Superior Tire Service - Tires Near Me - Salem, Oregon

Didn't know Superior Tire existed for many years even though we live pretty close. When a friend recommended them, I tried them out for a tire rotation and have been coming to Superior for all our tires for a number of years now. Great customer service. read more

It baffles me that I have not reviewed this business before, as I've been patronizing them for years. A few days ago I had them clean and repack the front wheel bearings on my GMC Sierra. Cost came to less than $100 and the job was finished in one hour and fifteen minutes. The dealership refused to do it... The waiting room is way above average in comfort, with a coffee machine and desks where one can sit and read a book or magazines while waiting. The staff is very pleasant to deal with. read more

I brought my truck in for some front end work and an honest mistake was made during that visit. A second visit didn't solve the problem. After i left an honest, unflattering review of my experience, I was immediately reached out to and one email later, Superior made everything right, without zero hassle on their part. I couldn't be happier with the resolution and will have no hesitation to return and I encourage others to do the same. read more

Professional, Clean, Fair Prices. The mechanics that work there look to enjoy their jobs. I got tires for my wifes car, very reasonable and install was timely. I hit a brick that fell off a truck in my new car, alignment was off. They balanced the tire, did an alignment, and all seems perfect. This is my local tire shop from now on. Thanks all. read more

When they installed new tires on my motorhome, they forgot to align the valves in such a way that my tire pressure gauge could make proper connection and give me a valid reading. Upon my return, they worked diligently to make everything right. I appreciate how they took care of me quickly and with the attitude that, they want to see me come back :-) read more

When you find a mechanic you can trust, you have to share. We went here for a second opinion. They were very helpful. They didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. We save over $500 (half of our fist quote) and have found our new "go-to" for tires and breaks. read more

I cut a tire the day before we headed back to CA. I called them the next morning. They had the exact tire we needed at a good price and were able to put it on right away. They were so friendly and helpful. I would recommend them so much! read more

Driving 1000 miles from California to Oregon and then we had a weird wobble in the tire and we wanted to have a checked out. Les Shawn try to make us wait one hour and he wanted to even charge us for balancing before they even inspected. Superior tire test drove it and then was very friendly and careful to only charges what was needed and they were even cheaper than this Les Schwab and Faster! This place has the most amazing customer service! During a road trip through Oregon, my tire blew up on I-5 at 4 pm on a Friday. The staff stayed for hours after closing to get me back on the road. They have a pristine waiting room, where you can relax while they work on your car. Highly recommend taking your car here. read more

We picked up two nails driving to Portland. We're not from the area but went on here to see stellar reviews and decided to come here. Got two tire repairs in 45 minutes. Amazing, great prices, genuine staff, and my car is all taken care of. These guys are the real deal. Thank you for helping us so quickly! read more

I'm completely blown away! I would give it more stars if I could. Amazing service and almost no wait time. We where currently driving La-Seattle. We got a flat(completely flat) and stumbled across this tire service. We expected a not so cheap tire repair service. And got surprised when they said "your free to go, we don't charge for tire repairs" HA! In LA is minimum 20 bucks. Thank you!! read more

Couldn't find anyone that could solve death wobble for my Jeep wj. Went there for an alignment for Audi TT, inquired for a recommendation where to go for a rare parking light bulb, an associate went above and beyond calling parts stores around and giving me clear directions where to go, and who to ask for. Amazed with service. read more

I went to Superior tire service Monday morning to repair a flat tire on my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee. They got me in and out in no time! They offered me coffee while I waited, didn't try to sell me new tires like Les Schab always does and didn't charge me a penny!!! Great people great staff and great service! Thank Superior I'll see you when I need new tires. read more

The last three times we have been there at least 2 hour wait, that is with two guys working on it. The valve steams are all different sizes. They tried to give us dented center caps. This was just for putting existing tires on new rims. Horrible Service. read more

Best company to have your vehicle serviced. They stayed after hours and took care of my brand new dodge. The manager Hector is amazing. The two techs George and Aaron killed it and installed a lift on my truck. Trust me when I tell you that this is the best tire place in Salem! read more

When we went up to visit family in Oregon along the way we ended up with 2 flat tires. Since all 4 were pretty old we opted to have them all replaced. We called up Superior Tire and they said they had our tires and the price was right so we headed up to them and had them done. We continued our trip and had a great time before returning to the Sacramento, CA area where we put our RV away until Thanksgiving (3 1/2 months later). As a service our RV storage place will top off our tires before we pick the unit up. As they were doing so they noticed that I had 2 different sizes on the rig and called to let me know. I pulled my receipt and it showed 4 of the same size so I was not sure why this was the case. I e-mailed Superior Tire (and since it was the holidays it took a few days to get a reply) and when they replied instead of any type of push back or argument (as I would expect) they apologized for the inconvenience and even reached out to a partner tire company in Sacramento to swap out the tires at no cost to me. To be completely honest I was expecting some sort of resistance to getting this resolved and instead was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and courtesy I received. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is because the issue happened in the first place but I would still recommend Superior Tire to anyone!!! Thanks again, Scott Hinkle read more

I get great service every time I go here. Preston and Rick take care of their customers! They thought it would be $300 to fix my blower motor, but it was only 189.99. They could have made extra money off of me, but instead they were honest and didn't overcharge me! I highly recommend them every time! read more

I've been to this store a handful of times over the past decade and they did a great job every time. This last time I took my old truck in for a front wheel alignment and, after it was lifted and inspected, I was told there were several steering/suspension repairs that needed to be done before an alignment should be performed. I didn't doubt this as this was something I was suspecting myself. The gentleman I spoke with (too bad I didn't get his name--his employee number on the invoice was 00691) was extremely helpful and polite. There was no charge for itemizing all the work I needed done and even after I said I would probably handle those myself, there was not even a hint of pushy sales attempts. I will definitely be back for the alignment or even some of the repairs. read more

I just went to Superior to get my tires rotated. I was in and out in 25 minutes and they didn't charge me! The site is clean, comfortable and great customer service! I would highly recommend Superior Tire Service and will get my business again! read more

This place is great. Clean facility and nice waiting room. Prices are fair and they are honest. I had to go with my 2 kids since it was summer vacation. They gave both of my daughters a Michelin soccer ball and bubbles. Free wi-fi. Make an appt. read more

I took my BMW there for an oil change. They changed the oil and fixed a few minor thngs at their recommendation. The bill was outrageous and when I picked up the car there were more lights on on my dash and my windshield wipers were not working. I wish I didn't have to take it back to them to fix these issues now, but I don't want to pay for another shop to do it right. This shop is awful. If you want your car fixed right the first time, take it somewhere else. read more

Took my car in because there was vibration and a grinding noise. I figured it had something to do with the tires. I'm about to trade the car in so I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on repairs. They found the problem quickly, and it was a bad tire as expected. They had a spare in the back. They put it on, test drove it, and sent me on my way only having spent $40. It all took an hour. I had called the day before, an hour before closing, and they accommodated me with an appointment the next morning. What I really liked about this place is they didn't try to sell me on anything else, only what I went in for. Plus, without asking they fixed the shoulder belt that had gotten so tangled up, I had given up on it. In my limited interaction, they were courteous and professional. I definitely recommend these guys. read more
