Breakdown: Rear brake job- $535 Front brake job- $535 Tie rod ends- $323 Alignment- $125 Struts- $1,920 Ac condenser- $1921 A/C service (which I was told at the last visit would not fix my a/c as it is the condenser that is broken)- $175.85 Degrease engine bay- $138 Water pump- $1041 Air filter box- $499 Air filter snorkel- $451 Windshield wipers- $47 End bill was ~$9,450 Now just for kicks and giggles, I had them replace the windshield wipers as I don't like doing it myself. It costed $144 after labor. I don't mind paying for good work. But the prices are all in the highest range of every Google estimate for fixing these issues. Even someone with money to burn would not pay these prices. I am a teacher. I need a working car. I took my car to my dad, who was an air force mechanic for 28 years. He was able to fix all issues in the car except the a/c for $700 worth of parts and about 3 hours of work. Why? My car did not need half the repairs they told me it needed, and not for their exorbitant cost of labor. Your mechanics are charging more for labor than my dad made per hour in the military. Cars are already expensive. Esler's does not need to charge disgustingly high prices for routine maintenance, and they certainly don't need to suggest repairs that don't need done. I will not be coming back. Half star is for the front desk lady. She was really nice and got me scheduled quickly. Give her a raise. Maybe you can give her some of that labor cost.

I had a new engine put in somewhere else, but started using Eagle. I noticed an oil leak and was…read moretold there were valve leaks from when Tom Wood put in the engine. Tom Wood said my vehicle was out of warranty (12k miles or one year and I work from home, so I didn't drive it often). I had Eagle do the valve work, with was over $800. A few months later, I noticed there was still oil leaking. I took it back and they said it wasn't the valves, but is now the top oil pan. I asked didn't they have to touch or remove the oil pan to do the valve work? They said no and said it would be another $800+ to repair. I talked to another mechanic and was told they absolutely had to remove the oil pan to do the valve work. So, my truck is leaking oil and loosing engine pressure because Eagle reduced to honor their warranty and wanted to milk me for money. Update after owners response: I took my vehicle back a few months later and that was the answer given. I did not drive for the majority of 2025 because of a hand injury. I'm writing this response now because of what I was told by a mechanic recently. If they look in their system, they will see they repaired my car and a few months later, I brought it back for a diagnostic because it was still leaking oil. I work from home and put very few miles on my car between 2020 and January 2026.

They said they wouldn't even be able to look at it until Monday, so I remembered Eagle Auto which was half a mile away. I got there 10 minutes before they opened and was the first one in. Jessica helped me at the counter. She was absolutely phenomenal and LOVELY. She got my keys and said they'd have someone run diagnostics on it. I made my self comfortable and waited for about 45 mins until she came back with the results. Thankfully nothing popped up on their tests and she gave me my keys and said no charge. Wow. Just wow. Great service and they were so prompt. I told her that I would be giving them an awesome review- especially her help. I first took it to my local Ford dealership and asked them to check the car out and fix what needed fixing, the end result was very unsatisfactory leading to losing trust in their mechanics. I next took my Edge to a Christian Brothers auto shop in my area with the hopes of finding a trustworthy replacement for the Ford dealership. Strike Two!!! they tried to replace a part that Ford had already done . Bottom line , they tried to rip me off!!! I caught it and confronted their management. They won't get any more business from me. Moving forward to February 2026-My car started to experience front end suspension noises, AGAIN! (Ford fixed it-so I thought). I needed to find another shop that won't rip off the customer. Reputation is key! My search commenced and I found a local shop near me called "The Noble Mechanic" - (Reputation is key) I made an appointment and was assigned to service adviser Andrew. I told him my story and asked to have my car totally diagnosed and checked over again. I needed peace of mind on all previous work that was supposedly done that I was charged for. I stressed that I'm looking for a new shop to bring my family's business to. I received my car health report and was informed that the Ford dealership used NON-OEM third party parts when they repaired my front suspension. These were bad parts that didn't fit correctly and were failing. Adviser Andrew then provided options for me to consider and suggested the correct OEM equivalents over original OEM to save me $$$$. Overall, Their total car check and diagnosis is very detailed with pictures and the communication walkthrough is done with patience and clarity not rudeness and short answers. Although, I would like to see their labor rate charge of ($137.43 hr.) fully disclosed on invoices/bills (Had to ask Andrew for it) may be higher than other shops, but please consider this, you WANT a shop who employs highly trained and experienced mechanics who love cars and will NOT cut corners when repairing it. Reputation is key!!! Reviews count!! Thank you Andrew and your great team of mechanics for their work. The Noble Mechanic has earned our business going forward.
