and walked out because at this point I already had a bad taste in my mouth .Having been a server for over 10 years myself I was very offended by this treatment. We are very easy to take care of and are good tippers so she missed out on probably $20 right there. Your staff could say Buddy "I'll be with you in a minute." That would even be better than outright ignoring your customers standing there waiting to give you their business... The very last time we went, I made reservations for my family of four at 6:45 on a Friday. We arrived at about 6:40. Again, every worker in the whole restaurant walked past without acknowledging us. After about 10 minutes a bus boy asked how many. I said four and that we had reservations for 6:45. He didn't say anything and walked away. I could see at least two empty and clean tables on both side sides of the restaurant. At 7:05 I asked the same bus boy what was going on. He said they were just waiting to clean a table, and as I previously stated there were already clean tables. A party came in behind us and another bus boy asked right away if that was the rest of our party. I pretty much said no and that our whole party was here waiting already and that it was just the four of us and we had a reservation for 6:45.He said something about this is why I should've asked you myself. He told us(at 7:10) to follow him and took us to one of the empty booths that had been open the whole time we were standing there. He apologized profusely and then got our drinks. The server that we had wasn't very friendly but took our order right away. The bus boy brought our soups and salad, got us refills, took our dirty plates, and got us boxes. I feel as though he should've gotten the tip seeing as how the server only took our order and dropped the check off. Your bus boys are wonderful and keep your restaurant running smoothly.
