I meant to send this review in several weeks ago and obviously I didn't so here goes. I came with my son who was having break problems with the idea to get a brake inspection and probably new brakes or whatever was needed. They took it for a test drive. You could almost push the brake all the way down before it would stop and it didn't stop very well. We were expecting the worst but after about half an hour they put the tires back on and came in to talk to us. They said that they adjusted something on the brake and now it was so much easier to stop and also it would give us a lot more time before he had to spend money on new brakes. What was the charge, I asked? No charge they said. We walked out of there like we were walking on clouds. What could've been several hundred dollars ended up costing us nothing. I bought all 4 tires a month ago.One of tires was completely striped within that time frame. I brought it back to bobs ok tires and customer service rep Lisa replaced both front tires free of charge and without any further questions. Exceptional service. Validated my concerns and fixed problem without ANY hesitation. I recommend this tire shop because original tires I bought were used without warranty and I had no issues getting it fixed. I didn't have to wait even 5 mins before my car was on lift and tires were being replaced. Lately I'm hesitant to purchase anything because so many business have "the little print" to screw you out of any help if something happened ultimately me more. Our tire got torn up in a freak accident, so we needed a replacement. The mechanic went above and beyond to help us. They couldn't find one that matched our other ones, and told us to head over to the other Bob OK tires on the other side of time as they are guaranteed to have the tire we needed. The guy who told us to go to the other location mentioned that he was cousins with the owner, so kudos to him. We got our tire and recommend this company based off their customer service. read more

Really honest and knowledgeable people! I was told my tire was on the verge of blowing out right before my drive to California. After trying so many tire stores for my size wheel, Bob's was referred to me and they got me in and out under an hour with absolutely no issues. Their prices are very reasonable too, especially for an emergency/last minute expense. To top it off, everyone there is extremely friendly and treated me like family. Great service and great prices. They have really saved me a lot of money over the years. Most notably when I had a SUV with All-Wheel Drive and a flat tire that Discount Tire said could not be fixed. (I only went to Discount Tire because I had the paperwork on the tires from the previous owner of the SUV). Because my tires wear at about half of there life the salesman at Discount was pretty insistent that I would have to buy 4 tires so I would no damage the All-Wheel Drive. I went to Bob's to see if they could fix the tire. It indeed could not be fixed however they had a used tire that was the same brand & size and very similar wear to my other 3 tires. $50 was a lot better than $875! Sure $875 would have gotten me 4 NEW tires but I already had 3 with literally 10's of thousands of miles left on them. As it turned out, the SUV only had 15,000 miles left in it! read more

This family owned company is sketchy! Pretty sure they are selling more than tires! Poor customer service and the shop is a disaster! Tires sit out in the sun and it can't be safe to walk into their office with all the OLD RUSTY wheels piled ON TOP of the roof! I used to live in this part of town but still drive over here for any tire issues. Bob's crew always takes care of me in the most economical way possible. They've fixed my flats and replaced one, two and four tires for me with both new and used stock. Always fast and friendly I can't recommend them enough! read more

The only place in town that I could find a used steel rim. Service was quick and professional. This shop reminds you of what an old tire shop should be. Greasy grimy dirty and manly. When you step into the office you are greeted by the woman behind the counter. She looks like somebody you wouldn't want to mess with. She's got enough attitude for everyone in the room. My family has used Bob's OK Tire Store for years but they broke a taillight either getting tires into or out of the back of our Ford Explorer and the owner, Lisa, accused us of making it up and said that they did not break it and will not replace it. Period. She was extremely rude and nasty to me, my partner and my law firm administrator, implying that I made up the damage to get a free taillight. I own and run a busy law firm, and believe me, this is the last thing I would need to make up. There is no doubt that Bob's damaged the light as I noticed it as soon as my partner brought the car back to the house. Lisa told me personally that her installers would have said something to her if they broke the light, but Eric, the installer did not deny they could have broken it, and was trying to find a replacement at a local wrecking yard, when Lisa said they would not replace it. Because of how rudely Lisa treated us, our entire extended family will move our business to the other OK Tire Store. I own and run a small business myself, and I would never treat a customer in the way we were treated. There are some wonderful, family owned tire stores in Salem. I suggest you use one of them and not take your business to Bob's. read more

I went into Bob's today because the local Les Schwab on Barnes tried again to sell me 2 new tires for what was to be a simple tire rotation. Schwab was going to charge me $290.98 to replace two front tires on a Saturn so I went to my friends at Bob's and bought a pair of used tires for $70.00 mounted balance and rotated!!! The lady at Bob's referred to Les Schwab as the "Tire Police" and I agree because anytime I have brought a car or truck to them even for a simple flat they try to sell you a set of new tires. I'm glad Bob's is a straight shooter and the people there are honest unlike the people at schwab. I won't waste my time with anyone else the next time. They suck they tried to sell me a used 245/35/20 tire for 100 I got a brand new one over at Martinez tires for 70 installed I will never use bobs for any service again not to mention the woman and man who take calls where very rude on the phone read more
