    Stuff I took off salad...
    Brandy C.

My 2nd time @ Bobs was much. More savory Than the initial visit. Simply put, the overcooked over grilled , was rectified! I personally had a pleasant dialogue with Big Bob . I'm not sure if that's his first name? I mentioned the tough bird, from '23 & he assured me it would be done right this time. The chicken skewers combo plate also includes rice & huge portion of salad The chicken was still tender at room temperature There's a stealthy bathroom in the building ask Bob for directions. Great lunch before my Doctor visit.

Dr Pepper (creamsoda flavor) - they have variety of soft drinks, coffee, teas available

I needed some warm food, I entered this place to have some good / no gimmick delicious meal. Their combination plate with 2 different kind of kabobs (chicken & beef skewers) was very warm and delicious I chose hummus & rice as side (they also have Green salad) and overall it tasted very good. Good portion, very healing warm meal. I rarely drink soda & The Dr Pepper Creamsoda flavor was a first for me, surprisingly very good. I have yet to try their falafel, but it looked very good I'm getting it next time. The staffs are always very very kind and friendly. Thank you so much !

Be careful the plates in no way represent what u get. If u want what u see they will charge you 5-10 fee

Horrible food. They put steak with rice and humans/pita on display. They actually give you chuck beef with no humus or pita, that would be 6 bucks more please.would not refund money even though they are obviously hustling few extra bucks. Problem is every business is hustling the public 5 bucks at a time.........

i did not know i could get mediterranean food in ktown!!!! i ordered takeout and the food was ready really quickly. the lady making my smoothie seems to own the place and she was so sweet. the feel of the restaurant was like a neighborhood cafe for bites and coffee. since i'm vegan, i ordered the falafel plate and mango orange smoothie. the falafel plate comes with a full box of food - very tasty at a great price. i'm already excited to go back and try their tabbouleh salad :) thank you bob's for an amazing start to my dayb

Just tried the Beef Kabob plate today. The meat is a little on the fried side, but it's not thing that can't be fixed with some butter and salt. The rice is a bit on the mushy side, so if you are picky about your rice-- I recommend asking for a substitute or get a lot of salad and dressing. For $11, I would consider the portion of the beef kabob fair. Alternatively, you can order a side of Hummus & pita to make your own pita sandwich as well!. Service is friendly and the cashier and cooks remembered me which made me happy.

    Combination plate with hummus

Good spot for lunch, usually get the combination plate, hummus is on point extremely recommend! Good service, very friendly

Delicious, no frills hole-in-the-wall! Server was really friendly and made all our food to-order. Everything was so tasty and fresh, though you wouldn't expect it just from looking at the place. The pita bread deserves a special shout out because it tasted so good on its own, and it was perfectly rolled out (pita bread isn't supposed to be thick, folks). Ask for extra garlic sauce because that stuff is BOMB. Our least favorite item was the falafel, which was a little airy and chalky, and missing the bite you get from more coarsely ground chickpeas + that herby punch that makes falafel so moreish. Overall though, we really enjoyed our meal and thought it tasted better than other pricier Mediterranean establishments we've been to. There is also free parking in the back. The next time you are on Wilshire, skip the chain restaurants and give this place a chance -- you'll be glad you did.

    dry, tough, flavorless

Stopped by because it was next to my chiropractor. The meat was soooo tough, had no flavor, and the whole meal was just dry. The worker was so kind I didn't want to complain, I probably won't be back.

Lentil Soup served w/a side of pita bread. Small Cup $3 & Large Cup $4.50. Peppery kick to it, but I would definitely get it again.

They sell a variety of sandwich which you can customize to your liking. Because the sandwichs are huge, my sister and I shared one. We tried the L'Italiana and added truffle honey for $3. Total was $24 for our shared sandwich that was super filling for two people that we actually didn't even finish our own portion. So highly recommend sharing your sandwich! The sandwich was better than expected, the truffle honey really elevated the flavor of the specific sandwich we got but I would ask for less honey. Too much sweetness did overpower the sandwich. We also got the chip & drink combo for $5 and it's Italian chips & water. They also have a small bar seating area! Parking was a bit harder to find but we found street metered parking. Would highly recommend & can't wait to be back.

It was getting late, so while I waited for the kid in the car at their activity, I went on The Heights website found an order form and placed an order for some sammies all in 5 minutes. I didn't even ask the hubs or the vegetarian kid what they wanted. I went with what I thought they'd like. 15-minutes later, I was picking the sandwiches up at the walk-in only shop. There was no line and better yet, they were wrapped up and ready to go when I walked in. The smiling lady asked if I wanted napkins or utensils. They have case after case of cold drinks so we picked out a couple of drinks, paid for those and left. It was easy and fast. Enjoyed the yumminess at home. I normally would save a half for another meal but my "Pasadena" hit the spot that I finished it up all at once. Quality bread, meats, cheese, fillings aka all the ingredients...to boot! PS the kid loved theirs and so did the hub. Thanks for making dinner: easy and delicious! There are no pictures because it was too delicious to take the time out and take any. Just order.

Our server Abby was friendly and helpful but not over the top- just right. The owner was lovely and brought the food to us . We had the baguette with butter (amazing), the ricotta dumplings (star of the show), lettuce salad (best I've ever had), asparagus, and the short rib pasta which we didn't care for. The salad was way too overpriced for the portion size and there wasn't anything special about it. Maybe other than the snap peas were slightly charred? The beef tartare was okay. I think if the toast was not as thick, the flavor would be more balanced. The char on the toast was the main flavor. The ricotta dumplings were the best thing we ate that night, mostly because of the broth. It was equally light and full bodied, I could've had an entire bowl of the broth to myself! The ricotta dumplings were good but definitely needed the broth to complete it. Otherwise, it was just okay on its own. The dish comes with two dumplings. The half chicken was good. The charr on the chicken was perfect. The chicken breast was on the dry side though. The salad was more on the bitter side and it lingered. I liked that the bread was mixed in the salad and soaked up the chicken juice. I think there is room for improvement in terms of the food quality. The pricing definitely doesn't make sense. Half a chicken was only $5 more than the ricotta dumplings?? Idk. $21 for 5 endive leaves, snap peas, maybe a quarter of an avocado... the most overpriced item on the menu for sure.

One thing to note - it's takeout only, no seating, so most people eat in their car or take it to go. Parking-wise, there's a small lot in the plaza which is pretty compact (although I came on a Friday night and I didn't have much trouble).
