I was super excited to try this coffee spot in North Bend for the first time and when I suggested…read moreit as a meeting spot for breakfast with my book bestie, I was enthused to learn that it's actually her go-to place to get her morning caffeine! The coolest thing about this spot seems to be their rotating specials year round! The lucky charms cold foam my book bestie described from their last year's St. Patrick's day menu sounded drool-worthy. I was super excited to try their Valentine's day offerings. The woman at the counter who took my order was so sweet. She helped me put together the perfect custom drink for me: a 16 oz oat milk dark chocolate mocha with raspberry syrup and raspberry cold foam on top! It was delicious, I loved how fluffy and sweet the cold foam was and the dark chocolate in the mocha was delectably rich. I was also super excited about their diverse pastry selection! I've never seen a raspberry cornetto before and I was super excited to order it. I loved that it was literally like having a croissant with jam which is one of my fave breakfasts! One of my pet peeves is when croissants are too flaky and hard to tear apart with your fingers, but this one was super easy to tear apart and eat, though it still was fairly messy. The cosy atmosphere made it easy for me and my book bestie to spend hours chatting over our drinks. I love the huge windows that allow for so much natural light an incredible view of Mount Sci. I'd definitely love to come back with my watercolours and paint it. Since this is my book bestie's fave coffee shop spot, I'm sure we'll be back here soon! I'm super excited to keep exploring their seasonal drinks.

I am a long time customer of Huxdotter - specifically the northbend location. I am really…read moredisappointed in the turn it has taken in the last 2 years, specifically the customer service. 90% of the girls who work there have 0 concept of customer service. Every time I have come in the last year (1x a week or so) I am met with a feeling of judgement, annoyance and entitlement from the employees. Even asking a simple question when ordering or at the pickup bar seems to be met with immediate annoyance and defensiveness. I will say Dalia is a sweetheart, and her coworkers could learn a thing or 2 from her..... "Hux energy" which I think is just lotus are okay but are $7-8 which seems a little ridiculous for sparkling water and energy base lol. Overall I hope they can turn this business back around it's unfortunate to see a local coffee shop go down hill because of bad employees!

While the parking isn't easy to find, once you are inside this establishment it's one of the best…read morespots in the area. It's an order from the counter experience with two places to order, and bars with great beer options. The outdoor space is incredibly vast so make sure your kids bring stuff to play with so they can't stay busy for a long time. The chicken curry dish was flavorful and a wonderful recommendation from the lady who took our order. Also the halumi and melon salad was great, but I wish it had more melon. I'd rather there be more melon than lettuce in a halumi and melon salad. Everything is $20 a plate or more.

There are no servers for the tables, that's fine but why am I tipping at 18%, 20%, 25%? I also do…read moremy own bus service and fetch my food. The menu was Lunch/Dinner, Linner? The Food was odd, like my mother used to take left overs and blend them on her plate. Chicken Curry was more like a fajita bowl the, chicken was curry esk and missed on any deeper curry flavors, curry seasoning one note topped sour cream and a sticky plain rice. Just make fajitas if you don't have time Chef. Appetizers we had the Chicken wings with Franks Hot Sauce and Chunky Blue Cheese. The Baked Goat cheese was great , Delicious! The Burgers were made well and fries big wide cut, fried to a crispy perfection. My husband ordered Milk n Cookies, 2 huge cookies made well. My son and I got the fruit shivers they are good and a bit large so maybe share. I would rather see a separate dinner menu with skilled cooking. Steak?

Amazing! This place is incredible! We stopped in for a quick lunch. I got the Caesar and my wife…read moregot the soup and sandwich combo (roast beef and star ravioli). Let me start by saying that the Caesar was probably the best Caesar I have ever had. I live a few hours away and think about that salad often. My wife loved the sandwich and soup, as well. Sadly we were too full to eat any dessert but they have a rotating dessert list and while we were there the strawberry cake looked insanely good. So good that every single table around us ended up getting at least one slice. I was jealous... What makes this place extra special (aside from the incredible food), are all the little touches that they add to their plates. Little heart-shaped ice cubes with blueberries, heart-shaped butter, and a full leaf of lettuce below the salad. I know it might not sound like much but it really shows the attention to detail. And, to top it off, the staff were simply amazing. They were attentive, friendly and really nice to chat with. This will be a main stop anytime we are in town.
