Needed a new lock which was not in stock. It was for commercial property that had to be locked up by days end. Mike at Bob's locksmith really saved the day. He told me to bring in the old cylnder with all the parts and he may be able to repair it. True to his word he fixed it while I waited, and it was under $50.00 total. I moved into an old house and called Bob's to replace a deadbolt. The locksmith replaced the deadbolt but as soon as it was installed it wouldn't lock and unlock consistently. It would get jammed so that the key couldn't open it and the lock seemed a little loose. The locksmith got it to close and open ok and gave the advice that I shouldn't lock it unless I'm in the house... What can I say about Bob's Locksmith?? I reached out to them In my time of need when our vehicle keys fell out of a rip in my book bag. I was greeted over the phone as if I was the most important person. ( sometimes as we all know over the phone service is 50/50) they were knowledgeable in each step I had to take to get new one. I got locked out of my garage, which had a simple lock. They quoted me $85 and sent what appeared to be a junior unskilled apprentice that could not pick the lock. What should have took 30 seconds dragged on 15 minutes as he randomly jammed the pick to no avail. Needless to say, he gave up and drilled out the lock and had to replace it at $130. Of course, they didn't forewarn me that it could be that price if they couldn't pick the lock, so I was kind of shock when they gave me that additional charge. read more

They scheduled someone to come a few hours later and the person was on time. The locksmith was quick and efficient, replacing and fitting a deadbolt within less than 1/2 an hour. I cannot possibly express how grateful I am to this company and its employees (both this one and the one on richmond Avenue). These guys saved me (not to mention a ton of money in towing expenses) on a freezing and snowy day. My car key literally snapped in two pieces and I was left with only one half of my key, and stranded in a parking lot. Not only did these guys come to help, but Danny actually CREATED me a key using his own, half of mine, and a file. It was not only impressive, but possibly the best customer service I've ever had. His make shift key was able to start my car so I could then take it to his brother in the shop on victory Blvd who was incredibly kind and helpful and made me three, functional, whole keys just Incase anything ever happened again. He went out of his way to research and decode the key so I wouldn't be charged an arm and a leg.These guys give unparalleled service, at an exceptionally reasonable price. 4 years ago I took a key in to be made from a 1 year old door lock, key made did not work, took it back 3 different times, key never worked. Took it to Lowe's key is made, key works. A couple of months ago I take a different key in again key made does not work. So where do I go? Yeah Lowe's and the key, guess what? It works. So I would really give them 1 star but added 1 because I'm dumb enough to go here twice for simple keys only to waste $4. Is it that hard to make a key without excuses why it doesn't work? How is that Lowe's can cut a key with people who aren't trained locksmiths but this place which has been around forever can't? Bob's I want to like you, why do you fail me? read more
