Do you want to have the best corn dog of your life? If the answer is yes, then you should visit Bob's Espresso. Bob's is bucking the latest health trends and leaning into life's simple pleasures, namely their iconic dipped-meat-stick. In my opinion, their snowy little shack should be named after the dogs themselves, instead of the espresso. They do have a plethora of drinks that you can choose from, but I can't speak on those. I was locked in on the main prize all day, taking down two of these monster dogs. You'll immediately be taken back to a simpler time, maybe at a state fair or your local carnival, which was probably the last time you had one. Your impression of a corn dog is probably that it has too much breading, like a sausage wrapped in a pancake. But no, these are much more dog-forward. The batter is only a thin layer, making for an impeccable crunch on every bite. The inner-dog is flavorful and juicy. My only gripe is the lack of variety in sauces. I've proclaimed many times here that I am a sauce boi, so mustard and ketchup alone will not cut it. A mayo-based sauce would have taken this to the next level as a dog shop. But I can't take away points for that, since this is still the best of my life. A worthwhile stop after a day of hiking, skiing, or shameless indulgence. read more

We stopped here on a recommendation from family. They said to try 2 things: The infamous Corn Dog and a milkshake. The shakes are made with the great Cascade Glacier Ice Cream (I got the espresso one) and the corn dog is gigantic and the batter is just right. Both were fantastic. We had quick service and loved every bite and sip of these 2 decadent items. So delish! Now we have a new snack place to go to in the future when stopping at the rest stop. Great job Bob! This place serves up golden, crispy, perfectly nostalgic corn dogs that hit harder than a summit sunrise. The batter is light but has that perfect crunch. The dogs are juicy and hot. I don't know what kind of sorcery they use, but I can say this: I considered ordering a second one before I even finished the first. How have I not heard about this spot with the corn dogs across from Dru Bru before now?! I don't even know how I stumbled upon this secret, but I am so happy I did! I can only vouch for the corn dogs and nothing else, but they were delicious. This spot is right next to the Snoqualmie Pass bathrooms/rest stop. After hiking at the Pass this past weekend, we stopped by to use the public restrooms, grabbed some corn dogs, and walked across the street with them to Dru Bru and grabbed beers to go with them! I think the corn dogs were $4 each. The coffee stand had ice cream too! Definitely recommend stopping here when going through the Pass. Which honestly I go by here often! read more

i will start this off saying i LOVE corn dogs and i've tried all of them from frozen to carnival fresh to disney.... honestly this is meh for me. it was soooo oily which i get corn dogs are but this was SOOOO oily and tasted like old oil. I'd definitely want to try it again just cause there are so many good reviews but for me, i'd stick with my disney and carnival dogs. i do agree with the reviews that this batter was so crispy, light and not thick like most but it was ayyy too oily for me and i seriously don't get disgusted easily by this but it was super oily . read more

I park and walk up to the window, and in spite of the sticker on the window indicating that the accept credit cards, I am immediately told that it is cash only. I'm assuming they are not gluten free- and after being gluten free for 3.5 months I broke down and had a few bites of this delicious corn dog my husband was chomping on. Literally the best corn dog of my life. A nice light layer of batter, very crispy and the dog itself was a huge meaty masterpiece. I was not expecting such a high meat to crust ratio, most corn dogs are mostly fluff with very little dog. This is mostly dog with a thinner magical greasy (but in a good way) crust. My husband likes the fluffy corn-bread style batter corn dogs, and wasn't a big fan of this crispy cornmeal batter, but he is weird and wrong. Came up to play in the snow with the kids, and wanted a coffee and Yelp directed me to this little gem! Had a soy latte as well and it was peachy keen. The toddler had a hot cocoa and it was served at perfect toddler temp, he sucked it down with the quickness so I'd assume that was yummy as well. read more

Boy, this place is a hidden gem! It's a tiny little shop right outside of a market. The coffee is deliciousss! Enough to have a long line of people standing outside waiting in the cold for it lol. I love this place! They honestly have the best corn dogs around! I also like their italian sodas which go along well as a refreshing compliment to the heavy corndog. The only downside with this place is that the hours are never clear so today I asked them! The are open from 7-7pm Fri-Sun, until 4pm Mon-Tues, and until 6pm Wednesday and Thursday! :) And if all else fails you can call the nearby grocery store which owns the coffee stand. Stopped by at 9:30am this morning on our way home after a weekend in the pass. We had been told by numerous friends to grab a corn dog here, so decided to try even though it was so early. They were happy to make us two fresh corn dogs and we also grabbed a latte. The corn dogs took less than 5 minutes and were phenomenal. Warm, crispy, and the perfect amount of grease. The latte was also great, the shots weren't burnt at all. Will definitely be back here on every ski day and hike moving forward. read more

We were staying at an AirBnb for a ski weekend and we were just hoping to find some good coffee. The coffee and hot chocolate here are legit awesome great drive up service, super quick and very good coffee for a coffee shack. What we weren't expecting was the corn dogs. Having read the reviews we wanted to try them out. I drove by in the morning to pick up coffee but they apparently don't make them until later in the day. (I mean, corn dogs for breakfast *is* kinda weird.) We came back later that day after skiing and picked some up... and... wow!... Best corn-dogs I've ever had. Most "fancy" corn dogs are all about the batter. These have a fairly thin layer of batter and it's perfectly crispy and flakey. The dog itself is fantastic and complements the batter perfectly. A corn dog is something I would never just order, let alone from a drive-up coffee stand. But this morning I stopped by Bob's Expresso on Snoqualmie pass to get a iced tea for the drive when I remembered friends always mentioning the hand dipped battered dogs. Sure enough, Brandi the barista said she could make it in one minute. And yes, it was a hand dipped deep fried, very tasty slightly crunchy corn meal crust on a huge fresh moist polish dog served piping hot. I was definitely surprised by how good it was and I was even more surprised that I never have tried one sooner. So when on Snoqualmie Pass, stop at Bob's Espresso, whether for coffee, tea or corndogs, you'll be glad you did... Ps. I just heard this stand also makes the best hand scopped ice cream milk shakes. read more

I went to this coffee shop being in desperate need of some coffee. I was disappointed that they didn't have white coffee or tea but I won't fault them on their lack of choices. What I will fault them on is first the lack of the baristas customer service. She was late greeting us to the window which made me question if this place was even open. Then she was rude when telling us she didn't offer white coffee or tea. What completely set me off and what prompted this review is something that others need to be aware of because it is absolutely disgusting. There were no customers prior to us arriving. When I asked for my drink, this barista grabbed a pitcher that was already full of milk that was on top of the espresso machine and used this to make my drink. This means the milk had just been sitting there for who knows how long! That is repulsive. I am so upset I wasted my money there to get a drink I didn't really want due to the lack of choices, deal with the bad attitude of this barista, and ultimately get a drink that I had to throw away. If you get stomach issues after getting a drink here, don't be surprised! I would recommend going to Red Mountain which is right next door instead! read more
