One of the best breakfast in town. Large portions and priced right. My go to place when don't have time to cook.

Went to the new location and had excellent service. New place is very clean and servers were very attentive. Hubby had a cheeseburger club and I had a chef salad both were great. Produce was very fresh and my hubby said burger was perfect. We will be back again soon. read more

Filthy dirty, seriously...the place is disgusting. I am surprised the health department hasn't closed it down. The filth obviously took away from being able to trust the food. Opened the the jelly packet and it was obviously old and spoiled. The ketchup bottle caps are rusted and there was mold on the salt shaker. Not sure why this place is getting good reviews...all I can say is WOW. read more

Bob's Coffee Shop - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Ceres, California

I found Bob's on Yelp and thought I'd give it a try. As advertised this is a hole the wall. Arrived about 10 a.m. and found it to be a little on the warm side. I ordered Bacon & Eggs which came with hash browns and biscuits and gravy. Eggs and bacon cooked to order, biscuits and gravy good, but hash browns tasted like they were cooked in old grease. Probably won't go back because of that. read more

Bobs tastes better than Denny's. And the owner is my grandpa.and the cook is my cousin. Every time we say hi. Next time you go here you should get some of their great pancakes. read more

Wow! What a pleasant surprise! We stopped here on a recent road trip. (young family of four) The service was great. Fast, friendly and helpful. Food was perfect! Large postions at reasonable prices. Exactly what to expect from a small local 'Ma and Pa' establishment. Coffee was great! Excellent kids menu! Fun local flare. The next time we're headed along HWY 99 we'll certainly stop by again! read more

Me and my fiancé eat here regularly , they have been local and in business for years and recently upgraded to another much spacious location . The servers speak English and Spanish , and they go above and beyond for you. Aside from the negative reviews , the food portions here are way more than you need and i can almost guarantee you will not finish . They are have cheap to moderate prices for a lot of food. I would definitely recommend , and i always get the chorizo works . read more

Worst service ever. 1 hour to for the order to be taken. She took other 5 other orders first. Then when food was ready my omelette was so hot. It's obvious it was warmed in a microwave. And my pancakes where brought out 5 minutes later. Ny suggestion go to Debbie's the food is better and not as expensive. A Bobs Special Wich is a denver omelette with salsa that tastes like pace picante sauce. And the omelette is so hot I still haven't been able to eat it. I do not recommend this place. read more

Small, bland portions.... Was excited and heard a lot of buzz about this place so my bf brought me on my birthday for breakfast. The place is nice and new. Waiters and servers are fairly attentive and nice. The food portions were super tiny, almost like a child's plate and the food was bland. Perhaps the hype didn't help my expectation but both me and my bf agreed we wouldn't be going back. read more

Staff is really good. I have been here a bunch. I only tend to stay away from certain specials because they are probably getting rid of older items. I had tilapia special once and regrets... Got a bit sick. read more

Love this place but it is way too small even though they re opened a new location waited 20 mins to be seated for a party of 5 we got 2 small tables asked to sit in a booth and we were told we couldn't get a booth someone in back of us there drink so we had to move our chairs because it's so small it's a good place but it needs to be bigger read more

We were very disappointed by Bob's. We had high hopes from all of the other reviews. The Bacon & eggs were good, because we knew they were fresh, not frozen. The pancakes tasted like they were made from a packaged mix, the Chicken Fried Steak was definitely frozen, and the gravy tasted like it was from a package. I went through the kitchen to the bathroom, and while waiting, I looked around. There was a huge bag of frozen sausages and a stack of frozen burger patties on the counter, boxes of Quaker 1 minute oats, boxes of frozen potatoes and French fries, and one of the workers pulled out a huge bucket of what looked like margarine (pancakes came with a scoop of it). So if you want to eat frozen food, this is your place. At least the prices were fair for the quality of food. read more

Bad service first thier credit card machine was not working so we had to go to the bank to get cash. We waited for about 45 minutes to get our food coffee tasted like it's was days old and it was cold.( We did not asked for ice coffee). Atfter waiting for 45 min for our food waitress come to tell me that they were out off rostbeef. Our food was cold. Then as the waitress is serving the coffee she spills coffee all over my son's pants and shoes. She just walked away. read more

Great food all the time. Either to go or dine in, food always good. Can't wait for bigger shop to open soon.

Love Bobs. Great portions. Bomb pancakes. Everything I've tried is soooo good and they serve the most delicious cup of coffee!!! I asked for the "good" creamer and they brought me a secret stash! read more

I remember this place use to b a really nice Reasonable place to eat ! Now they charge u a to go fee on every meal . Their hot chocolate is 2.75 but a 1.75 to go fee the food isn't wat it use to be . Like previous reviews. Not the fanciest place in the county but the food is very good and the service is great. Would recommend it for lunch for sure. read more

We were excited to give Bob's a try after they moved to their new location in the Save Mart shopping center. Sad to say, we wont visit again. Had to ask 3 times before getting refills on iced tea, and still the server only re-filled 1 of the 2 glasses, our cheeseburgers were very dry, and the bun was very stale. I thought it would be kind of hard to mess up a cheeseburger...??While waiting, another couple came in, waited for 15 minutes, never got service and left. It wasn't busy. It was 2:30 in the afternoon, only 2 other customers, & 2 servers. We wont be back. :-( read more

idk what all the hupla is about this resturant. My boyfriend and his family love this place. But to be honest I dont really like it that much. Im vegan so all I really get is oatmeal and hashbrowns lol. My bf loves it here lol read more

Yes it's in a craphole area but definitely a gem. I went there for the first time this last weekend and it was really good. I had the Cornbeef harsh with pancakes.. yum, so good. The prices are really cheap and much better quality then a perkos. read more

Best breakfast joint in town! Everything is seasoned well and they are pretty good portion sized. The clubhouse sandwich is loaded with ham, bacon, lettuce, and tomato and comes with fries. It's so good! It's a small place so you have to be there early to get a good seat. The one thing I don't like is that their soups are from the can and they don't cook them long enough. But other than that this place is great! read more

Terrible customer service, there was only 1 waitress and she was limping around slowly serving everyone. If you're leg hurts, that might affect your work ethic, stay home. Ordered a meal that required 2 plates, got one then waited 20 minutes then asked for the second plate. Waitress took our order by memory and messed them up. Food was great read more

This place is great.. Yes its in the ghetto, yes its a dive, and yes its a hole in the wall but the staff is great and the food is really good and cheap. This was my 1st visit to this place and it was jammed pack and that alone let me know that i picked a winner. When the food arrived i was blown away.. It was good and fresh. I will be coming again... read more

This place has good food. But I noticed the employees have a sanitary issue. I went in with my family a couple times and both times I caught the server picking her nose with her shirt and then went on her way to serve people their food along with a lady cleaning silverware and sneezing right over it and didn't even stop to wash her hands nor re-wash the silverware just wiped down with a rag. When my kids received their meal they had gotten served Rotten milk. I was definitely grossed out and probably won't be coming back here read more

I live around the corner from this place and I never went in until recently. My mother recommended it so I decided to stop by. It's a really small place and it gets packed pretty early on in the morning but it's worth it. I've tried their pollo ranchero which is grilled chicken with grilled veggies on top, a side of scrambled eggs, shredded potatoes and pancakes on the side. It was better than anything I've had at a Denny's or IHOP! read more

A friend recommended this place to me and I'm glad he did. I got breakfast, the portions were great and it tasted just as good.. The employees were courteous and made sure I had what I needed. I will definitely be back read more

I've been going here since I was a teenager and the food has always been great. My only complaint, is that they need to update the decor and furniture. Maybe give it a fresh coat of paint, and be a little more attentive to the cleanliness. read more

Had breakfast with my hubby. The food is mediocre and lack flavor. Needless to say I will not be back. Service was friendly and attentive.

Wow I thought people where kidding when they said it was cheap...its no joke. Fed a family of 6 for $27 bucks. Great food great prices and that works for me since I'm pretty cheap. This place is all about the food....and prices if a pretty environment is important then go to somewhere else. The pancakes are awesome this place only gets a four start for me because the breakfast is great but the lunch menu lacks the place is small and can become crowded very quickly and like I said it could use a bath.... the services is always warm, the BREAKFAST is great and it's cheap it has my recommendation. read more

Nice breakfast. My wife was happy with the pancakes. She makes excellent pancakes herself from scratch. I had a chorizo ranchero scramble. Very. Spicy and flavorful. Coffee was standard fare. Excellent service. Breakfast was $16.50 for two. read more

IHOP & Denny's has no match for bobs !!! If you're in the area for breakfast or lunch this is the place to go no doubt. It's small but the food is huge and good read more

Everything I've had here has been amazing! Prices are great too! One of those amazing little hole-in-wall places!

This is a solid greasy spoon! The food is what you'd expect from a diner, but with better service! I have had the chorizo and eggs, various omelets, and other breakfast fare! Tasty food and quick service, but not alot of room! read more

I love going to this place.. Good food and good prices. Ive been going to this place for years and ive never been let down. It mite look like a hole in the wall but the food is awesome! read more

Poor quality and over priced. Don't waste you money here. It's seems like all the prices jumped up because of the new location. Worst cheese burger I've ever had. It was over cook and hard. read more

Ate here last Friday & had bob's omelette which was pretty good. Hostess was nice & never had to flag to get refill of coffee. Food cheap. Diner a lil raggedy & small & dated. But overall not bad...not great but not many options in this darn town. read more

love their food! but the set up of the restaurant is a little awkward so it feels a little crammed in there. aside from that, great place to eat :) read more

Good food especially for the price. It is a HOLE in the wall and not in the best neighborhood.
