Pretty cool that the prep stations are at the entrance of the restaurant. Even if you are just picking up takeout, you can watch them make pizzas and put the finishing touches on garlic breadsticks. Anthony's does burn your pizza on purpose and yes... it tastes good. But this place NEEDS to be known more for their chicken wings. The classic wood fired wings smothered in caramelized onions will be my favorite, but they just added some dry rubs that are also phenomenal. The cauliflower pizza that we ordered today was not good. the cauliflower was not cooked properly, not marinated, it was dry. I have noticed it has been hit or miss lately. I have been here a few times before but it has been a good 2 years since I was last able to visit . Upon entering, the hostess and a male server were fighting about taking a table, it made for quite the awkward entrance. Fortunately, another male server walked over and offered us a table which was super nice. We sat a low top by the bar and admired all of the famous entertainers photos on the wall . We had mojitos and an Italian lemonade , delicious ! For food, we ordered the Stromboli , meatballs and Italian tuna sandwich. All were absolutely to die for ! We dined in on a cold Sunday night, so it wasn't really busy but that's understandable. Our service was super friendly and quick and was really accommodating with our infant son! We started with the Caprese salad that was really good. I do think that it was overpriced considering it was two slices of tomato and two slices for mozzarella for $10. A tale of two meals had a sausage sandwich here and it was amazing the next day I had the Alfredo which was a massive letdown.

When I tell you the pizza was delicious & the eggplant was so flavorful They will let you do a half & half which is great because you can try 2 of the great combinations in one visit. My new buddy was Shaine because he was so much more than a server! Not only helped with menu selections he was attentive filled our drinks and confirmed to ensure. Top tier service because I don't like when I start with a Diet Coke and have a regular coke returned. He even brought a to go cup with ice for me when he brought the box to take home the rest of the tasty pizza that was perfect the next day in the air fryer. We had half ricotta, hot peppers & sausage and the other half was carnivore - loaded with meat! The restaurant is decorated with such classy pictures mixed with sport pictures and has an entirely cool vibe with an awesome mix of music that lets you hmmm & sway a bit as you enjoy the deliciousness of the food. I love Anthony's coal fired pizza. They have one of the best pizzas you can get. The crust is always crispy and delicious. We loved the wings too (must have). The place is set up like a restaurant and not a dingy pizza parlor like a lot of other places. I like how you can see the people over the counter being clean along with the servers being people who are actually attentive and do a good job. Great food and service. We've been coming here for years. We especially love hand tossed pizza with prosciutto , artichokes, and olives. The prices are good, atmosphere is cozy. For starters we got the wings 5 for $9.99. They came out warm not hot. The garlic knots are more like rolls. Those were good. Also had the "homemade" lemonade very syrup sweet. The thick cut (not really) pepperoni and sausage pizza. It was very oily from the pepperoni grease. It tastes good those especially the sausage nice and crumbly. My son and I came to Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza after Christmas shopping at Miracle Mile. I liked the atmosphere, they have a nice seating area and a decent size bar. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We started out with some garlic knots, which were ok. We also split a pizza. We did have cheese and half Kalmatta Olives. I really liked the sauce and cheese. The olives gave a nice salty touch. Definitely a pretty good meal! read more

My boyfriend has been wanting to try this for months now, so we got takeout last night for dinner. The worker at the front was very kind but we both forgot to grab my cans of pop, went back in and got them with no issue. Now the food, I love a good coal fired pizza but this one seemed to be a bit more charred on the edges than I like. My boyfriend didn't like the pizza at all, nor did he like the sauce because almost every bite he took had a huge chunk of tomato. We prefer the tomato's to be more fine in our pizza sauces. After a very long day, Saturday night my daughter, my guy and I went to one of our favorite eateries and decided to eat at the bar as the seating was comfortable. Bronlyn was the fab bartender who quickly brought our Kentucky bourbon chilled to perfection beers in the perfect goblets. She was above and beyond as our server while she took care of everyone at the bar. We started off with their amazing Caesar's salad to share, the original wings with sautéed onions which were the best we've ever had. The large pizza, all with sweet peppers and one half with crispy prosciutto and half with pepperoni was served piping hot as she plated a piece for each of us. She made our night even better due to being friendly, attentive and so on point. Oh, don't forget to be a member of their rewards program for special offers and points accumulated for future savings! Amazing food and great service. My husband and I sat at the bar. We were given samples of the beer on tap and the white and red sangria so we could make a good choice on something we would enjoy - and it worked! We each found something we liked and ordered a drink. For food - we had garlic knots (complimentary since it was our first time there), the house salad - get a small and split it as the small is quite large - chicken wings with the dry rub, and the Margherita pizza. The bartender gave us a free meatball to try also and it was amazing. I have not eaten that much in a long time! Highly recommend trying this restaurant! The bartender also shared with us they have a rewards program where you get a free pizza when you sign up. This is an absolute staple for lunch. I havent had too many pizzas places that I appreciate this much in the pittsburgh area. Great selection of different pizzas. A personal favorite is the carnivori, I end up getting the large and I have dinner for days. Their chicken wings are not joke either, extremely moist interior, crispy exterior and they have a wonderful flavor.
