I went to this laundromat because my washing machine suddenly broke down. Everything was fine! The machines were clean and working properly. They have small machines that cost $3.50 and large ones that cost $6.50, and drying is $0.25 for 5 minutes. But as you know, 5 minutes isn't enough to dry your clothes. I estimate that each drying session would cost you about $1.75 ; It depends on what you put in the dryer; if it's blankets, it might be is around $3.00. read more

This is the worst laundromat ever. The employee is very sweet but the laundry machines and dryers are absolute TRASH and the worst quality. I put in my favorite red jansport backpack that was completely still in new condition in the washer and after it was washed , it was completely trashed and ripped everywhere afterwards . When I put this in other laundry mat machines and dryers , this has NEVER EVER happened . Don't ever come here and ruin your clothing or items. The outcome will be: They will become ripped and torn apart afterwards . read more

What could improve? The prices. The prices have gone up yet again- 40lb washers: $6.25, 30lb washers: $5.00, 20lb washers + white washers: $3.50. Dryers $0.25 for 5 minutes now. The dryers use to be 7 minutes for a quarter and still sucked just as much, and they take sooooo many quarters to dry your clothes. My clothes will be in the dryer for 28 minutes and still come out wet. The amount of clothes doesn't seem to matter as I've tried less and less and get the same result. Love that this place is always clean and the staff are always so friendly, but these prices are too much. read more

Been here a couple times now, prices are competitive (not great but that this entire area), people do their thing and leave, no loitering, staff has kept it clean every time I'm there. Place could be better in terms of size and bigger washers but its not bad. read more

Bob's Laundromat has something great going on here... Took a quick Uber over to Bob's Laundry to get some much needed laundry done, and my first impression was, "damn, this place is small" lol. When I arrived, I was having trouble getting a cart out of the door so that I could load my laundry & wheel it in. It appears that they have added an additional 2 feet or so on to the existing carts to prevent theft. Understandable. The Attendant saw me struggling and assisted by offering a cart that was lowered to fit through the door. There's only one I believe.. The place was CLEAN! I mean, like, there was no trash on the floor. The garbage wasn't full or overflowing. They have little bins on the folding table for customers to place used dryer sheets I guess to keep them off the floor. I thought that was a pretty cool idea because it's obviously working. All but one of the machines in the entire laundromat were working, so I considered that a great sign. The place appeared to be very well kept. Signage was legible and neat looking, fitting the overall them of the place. Windows spotless. Vending machine fully stocked. I could go on..... probably the best kept laundromat I've seen in Los Angeles! During my visit, I used three different washing machines, so I'll give the breakdown for what I used. The old school white washer, $2.75 per load. 30 lb washer, $4.25 per load. 40 lb washer, $5.75 per load. Be aware, this location has limited space which means there's limited washing machines to go around. There's only two 40 lb washers at this location. The dryers were PERFECT! In my opinion, I feel like two quarters will get the job done. Three max. Some places you'll be popping in quarters left and right to get your clothes dry lol. My only complaint here is the size of the laundromat in relation to the area. This Laundromat is connected to a very thriving, busy community. During peak hours, you'll probably have trouble finding a machine. Otherwise, great visit to Bob's. read more

COVID-19: Social distancing is enforced at this establishment. All of the staff wears a mask whenever they collect their money. All customers are expected to wear a mask too. The staff also wears gloves. There are no hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is open and has some indoor seating available with limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. While I was doing my laundry here in this establishment several days ago, I asked an employee if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is always very busy and booming because they share the lot with several other establishments. The parking spots are a bit tight, so be careful where you park. Facility & Staff: The establishment itself is a bit dirty. I wish the floors were a bit more clean. They don't sanitize all the washing and drying machines after each person, so the handles are a bit gross and dirty. I always bring my gloves whenever I come here to do laundry. The staff here are very kind and friendly. They accept both cash only. No credit cards. read more

Please don't come here. I inserted 10 dollars into the machine and was expecting the cones. Nothing happened and asked the staff members and he said he doesn't have the key. Now i have to wait 10 business days to get the money back or maybe never get it. Very small. DO NOT COME HERE ON A SUNDAY LET ALONE IN THE EVENING TIME!!! Don't expect any of the washers to work. At least 2/10 of the washers including the big ones only work. Fairly large place so I did not have to wait to use any washer or dryer. Clean, quiet, safe, and the machines in working order.

The man who works here is nice. But this laundromat attracts the most ghetto people. I just witnessed a conflict today. Some leprechaun stature woman about 4'5 was trying to press an older Hispanic grandpa. She hogged the entire dryers with all her laundry and some of them were already done. When the older man tried to find out who one of the laundry in the dryer belonged to, she flipped out on him. A young, nice gentleman defended the old man from her and they start going back and forth at each other. She was acting like B-Rad from Malibu's Most Wanted, talking in vernacular English. I was dying of second hand embarrassment watching her act tough. People got themselves involved and started telling her to calm down and she started flipping them off. I guess there were no workers there to stop the situation at that hour cus the yapping from her went on for like 15 more minutes until we left. Anyways, besides that situation, I've encountered 2 creepy dudes on the same day here last year. Never going back here again. While they seems to have replaced their washers/dryers, we encountered a broken machine that ate $3 worth of quarters from the $4.00 Luckily, an employee was around to help with our issue and helped us to fill out a refund sheet. Said it will take 1-2 weeks to get my refunds? Really? 1-2 weeks? LOL Some machines don't seem to work properly either. I was trying to dry a blanket and it didn't fully dry. I put a damn $1.00 for 28 minutes. If it wasn't close to home, I'd not bother washing/drying here. read more

We've been here several times and didn't have an issue. It gets crowded and it's way too small. My wife and I went washing today and the lady that works there was harassing us to wash quicker while other patrons were not harassed or told to wash quicker. The lady even had taken our clothes out of the dryers before they dried because "too many people were waiting for the dryers". Mind you we had a timer to ensure we wouldn't go over the limit and ensure we got our clothes out to not be a nuisance. Just because of this we are not coming back here. I would suggest others to look elsewhere. read more

Came here to use the heavy duty machines to wash 5 yards of denim fabric. It ate my first 2 quarters and wouldn't spit them up. I got lucky and a worker happen to show up so he just banged the machine real hard a few times and the machine took them. Not the most civilized solution, but it worked. Kind of a cool vintage feel, but nonetheless just old. I wouldn't want to have to wash regular clothes here on a normal basis though, unless they upgrade their machines. Never seems busy though and it's as clean as it can decently be for how old everything is. All machines are coin operated only. They do have change machines though. I stumbled upon this place when the washing machine at my apartment broke and I really needed to do laundry. The wash is $1.25 and drying is $0.25 for each 15 minutes. The washing machines are really old except for the large ones that are $3.50 a wash. I actually brought my large Mexican blanket to wash here and it came out very clean. The dryers are really powerful. It only takes about 30 minutes to dry a large load. They have coin exchanging machine on site. read more

I come here expecting at least to get in and get out with my laundry duties, but this wasn't the case with me yesterday. The change machine, the machine to the right that's by itself in particular, ate a $5 bill of mine. There was no sign written that it's out of order or had a light turned on telling everyone that it ran out of change. The owners of Coin-Op Laundry are the laundry mat equivalent of slumlords. They couldn't have invested more than 10 cents in the upkeep. They're just lucky the neighborhood doesn't have any other options. Otherwise, I can't think of anyone who wouldn't go some place else. All the machines are old, the machines are never cleaned (you can see a thick residue of detergent in most of them), the place itself is only cursery cleaned, no A/C, the change machines work about half the time. Seriously, bad stuff. What's worse is that I've been in the place when I've seen people get mad at the next door dry cleaners thinking it was there establishment. I think they were angry over not getting change. People - give them a break. It's not hard to figure out they aren't the same business. Geesh! Sadly, I've taken to going out of the neighborhood to do my laundry. (My prefered spot is Drop-A-Load in Sierra Madre). You don't have to put up with dirty machines that are never cleaned. So what have I learned about this place since discovering it just last month? Well... The price just went up $0.25 on all the washers in the beginning of October (boo! I just found out about this place and already I have to pay a price increase? Crapiola). The triple-load machine was $3.25, now $3.50. The quadruple-load machine was $4.00, now $4.25. It's still a $0.25 for every 15 minutes of drying time, which is fair. Those dryers are pretty hot. However, the doors are weak. They don't lock in place; it's more of a loose suction. So you can't put too much heavy clothing (in my case, a thick bathroom mat) in the machine because it will push the door open as the contents tumble around and there goes your money. By the time I got back, two out of my three dryer loads were done and dry while the third was wet because the door popped open. The lights are all broken/messed up on the dryers. You can't tell how many quarters the dryer has given you credit for; you just put stick in your money and hope for the best. If you put in more than one quarter, it sometimes doesn't count the other quarters and you only get 15 min. worth of drying time. But if you push the black "Return Coin" button, it will actually register the other coins and add the correct amount of time to the machine. Found out that by accident. :D I don't think the machines are that large in capacity. My mom's 14-year old washer can handle one extra large load at a time. So in comparison to my mom's, it makes me feel like their large machines are, at best, a medium, especially those itty-bitty single-load washers. This place also only has two 4-load washers, so it's best to get there early if you don't want to wait for someone else to be done with them. I can fit three extra large loads in the 4-load machines without stuffing the clothes. The triple-load washers in the front of the store differ from the ones in the back. The ones in the front take about 10 minutes longer to wash. Whether that's a good or bad thing, I don't know. Maybe it cleans better if it washes a little bit longer, but I don't feel like waiting. The change machine has a slot for smaller coins (dimes and nickels) that you can change for quarters; don't bother, it keeps shooting your coins back out. It also says that it accepts bills from $1.00-$20.00. Sorry, it won't take anything larger than a $10.00, so don't come in unprepared, otherwise you're not washing any clothes. Both front and back entrance doors are always open. The problem with the back entrance is that it shares its property with a Chinese restaurant's kitchen back door exit. If you know anything about immigrant Asians (versus the ones from here), one charming aspect about them is that they smoke like chimneys. So half the day they're on a cigarette break. If you happen to have the unfortunate luck of doing your laundry near the back of the laundromat, prepare to breathe in lots of wonderful grey air. It's disgusting and completely comes in because these guys line up about ten feet from the door. read more

On the outside this place looked decent. Boy was I fooled! And I'm so shocked because it's in Arcadia for gosh sakes. Wish I checked Yelp before I wasted money here. The place is so old inside with tacky 70s floral wallpaper. You can find cobwebs on corner machines. Wash is either $1.75 on some super old machines or $3.50 for a bit newer machines. Before putting my clothes in the washing machine I made sure nothing was inside... somehow after the cycle, a Nordstroms card shows up in my load. And only two or three dryers really work. read more

First time here, I'm new to the area. Seems like it was remodeled not too long ago. It's on the pricey side for sure. It has a mixture of small and medium washers. The small load washer is more than $2. Not too many dryer's. And with the dryer you only get 8 minutes per quarter! We all know 8 minutes is not enough to dry a load even 16 minutes. At first I don't believe the reviews. I was like it's not possible. Boy am I so wrong and the reviewers are so right. The smell. They are right. It smells like cigarette inside. I hate to leave negative reviews but on my last visit I had went in to wash and the lady that worked there was in the same section as I was in When I was loading up my wash so I turned my back to pour soap in the machine not thinking twice since I've been using this laundry for years and my 30 dollars in coins disappeared and no one else was anywhere near us. I just left that issue alone and Assumed I must have misplaced them even though I had never found them. Then another time recently I had accidentally left my clothes there when I was in a car accident and when I went back next day couldn't find anyone - And that was the case for almost three days then someone responded with an unknown number and said my clothes had been either taken home by and employee or tossed but when I had even looked by the cans the multiple times I went nothing was there. I've been coming here for over 20 year's. Maybe 5 times a year if that. I came in today to see a whole different layout. Decals on the windows say Bob's Laundromat Company. The vending machine that sells all types of laundry detergent, etc is in the weirdest location. I thought as I walked in they're under slight construction. The regular washers have dwindled in numbers as there aren't that many. Before it was $1.75 now it's $2.25! For $.25 cents more you can upgrade to a different type of washer but the drum doesn't seem very big. I was glad to see that the dryers are still a quarter BUT no longer for 15 minutes it is now only 6 minutes I believe and the dryers look to hold massive quantity. Maybe these are standard prices everywhere else and we've been spoiled here. So far the clothes look okay. I don't like the new layout of the space. The new folding stations look small and cramped. This place obviously upgraded everything so the new prices are really just sticker shock at first. Because of the location I will come back. I was harassed by the owner of this establishment after leaving to grab a laundry basket from my car between washing and drying. Evidently, he had failed to witness the two loads of laundry I had been washing and accused me of bringing wet clothes into his laundromat just to dry them, snarling in my face and saying "Customers only, here." I sincerely regret becoming one of this man's customers. Rude management aside, this laundromat is rundown, dirty, and many of the machines fail to work. I left after drying my clothes for 40 minutes, not wanting to be harassed by the owner again, and my clothes were sopping wet. Do not come here. You will be disappointed. Small place, no fans or AC. Seems kind of run down. We tried drying our clothes here but the dryers don't have a price on them. The little box that typically says the price was blank on all of the machines, pretty annoying. There wasn't anyone working there either so we couldn't even ask. A clean place to go do your laundry. And very convenient to pavilions supermarket. So you could put your wash in the machine and do your grocery shopping. Well lit. Two machines to make change. Plenty of washers and dryer's. The only negative thing I can say about them is that they do not have a lost and found department. I was in a rush one day I left a load in the washing machine. I was washing about eight loads forgot one. Came back the next day and found out that they don't save anything. So I lost my bedskirt to my California king bed.
